There's a poll at CNN (www.cnn.com) about gay couples and whether they should/shouldn't be able to adopt.

Since we all know the answer to that (imagine... Tara and Willow adopting Dawn... hummm, maybe not ) please, do participate and click "yes".

Last time I checked, there was a slight advantage to "No", but I know the kittens work magic

I also voted. Having been adopted, I cannot stress enough the importance of there being an abundance of loving families willing to adopt.
In a time when the government wants to cut funding to pro choice programs. It seems very ignorant of %53 of the people to think that a gay couple could not offer the love, support and family outlet to a child that is need of a home.

Yep. I'm lazy as well. And adopted. Very pro adoption. Children need a warm, loving, supportive enviorment. That's all that matters. Why do people think that being gay makes someone less qualified?

Maybe I'm just dumb, and I'm looking in the wrong place, but the poll halfway down the page to the right asks the question "Do you agree with the life sentence of Andrea Yates?". Am I looking in the wrong spot or have they changed the poll already?

There's the URL for the poll. It seems to still be active. When I voted it was a 52/48 split against gay adoption.
