Well, I too, was just FINALLY able to see the 'Lost & Delirious' clip and it is so beautifully done. I haven't seen the movie yet so as soon as I watched the clip I rang around and it hasn't been released in Aus at the cinemas and isn't on DVD or VHS here either, so *sigh* looks like it'll be a long wait for me...I knew I shouldn't have watched the clip, if I knew there was very little chance that it would come out over here.
But anyway cheers to Sarah.B!!!

Well my DVD arrived today from Play24/7.

I've tried three times to watch the music video and it just won't work for me... even after I've got what you said I needed to play it. I'll give it one more try and hope that it's fourth time lucky.

Well, after downlading the latest Divx codec, deleting the old L&D file, and downloading the clip again, I finally got to see it. Very impressive. Thanks to the kitties who offered assistance, and to Sarah-B for making a great clip.

Sorry to bump this thread but I just HAD to comment on this film. I finally saw "Lost and Delirious" after spending 3 hours downloading it off Morpheus... and golly... I had a pain in my gut throughout this whole film. I guess, growing up gay, i'm not really used to seeing my life experience being so closely represented on film. I'm more used to having to translate the film for my own experience and feelings. But golly...everything, the private girls' school, making a lover out of your best friend, and then breaking up when you are not the one doing the breaking, being romantic to a fault... it was just too much. Too real for me. I was a little disappointed though that they just fell into stereotype with the ending. I can't believe Piper Perapo went from this to 'Coyote Ugly'...

Anyway, just had to share that. It's a great film, if not a tough one, to watch.

Well, Morpheus is a file sharing program like Napster was, download that from here http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-18 ... 00-6525083

Then it's just a matter of searching for "Lost and Delirious". The film is in 2 parts so make sure you download both, about 190MB each, and is in .avi format, and you need the divx codec... PHEW! I played it through Windows Media Player.

By the way, when I said three hours, that was for a cable modem. I don't know how long it will take with a 56KB connection. Sorry.

Good luck though :-)

I don't want to even begin to think how long it would take to download on this thing. But it looks like I'll be "borrowing" dads computer later this week
Can't wait to see this movie/Can't wait to see if my comp will DOWNLOAD this movie!!

Well, technically, Piper Perabo went from Coyote Ugly to Lost and Delirious, so it's not like she was selling out or anything.

Um... Piper Perabo (sp?) went from Coyote Ugly to the Rocky and frickin' Bullwinkle movie to Lost and Delirious. Hehe. Selling out wasn't even an issue anymore. But hey, it's a business. You take what work you can get sometimes, especially when you're starting out. So go Piper with your bar dancing, strutting, wetly clad, gyrating hips, sultry shy grinned... oh my... I dazed off there for a moment. Mi' bad.

<- swears she hasn't watched coyote ugly more than once just to gawk over the girlfleshfest

***Spoilers for Lost and Delirious below, so if you haven't seen it and aren't the spoiler whore kind, be off with you!

Also, not to be a thread pooper, but I'm surprised so many people dug the movie so much. I saw it for the first time last night, and I kinda thought it blew. I mean, sure it was fun in the beginning, and some of the romantic gestures were really quite charming, but overall I thought the whole metaphor thing they were pushing was pretty ill-conceived. And the ending was just a total cop out. Talk about anti-climactic. After all that Shakespeare, I thought for sure that we'd get that final scene of a bloodied and dying Paulie in Tori's arms, the latter finally declaring her love while their classmates looked on, stupefied, forced out of their homophobic, upturned-noses frenzy just long enough to take notice that these two really were madly passionately in love. I won't even go into how wretchedly sick I am of the whole "coming out trauma, lesbo = death" thing. On a five point scale, I'm afraid this Kitty can only give this movie...

I saw this movie just this weekend and I ADORED it, it's so good, and sad, and good again. i love all the Shakespeare! Especially the Romeo and Juliet quote Paulie has on her wall:

My love is as boundless as the sea
My love as deep
The more I give to thee
The more I have
for both are infinite

Arat sevol Wolliw, I love your sig (I'm trying to figure out the correct pronunciation of DOULEUR), and the name. Very clever.

I've asked at Suncoast (video store) a few times and they can't find Lost & Delirious in their computer at all (not even on DVD which is out now), so I'm still waiting on it. Hopefully it'll be available on VHS from the Lion's Gate Films web site eventually.

Thanks Cipher! I'm glad you actually get it, my friend Crystal saw it the other day and was all "Is that some Latin thing?" Needless to say she wasn't having a brain day. I know I rented L & D from Hastings and when I checked their website they said they had it to purchase. Have you tried shopping online for it? I bet you could get a good deal on Ebay or somewhere like that!

If you still need someone to host the vids for you, let me know, I can help you out if you still need it.

Edited to add: Okay, after seeing the great job done on the music vid and enjoying Piper's work in Coyt. Ugly, I ran out this morning and rented the movie. At the very least I can "wow, intense." Thanks for bringing to my attention a good film that I'm sure I will watch again tonight when my g/f gets home.
