Olivia Newton-John!!!
I
begged my mother to let me see Grease, and she was hesitant because I was only 5 or 6 and it was PG-rated. The power of my love for Olivia Newton-John must have overwhelmed her, because she finally agreed. It was playing at the drive-in, too, of all awesome places to see a movie. God, I was over the moon when I found out she was going to take me to see it. I remember being hysterical with joy. lol, I loved Xanadu, too. A lot. A whole lot.
I don't think I've come across many lesbians who didn't crush on Julie Andrews. I remember seeing Mary Poppins and being kind of disappointed that it wasn't basically The Sound of Music 2.
Yes to Lindsay Wagner! Yes to Kate Jackson (by FAR my favorite Angel)! Yes to Linda Carter, too. I looooved Wonder Woman.
(Um...and yes to Shaun Cassidy! He was so pretty, he should count!)
As for people I actually knew in real life, I only had eyes for the assistant troop leader of my Brownie troop. She was a
real Girl Scout! I am pretty sure I made my love for her blatantly obvious and, to everyone's credit, they didn't give me a hard time about it.
Very fun thread!
