Re: Wolfy's Poetry

Postby wolfwynd » Sun Oct 19, 2003 5:26 pm

I'm feeling a bit down, here's my attempt at trying to get my jumbled up thoughts into conherence sentences.

The thoughts, anger, frustration swim inside my head,

Begging for the release that only you can give me,

I need your touch, your smile, your kiss,

The actions that tell me your mine and mine only.

Trying to make sense of everything, and failing miserably,

What can I do to make things better?

What can I do to make things right, as they once were,

And may never be again.

My love for you is engraved deep inside my love,

I’ll never be able to convey just how much you mean to me,

I can write poems, sonnets, stories, I can tell you, but it’ll never be enough,

I love you.

I need to help, make things alright,

Put your soul in tune with mine again,

Put your self at peace and your hand in mine,

I need you.

I keep my intentions cloaked, my feelings hidden,

As I have always done and will continue,

Only you see through me like a pane of glass,

From you I cannot hide.

My love for you is as deep as the sea,

As strong and solid as the mountains above,

But how long before it crumbles,

And I am left alone?

My head is hurting, my eyes are sore,

My patience is wearing thin,

Yet with every breath I love you more and more,

And with each and every passing day…

Alice Louise Hall, I love you with all my heart and soul, never forget that you are never alone in this world... :flower

Yours always,

Laura :pride

Dear Laura,

After talking with you I've realized exactly what Al means to you. I feel the same way about Her (she who shall not be named :p) I know you're having trouble expressing to Ali how you feel, but I think this poem'll do the trick! Remember, the Stuffy is always here!

A song I'm working on, I'd appreciate feedback, please be as much of a critic as possible it all helps :) Also it doesn't have a title yet - any ideas?

"The lights they flicker, but no-ones home,

Can you hear me tonight?

I try to touch, but the flame, it burns

Baby, can you feel me tonight?

I try to look, but the light, it blinds,

Can you see me tonight?

My tears they fall, my heart it breaks,

Do you truly love me tonight?

Coz baby I'm addicted,

I've never felt so free,

You are my life and I can do anything,

When you're standing next to me

My heart is in your hands,

My body, spirit and soul,

My light in the dark of the night,

The place that I call home."

Thanks in advance,

Wolfy :pride

Another poem - man I'm crearive tonight! :lol

A moment of clarity on the path of love

The anger clouds my vision but only briefly,

A brief moment of clarity as I begin to see,

What you are, what you were,

Just exactly what you mean to me.

How you do this to me, I do not know,

I’m putty in your hands,

The words I cannot find to explain,

I bend to your will, your wish my command.

And you know that its love, and it’ll never be easy,

But with you I can take on the world,

As one, together,

There’s nothing they can throw at us that we can’t weather.

I’ve said all this before; I’ll say it again,

It can never be said enough,

I’ll continue to write poetry, songs, sonnets, shout it from the rooftops,

Because baby, this is love.

Laura, I must say, you give me warm fuzzies!

Gahh!

They were beautiful, so much love!

Enought to make you gag, if you're a weakling. I AM STRONG! Love is a great thing, and now we've both found it. I'm just so damn happy.

Lovely. And just remember my cure for lack of your lover

Hey Wolfy, great two poems. Not sure whether it's just me or something, I felt as though the first one had an underlying feeling of bittersweetness. Maybe it's just the first two stanzas or something :) Very charged up on emotions and feelings, the second one was just so sweet :heart Keep up the lovely work :clap

Pin your Colours

Tell me your fantasies, I'll tell you my dreams,

The start, the ends and all inbetweens,

Tell me your sorrows, I'll tell you my pain,

Pin your colours to the mast and I'll try to live again.

Tell me your temptations, I'll tell you my sin,

I'll tell you my weaknesses, I'll let you in,

I'll tell you my truths, you tell me your lies,

Pin you colours to the mast and I'll sever all ties

Tell me your thoughts, I'll tell you my fears,

My range of opinions formed over the years,

Tell me your secrets, I'll tell my desires,

Pin your colours to the mast and I'll extinguish old fires

Tell me your secrets, I'lll tell you my lies,

Pin your colours to the mast and I'll say my goodbyes...

Don't

Don't turn around,

Because I can't bare to see

The look in your eyes

The one which says that you meant

Every word that you said to me last night

Don't say a word,

Because I won't be able to let you go

I don't know how I'm doing it now

Barely holding everything in

As I watch you go into the sunset for maybe the last time

Don't try to explain

Because I've heard it all before

How many times are you going to say you're sorry?

It says so much but means so little

Words of empty promises and shattered dreams

Don't try to make this easy

Because it isn't going to work this time,

I've been here too many times before,

Felt the sting of pain, the bitterness of tears,

The emptiness of love, once mutual, now unrequited,

As I try to move on once again

I'd Like to Say...

Postby wolfwynd » Wed Mar 10, 2004 4:35 pm

Another poem of mine... 6 weeks and still no better **sigh** still we survive right? :ashamed

I’d Like To Say…

I’d like to say I’m okay but I’m not

I’d like to say I’m happy but I can’t

I’d like to say that I can move on, but I can’t,

Because I’m still so in love with you

I’d like to say that I can forget, but I can’t

I’d like to say that it was for the best, but I just can’t see that,

I’d like to say everything’s going to be okay, but it isn’t

Because I still need you

I’d like to say that I will find another, but all I want is you,

I’d like to say that I will survive, but I feel like giving up,

I’d like to say the pain will heal but it’s so hard,

Because I can’t get you out of my head

I’d like the say that anger will lift,

I’d like the say the confusion will settle,

I’d like to say that I will love again, but I can’t

Because you still mean the world to me.

Alice Louise Hall, my love and my life... always :luv2

Have You Ever?

Have you ever wanted someone so bad,

That your every thought is of them?

That everytime you close your eyes all you see is them, you feel them?

Your every thought is of them?

Every breath, every word?

Have you ever wanted someone so bad,

Needed them with all your being?

All your heart and soul?

Ever needed someone you could never have?

That elusive happiness just out of reach?

Is it really better to have loved and lost, Than to have never loved at all?

Well I have, and now I must move on once more

New poem...

Night-time

Night-time comes along with thoughts of you,

A blackness askin to that of the soul,

Lost to what I want, a slave to what I need,

Addiction runs deep within these veins.

I try to block you out, but you are all I see,

Stirs the river of lust within but leaves me wanting,

Never to be one with you again.

Tell me what to feel, because I feel nothing,

Lost in the shadow of the person I once was,

Confused, angry, twisted emotions that swell,

Hard to shake, hard to let them go.

Posessed by thr demons thst plague my thoughts,

That although at bay by day, assend at night,

Always there, just beneath the surface,

That strike without warning and leave destruction in their wake,

Of that which was once my haven, but now a shell,

Of the night-time demons and the thoughts of you

How?

How do you watch the one you love walk away?

How do you tell your mind not to think?

How do you tell your heart not to want?

How do you tell your lungs not to breathe in,

That which kept them living day after day?

How do you tell your fingers not to reach out,

And touch the body you know so well?

How do you tell your soul to forget,

When its other half has walked away?
