Okay I loved the episode, I loved the singing and Tara looked so beautiful. She always do of course but in particular this episode.

I loved when she joked about being cured. hehe!

I love the singing, and it was cool how they had so many messages.

Willow's face when she found out Buffy was in Heaven. Alyson is amazing.

Is Tara going to leave for a bit? I hope not. This is one thing I really wish was cleared up more. I don't want to read spoilers but I so need to know this. *Note: Not asking for spoilers in this thread*

Giles finding out he has to go so Buffy will learn to move on.

I loved the episode, W/T are amazing.

I'm just so worried about W/T. I'm just trying to remember what Joss said in interviews and hopefully he won't let us down with W/T.

I don't know how I feel about the ending. I'm so conflicted. I hate it in one way and understand it in another.

Either way, Joss is amazing. Directing and writing this episode. Wow! I wish I had an ounce of his talent.

Amazing episode, Joss did a great job, he wanted to do a musical and he succeeded big time.
I won’t put down the lyrics since we already have the ones for the love song and the T/G duet
And YAY!, ASN didn’t cut the episode either.

So here are the W/T bits…

W/T are getting up, Willow’s running around and Tara’s making the bed when she finds the dried flower under one of the pillows, she just smiles and smells it.

When they all start to sing at the Magic shop, Xander sings about his theory that it could be witches, W/T give him a look, he backs off right away. When they all start singing together, Tara has her arm around Willow and she’s rubbing her side.

W/T giggling in the Magic Shop, this is such a cute scene, they’re in a big hurry to get out of there, let me tell you

The love song, this was even more beautiful than I expected and I had high expectations, when they get to the bedroom, Tara gives Willow a “look” and Willow returns that “look”, Tara lays back on the bed, Willow moves over her, looks her in the eyes and then goes downtown as Tara sings the “you complete me” part and starts to float above the bed, her expression reminds me of Willow’s expression at the end of the Flaming O Spell

The scene cuts abruptly to Xander talking about knowing what W/T are really up to, he sees Dawn and stops, she tells him that she knows and she thinks it’s romantic.

Back at the house, Dawn’s in her room, Tara walks in and they talk a bit, Dawn says that she’s happy that they made up and aren’t fighting anymore, Tara is confused, saying that Willow and her never fought but Dawn just keeps on talking about how great they are together, Tara takes the dried flowers that were pinned on her shirt and looks at them, she looks worried, she tells Dawn that she needs something at the shop.

While Giles is singing about Buffy, Tara walks in the shop, Willow is there but she doesn't see Tara, Tara looks really worried, almost crying, she climbs the ladder to the balcony on top, she’s looking in a book and sees that the flower she has is used for forgetting and mind control spells, she starts to sing and is joined by Giles, as they sing, Willow walks in and starts talking with Buffy, so Tara and Giles look at Willow and Buffy as they sing. (very very sad scene )

Spike walks in with one of the minions of the head demon, Giles and Tara walk up to Willow and Buffy, when Willow sees Tara, she says “Tara” but Tara just looks away, Willow looks confused and hurt.

When Buffy’s singing in front of the head demon, the gang runs in, and Giles tells Anya and Tara that Buffy needs back up, so they go dance with her, she keeps singing but then the tempo changes and Buffy sings about being in heaven, the gang is in shock, Willow looks devastated, Tara wants to comfort her, she goes to put her hand on her shoulder but turns her hand, so the outside of her hand is touching Willow’s shoulder, but later on she does have her hand on Willow’s shoulder. Willow tells the demon to go, he tells her he smells power. They sing the last song and that’s the end.

If I remember anything else, I’ll add it later.

Thanks Brian and RB for the quick reports!

Brian, did the demon line about smelling Willow's power seem significant in any way? Just curious.

Thanks again!

RomanceJunky…I edited my post to say that Tara wasn’t crying but she was on the verge of tears.

Scout…it didn’t seem like a big deal but I’m sure it was a way of letting the viewers know that Willow is indeed very powerful.

FYI, just posted my Willow Filk song "Under Your Skirt" on the Pens board and in the OMWF Multimedia thread here. If anyone's upset by the ep, this should cheer you a bit.

Thanks Brian! This episode just sounds in-freakin-credable...I'm so-o-o-o-o ready to see this!

The Junky...is it tommorrow night yet???

Oh, does Willow notice Tara's hesitation to comfort her, or is she still just totally blown away by Buffy's revelation?

Thanks Brian for your report. I just know I will love this, angst and all. The dried flowers indicate that the forget spell was premeditated and not done on impulse as I had hoped. Poor Tara, but poor Willow as well. I do not want them to get hurt, and I cannot wait for the day this will be behind them.
I love that we get to see Tara reach the flaming O this time. This sounds like one of the naughtiest scenes in Buffyverse so far.

I'm still not necessarily sure the forget spell was premeditated. I think it's possible Willow discovered the spell in a book, got some of the herb to try it out sometime, and thus simply had it available after the big fight. That may also be denial, but I'm clinging to it, darn it!

I'm doing this from memory, but wasn't the flower part of a bowl of potpourri. I think Willow did it on impulse, but not out of a sense of panic as I had hoped.

Edited to Add: Yes, it's a tough call Garfield. I just watched the video and the flower was part of a bowl of dried flowers on the dresser. But of course the question is when did Willow learn about this spell and why. But it's hard to know. I wish the new shooting scripts were up; they might help.

I don't know, that would be somewhat convenient. Do you suppose she would have told Tara is she wanted to try it out? I do not think Tara would have volunteered. I wish it were not so, but I still think it was premeditated. I am not 'condemning' Willow though (I think I will have to make that my sig. Heh heh.), but I cannot excuse her actions either.

Editing: Scout, if I read this right, the flowers were needed for the spell, and Tara went to bed before her, so Willow must have put the flowers there before, but I have not seen the ep, maybe I misunderstood.

Heh, maybe I should clarify my statement. I didn't mean that Willow found the spell and was planning on trying it out on Tara, or that she would ask to do so. I meant that she was going to try it out on *someone* in the future, and after the fight, it just happened to be Tara. In spite of the dark roads Willow is heading down, that actually makes more sense to me than "I shall prepare this so in the future should I have a fight with Tara, I can erase it."

Subject: Wildfeed for "Once More with Feeling"

Wildfeed Summary for Buffy the Vampire Slayer
"Once More with Feeling"
Episode #: 6ABB07
Total Running time: 50:52

Hey, gang! I'm going to present this "sans lyrics" because to print all the lyrics to each song would get this sucker out many, many hours from now. I'll MIGHT come back with the complete lyrics to each song after this summary, but don't expect them for a while.

Note: The entire episode, including the "previously" clips, are in Letterbox format.

Previously on Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Spike telling Buffy he loves her and her disgusted reaction, Willow casting the ressurection spell and Buffy's corpse becoming whole, Buffy telling Spike she was in Heaven and saying her friends can never know, Dawn lifting the coin from the magic box, Giles expressing concern over Dawn's actions and Buffy being glad he'll "take care of it, Pirate Xander and Roller Anya announce their engagement, Willow and Tara's "too much magic" fight and Willow's forget spell being cast.

Immediately into some very telling opening credits… this is going to be a very special show! "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is worded out in red letters, but in a classic 60's style, superimposed over a full moon which is off to the left. The moon frames each of the cast as they are introduced in the usual order. Nerf Herder's theme is re-done in a sweeping orchestration reminiscent of a Rogers and Hammerstiens musical opening.

Commercial break: Eveready batteries just keep going and going and going…

AND, for the first time ever, we actually see the title of the episode, "Once More, with Feeling" brazen across the screen! A beautiful orchestrated opening has the camera slowly pan down on Buffy's alarm clock as it goes off. Buffy turns it off and sighs. It's morning at the Summers place, and with a montage of music to come playing over the scenes, we see Willow and Tara getting ready from their morning rise, straightening the bed, etc (during which Tara lifts a pillow and finds the small dried flowers Willow used for the forget spell. She smiles as she sniffs them. Dawn knocks on the bathroom door until Willow comes out. Buffy's still lazying in bed.

At the Magic Shop, Xander and Anya are reading a "Tomorrow's Bride" while Giles silently rebuffs Dawn for reading a book she probably shouldn't be reading. Willow and Tara are doing something akin to research while Buffy sketches in a chair until Giles walks up with a huge battle axe, motioning that it's time to get to training.

Later, Buffy walks alone in a Graveyard as the "opening number" begins. Buffy sings of "going through the motions" while she calmly, almost with a sense of boredom, as she punches, and fights a few vampires and one odd-looking horned demon that looks a little like "Goat Boy" from SNL. At a few points, the vampires and demon sing and strut along to the musical number. After vanquishing the bad guys, she walks up to a tree with a sword and cuts a tied rope which releases an up-till-now unseen handsome "victim" who tries to thank her but she walks off uncaring.

"Good morning Buffy" Giles says as Buffy walks from the bright outside into the Magic Box. Tara and Willow ask if Dawn got off to school ok. Buffy answers, but she's not quite herself, walking up to Xander, Anya, and Giles over the book-research table. She asks if anything is up, wrong, or whatever. She then asks, uncomfortably, if anyone… Burst into song last night? "Merciful Zeus!" Xander answers! Tara and Willow run up "we thought it was just us!" Everyone had the same strange goings on, like they were in a musical. Xander thinks it's quite disturbing and that they should look into it. Then Giles sings "I've got a theory" Giles theory: Dancing demons. Willow's theory: Trapped inside a child's broadway nightmare. Xander's theory: Evil witches (which he quickly recants, having seen the looks on Tara and Willow's hurt faces). Anya's theory: Bunnies (to which she proceeds to really belt out a hard-rock explanation on the evils of cute bunnies, done MTV hair-band style) "or maybe midgets" she adds at the end, embarrassed. All start to sing about working the theories out, then Buffy interrupts with "what can't we face if we're together?" She sings with all of them about being able to beat all if they all are together, it's worked before.

The music stops and all are aware of what happened. Xander says it's weird. Buffy asks what to do now as Anya asks if it's just them? Buffy walks over towards the door and peeks out to see an elaborate production of "some guy (one of the crew… I forget who. Anyone know?)" singing "They got the mustard OOOUUUUT!" with big music and many dancers and such.

"It's not just us" Buffy frowns as she closes the door. The door opens again with a giddy Dawn entering, telling them to guess what happened at school earlier. They naturally guess correctly that lots of singing occurred. Lucky Dawn, she got to sing about… math. During Dawn's explanation, Willow and Tara are whispering and giggling, then they both blurt out hurredly that they might have some books back at their room to help and make a nervious, silly, "hasty" exit (during which Dawn sees a magical-looking pendant on a nearby countertop and, naturally, swipes it).

Walking in a park, Willow talks of not wanting to be all cooped up on a beautiful day. She and Tara walk hand in hand while two guys walk by and look Tara up and down. Willow notices the two cute guys checking Tara out and points them out. Tara questions it, but then, after some quips from Willow, Tara smiles in surprise "Oh my god… I'm cured! I want the boys!" and she turns to run after them before Willow grabs her. They both laugh. "Under your spell" begins with Tara singing to Willow about how magic their love is. Two nearby picnic-ers join Tara briefly in a dance. The two Wiccas join hands and spin… winding up in their bedroom. Tara continues to sing to Willow, and she gets that "look" in her eye. Tara lays down on the bed, Willow briefly goes above her, then… um… "disappears" out of camera shot down by Tara's waste. Tara still sings as she slowly starts to float above the bed. She sings (now get this…) "You make me commmplete… you make me commmplete… you make me…"

Abrupt cut to Xander hinting to Buffy that the two Wiccans aren't really doing research. Xander starts to say what he thinks they're doing, but then sees Dawn off to the side and backpedals, saying they're probably… dancing. Dawn reassures Buffy and Xander that she knows, and that she thinks it's romantic. The two of them singing and dancing, what could be wrong?

Cut to a darkened alley with a man furiously tap dancing all alone. He's doing some great tap steps before he starts really starts smoking… literally! He soon smokes, then bursts into flame, then collapses. The camera pans back to see a new Demon smiling evilly… "That's entertainment."

Commercial break: SAVE on long distance calls with 1-800-GET-REAL

Xander and Anya lay in bed as Xander plans breakfast. Apparently he's home from work… seems as if his construction crew started dancing around him and he couldn't handle it. They start the "I'll Never Tell" duet, in which both state their many concerns about the impending nuptials and married life. Before their big dance number, Xander picks up a paper with the headline "Mayhem Caused: Monsters certainly not involved, officials say." THEN Anya starts to break out in a flapper dance… more singing and dancing. Xander worries if he's marrying a demon, Anya worries how she'll look when she's older. The number ends with neither of them "telling", collapsing, laughing, in a chair.

On a sunny street, Xander and Anya walk with Giles. The couple lightly argue with each other and vent to Giles at the same time. Seems as if they DID tell all their fears in song! As they walk, they encounter the occasional person singing, humming, or dancing. Briefly taking forefront is a woman (Marti Noxon?) who sings/pleads with a cop not to give her a parking ticket. Back to the trio, Giles hints that he has a lead… some corpses have been found all burned and charred. He mentions that Buffy is also checking out all the local Demon haunts, but he's concerned that she's not acting herself. Xander chalks it up to her still not being totally with them, suffering the after effects of being pulled back from a demon dimention.

Buffy walks into Spike's crypt. Spike says he knew she'd be showing up sooner or later. Weird things have been happening the past two days, but he says proudly that he is "immune", not having sung anything. He offers her a shot of booze which she refuses (remembering back to her experiences in "Flooded" perhaps?). She asks if he knows what's going on, who's responsible, and he gets hurt, wondering if that's ALL she's there for, to pump him for information again? "What else would I want to pump you for?" she asks? "I really just said that, didn't I?" Spike acts in a bad mood, short, tries to get her out. She asks why he's in such a bad mood. Spike… breaks into song! (surprise!) "Let me Rest in Peace" he belts out. He sings that she's scared… scared of her true feelings for him, scared of her true feelings for life, and the secret the others don't know about. He then wishes her gone, to basically be out of his life because it hurts too much. He feels she likes toying with him and it hurts. During the number the two move from the crypt to the graveyard where he disturbs and trashes a night-time funeral (huh?). People go scattering. The song ends with the two falling into an empty grave, Buffy on top of Spike. Buffy becomes flushed, vaults out of the grave and takes off running. "So, you're not staying then?" Spike asks…

Dawn dumps her purse on her bed when Tara comes and asks about her day. Tara tells Dawn that Willow may have a lead on the demon that's doing this. "Some sort of Lord of the Dance… uh, but not the scary one… just a demon." Tara acts all proud of the research Willow's done so far, to which Dawn says that she's happy Tara and Willow aren't fighting anymore. Tara acts confused, but Dawn continues, saying she doesn't like to see the two of them fight, and she's happy they're good again. Tara takes the dried flowers that were pinned to her shirt earlier and thinks, looks worried. Tara rushes off late at night to do some spur of the moment research. Dawn, alone, looks in a jewelry box and takes the recently stolen pendant out and puts it on. Looking somber in a mirror, she starts to sing "does anyone even notice… does anyone even care" as three demons sneak up behind her and grab her! She screams as a sack is thrown over hear head. The demons look like New Orleans carnival costumes.

Commercial: Windex makes it SHINE!

Dawn wakes up in a deserted Bronze. An orchestra piece starts and she does a dramatic ballet style dance where she is trapped by the three kidnapping demons. She spins, she jumps, she tries to escape, but the three demons bar her escape. She is frightened and confused, then is thrown to the feet of… THE demon! A slick looking devil-dude in a full zoot-suit (first red, then blue). The slick demon sings of Dawn having summoned him and now he's gonna make everyone truly sing their cares away! He also sings that Dawn is now going to be his bride, his queen, back in his demon dimension. She retorts that she's a bit too young, and that Buffy will miss her. She says the word "Slayer" and the slick demon reacts, telling his minions to go to the Slayer and tell her everything… he wants to see the slayer burn!

CRACK! Buffy kicks a board in two as Giles says "good!" In the middle of a training session, Giles hints he wants to work on her agility, then he also asks if Buffy has talked to Dawn yet. Buffy says "oh, I thought you took care of that? What would I do without you?" Buffy stands on her guard, saying she's ready. Giles starts singing "you're not ready for the world outside" as the agility training begins. He throws small throwing knives at her as he sings about Buffy hiding from responsibilities. She moves in slow motion, doing kicks, dodging knives, and doing flips as he sings about wanting to take care of her as a father, but knowing that it is holding her back, not letting her encounter the real world.

During his song, Tara walk into the Magic Box, looking very worried. She climbs up the ladder to the upper balcony.

Giles ends his song as Buffy's movements come back to "real time." "Did you just say something?" she asks him. She didn't hear his song…

Tara looks in magic book and sees a picture of the three-stemmed dried flower she holds in her hand. The book says that it's "Lethe's Bramble. Used for augmenting spells of forgetting and mind control." Tara starts to sing sadly about truly being under Willow's spell, feeling hurt, betrayed. Giles walks in and joins her in song. They both sing the same song but slightly different verses, with Tara singing of her love for Willow betrayed and Giles singing of his having to leave for Buffy's sake. They both sing on as Willow and Buffy talk at the other end of the Magic Box. Both sing of leaving.

The door bell rings. Spike comes in with one of the minion demons by the neck. "He's got a nice little story for the Slayer… come on now, sing!" BIG musical build up for the demon to tell his story… only to have him speak it, plainly, bluntly. He says that his Master has Dawn who is to be his bride and that he wants Buffy to come to him. He wrestles free of Spike's grasp and takes off out the door.

Buffy sighs "So, Dawn's in trouble… it must be Tuesday."

Buffy asks what they should do. Xander wants to mount up and attack, but Giles disagrees, saying that Buffy should go alone. Spike disagrees with Giles and tells Buffy that he'll watch her back. Buffy says she thought he wanted her to stay away? "Fine… I hope you burn… you and the little bit" Spike says, hurt, as he barges out. Buffy looks at Giles, unsure, but for some reason Giles stresses she should go alone. "What do you want me to do?" Buffy asks. "Your best" Giles answers.

Buffy stands outside, standing over a flaming garbage can. She starts singing "Walk through the fire," marching off to do battle with the slick demon and his minions. During the song, it turns into an unseen duet, with Spike singing about his confusion, how he is hurt by Buffy's feelings, but torn by his love for her and almost forced to help her.

Then a trio… The slick demon joins in, singing that Buffy is drawn towards the fire. Then, back at the Magic Box, Giles questions his decision in song, the others think they should help in the fight, and all go to "walk through the fire" with Buffy as they march out.

Buffy sings that she feels betrayed by her friends, having to leave her to fight alone. Then a spellbinding combination of singing the same song, with Slick demon musing about Buffy's coming, Spike singing alternately of helping and killing Buffy, Buffy wishing to rescue Dawn, Tara seeing confusion as to her love for Willow, Willow and Giles singing of how to defeat the demon, and the group as a whole marching off to catch up with Buffy, who breaks down a door at the Bronze at the end of the song. The slick demon's lips are seen in a close up: "Showtime…"

Commercial break: Buy a Chevy, darnit!

Buffy walks in and confronts the slick demon, who sit's up on stage with Dawn at his side, like a princess. Dawn insists that she didn't summon him, but Buffy says that's ok, she's not going anywhere… BUFFY is. She cuts a deal with the slick demon: If Buffy wins, he dies. If he wins, Buffy becomes his bride. He asks what if he kills her instead? "Trust me… won't help." The slick demon asks Buffy if that's really what she feels? Buffy opens up with "Life's a Show". The three minions attack, but Buffy dispatches them quickly while singing about trying to live a normal life. The rest of the scoobies rush in to find her knocking out the last minion. Giles says "She needs back-up… Anya… Tara." The two ladies join Buffy in front of the stage, facing the slick demon. Buffy and the two girls do some light dance steps as Buffy continues to sing about family and friends, and life since her return from the dead, not knowing what to be cheerful about. Then she hints that she has been separated by something that was good, and a dramatic tempo change comes. Her friends listen in horror, the slick demon in pleasure, as Buffy sings the truth: "There was no pain, no fear no doubt, till they pulled me out… of Heaven…" She screams, she begs, she sings for something good to sing about! Buffy has had enough… she starts dancing. The music's tempo changes to something rough and rocky as she dances violently. Slowly the tempo picks up and Buffy gyrates wildly. She starts spinning and her very body starts to smoke before… Spike appears, grabbing and stopping her spinning. He sings the cold, hard truth to her: "life's not a song, Life isn't bliss, life is just this: it's living…"

Dawn stands up and we hear a voice from the past from her lips in plain speech: "the hardest thing in this world is to live in it."

The slick demon claps, saying that was a show-stopper. Willow demands he leave, but he says he's not going anywhere without his bride, Dawn. She's the one who summoned him, she wears the talisman (the pendant she took) around her neck. Dawn insists she didn't summon him, admitting she "found" the talisman on the floor while cleaning the Magic Box and… and…

Giles reasons SOMEONE had to summon him from the shop. They all look around until… XANDER raises his hand. He explains he was just nervous and wanted everything to work out, have their marrage a happy ending. Then he turns horrified towards the slick demon "Does this mean I have to (gulp) be your queen?" "Tempting" the demon says. "But I think we'll waive that clause just this once." The slick demon breaks into his farewell song, singing that he had fun hearing their most intimate secrets, it's been a blast, "see ya all in hell." POOF, he turns into a tinkerbell light and swirls off.

Dawn arises and starts singing "Where do we go from here?" Slowly each member of the group starts joining in, but their words still show confusion and hurt at all the secrets revealed. Spike suddenly snaps out of song … "bugger this" as he walks off.

Buffy stops him in the street as we hear the others singing off in the distance. She asks where he's going, he tells her to go back in with the others. She breaks into "walk through the fire" song in combination with Spike singing his "Let me sleep"… the pair's eyes meet, they embrace and kiss longingly as the group's chorus swells in the background "Where do we go from hhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeee?" The scene ends with the two… lovers… kissing as a big "The End" appears, and in traditional musical fashion, "A 20th Century Fox Television Production"

End credits flow by as usual, but with another musical montage of the episode's hits.

And yes, even the Mutant Enemy gets into the act, Singing "Grrrr…rrraaarrrg!"

O'kay- having read that detail about Dawn and Tara's talk. Is dawn implying there has been more than one fight she's walked in on or inadvertently heard? I found myself wondering last week if this had been the first time, now I'm even more unsure. Wow-Even while typing that, there's this voice in my head going-'This is Willow you're talking about, are you nuts!?!' Sheesh, I want off this crazy ride.

I really want to believe it was not premeditated, but how did those flowers end up under Tara's pillow if Tara went to bed first? To me it seems she put them there with the purpose of making her forget the fight. Brian, help me out please, you've seen it.

Watch the end of "All the Way" carefully, and you can see that Willow is holding the flower in her hand as she turns out the lights and gets into bed. She reaches down out of frame, evidently to turn down the covers, but you can see the pillows moving in the background.

It very much bothers me that a flower necessary for a forgetting spell was so readily at hand. I won't say that the spell was premeditated, but . . . it still bothers me.

I'm one for the not premeditated forget spell category. I don't think that willow had any intentions of using a forget spell. To me, willow pretty much assumed that tara would forget about the tiff and all will be well. Willow didn't see it as a big thing to be using magic and so she didn't realise that it would have such a big effect on tara, hence the not needing of a forget spell. That is until later when she sees how much it's hurt tara, so, enter the forget spell.
Anyways, back to what this thread is really about..
Yay for this episode!!haven't seen it myself yet (being an aussie and all) but i have read everything under the sun about it. I think that the effect of seeing question the act of comforting willow is going to be so painful to watch in context of the whole scene. The physical closeness has really been emphasised this season so to have to see tara second guess the hand on the shoulder is gonna make me cry. Although i am glad that eventually shedoes has a hand on her shoulder, shows that she is still there for her.

What this thread is really about? This is the discussion thread, so this is something that can be discussed. I was just wondering. I'll gladly surrender however.

This is how I personally see it. The flowers were already on the dresser. Tara wasn't even sure what they were for, that's why she went to the magic shop to look it up. So Willow must have already known what they were for when she had them, the flowers are used for the purpose of erasing/changing memory, Willow knew this when she did the spell. I don't think anything was planned by Willow, it seemed to me she decided when Tara got into the bed in the last episode and Willow just wanted to make it right. We don't know for sure why she had the flowers for sure.

Now about how I felt about the episode.

The ending was well, shocking with Buffy and Spike.

About W/T. I loved the episode on the musical level but W/T. I'm so scared, when Tara sang the song after she found out about the flower, it seemed she was saying she need to leave. I'm scared Tara will be leaving for a tiny bit to get away, to make Willow undersand. *I haven't read any spoilers so this is my theory and how I felt*

It's hard watching W/T fight, and just not communicate. It feels awful seeing them like this, Willow not really understanding and Tara pulling away which must be so hard for Tara. Tara loves Willow sooo much but yet she knows she can't just ignore what Willow is doing.

It's just hard to watch, especially in this musical episode because of how much the songs show/tell what the characters are feeling. It's like the songs express them even more then facial expressions could ever do in some ways.

Although i am glad that eventually shedoes has a hand on her shoulder, shows that she is still there for her.

posted November 05, 2001 21:55                I'm one for the not premeditated forget spell category.

I didn’t mention it before but I’m glad many others noticed the “was the spell premeditated?” thing.

When I saw the flower under the pillow I wondered why Willow would have brought it to bed with her, then when Tara finds out that it’s used for the forget spell I was more than a bit surprised because to me, the forget spell was totally done on the spur of the moment, Willow just said forget and that was it, it did not seem like a thing she had planned, how could she?…after the little argument in the kitchen in All The Way, they were together, after the fight at the Bronze, I’m pretty sure Willow followed Tara home, so they were always together, when would she have found the time to look it up?

I do believe that Willow probably knew the spell before, not because she wanted to use it on Tara someday but just because she knew it, Willow loves to know stuff. W/T probably have some ingredients in their room for some spells, so these flowers might have been there for some time.

About my feelings for this episode, well sadly, I’m a pessimist, the glass is never half full for me, it’s always half empty, so no matter how great the love song was and how naughty the end of the song was, the only thing I can’t think of is Tara singing the sad song and how anxious I am about the next episode.

So even though I can say this is a great episode and most of you guys will love it (although no one here will enjoy the W/T angst), I was left with a depressing and just plain sad feeling afterwards.

I loved this episode. The love song was great, but now I'm even more worried about the W/T situdation. I guess there's nothing I can do but be worried and wait til next time.

My take on the forget spell - I don't think it was premeditated, because if Willow had been planning it in advance she would have thought to put spells on Buffy and Dawn as well. The way Tara found out was pretty darn obvious.

On the other hand, Willow did seem to know what the spell was in advance, and what flower she would need to cast it. I would compare it to someone leaving a loaded gun in the house and then firing it in a moment of passion. It's not the same thing as loading the gun with the intention of shooting your lover, but your lover gets shot just the same.

Just curious- anyone know about flowers? Wondering what type of flower it was- possibly a Forget-Me-Not?

You see, the thing that bothered me was that the flower was already there. That Willow already had the ingredients and knew exactly which spell to use. All this talk about premeditated witchcraft is giving me the wiggins. It's Willow! You know?
