See how bothered I am? I mean something that recognises the acting then I am all "Yay Aly!" but the "Best Sidekick" is as much, if not more, a product of the writing IMHO and the writing... well we all know where that went. Besides the sidekick that tries to destroy the world? Interesting choice definition of "best."

First of all, hooray for people who recognize Aly at all. Second of all, I agree with the bit about blowing up the world not being good as a sidekick.



Also, (this has to do with other nominations), I find it odd they've nominated films that have yet to come out. I find it wonderful that Frankie Muniz and Amanda Bynes got a best chemistry nomination, because I saw that movie with my little sister and we were both yelling at them to kiss (and everyone in the theater said to shut up, but that's not the point).

Yeah Tyche did Amber actually say that? I'm positive Aly would be a great kisser. A lot of the times when Willow is meant to be excited or in a good mood, Aly sticks her tongue out slightly and I always find that very cute.

Have to agree I just don't think best sidekick is quite appropriate with the all I want to end the world, and the WWF type "bitch fight" with Buffy. However, this will give her more recognition, and the chance for us to see more Aly goodness if she attends the awards.

I thought I knew the exact reference Tyche used, so had a quick scan, but din't find the interview.

I was already gonna blow it off as a Nickelodeon event and let that explain the 'sidekick' garbage, but if they're gonna nominate Britney Spears for anything other than the No-Talent Eye-Candy award than I'm through! Besides, they nominated 'TRL' as a reality show, all three of the girls from 'Friends' as best comedic actress, Mandy Moore as another dramatic actress and two Jack Black movies for best comedy. Sarah Michelle Gellar on the other hand looked dazzling. Very funny and with that cute smile of hers. Lots of Buffy-winks: musical-part (ok, mainly for Moulin Rouge) where Sarah got to sing a lil: Once more with feeling. The part about sex, where she bows forward: couldn't help but think about Spike and B in the Bronze... bad thing, I know, well aware, but I'm determined to see the movie awards thingie as a kind of parody, mockery... Ha ! Joss, she's on the move now, it's out of your hands...



I'd rather have Aly being nominated for "Best Actress" too, but the side-kick syndrome's a bitch (uh, lemme rephrase that... ) She has all the right stuff to overcome it, though (cfr. Gabrielle: last girl standing) You take what you can get...
