Love the update, especially research-Willow fighting the impulse to look up Tara's permanent record. Gotta say, though, suspension of disbelief is getting harder. I know it's all taken place over a few days, but c'mon! Two young, hot teachers, and NO students have let slip a 'Ms. Maclay or Ms. Rosenberg' around the other?



Okay, I've vented. Now I'll go back to taking the torment like a good kitty.



As for my moniker, I have seen that fic you mentioned, but had already decided on the name after a comment my dear partner made.

How can a supposedly intelligent person not have figured this out yet. I can't believe Willow didn't get more suspicious with the Maclain mailbox - Maclain=Maclay.



And Willow doesn't have a problem inviting someone she thinks is a student to her house but hasn't made basic conversation such as "Where are you thinking of going to college" yet. But then again, if she asked that then this "who's on first" routine would come to an end. Now if only they had an icon for banging you head against your desk. Of course if you did that then this fic might be over and that wouldn't be good either so I guess I'm back to the banging the head on the desk thought





Since I know your intention is to drive all us kittens crazy with this fic so all I can say is - you're doing a great job (grumble, grumble). And I agree with whoever suggested the visual of you sitting at the computer, stroking your miniature doberman (I think you said you were allergic to cats so I made it a dog) and laughing sinisterly and all us poor suffering readers.





Can't you take pity on us lonely souls, who after a long, hard day at the office (start violin music here) limp home, tired and dejected with nothing but the thought of some vicarious W/T smoochies to get us through the evening

It's refreshing to have Willow's daydream filled with gentle touches and moments all leading to a simple, yet very meaningful kiss. Hey.. I’m not always thinking of smut. Honestly! Umm.. moving on.. Do the secretaries in this school know how to spell? Maclain.. hee! Oops.. maybe there really is a Maclain and that wasn’t a spelling error at all. Maybe Tara doesn’t have a cubbyhole coz they ran out of cubbyholes so Tara was given a pouch or a paper satchel or possibly one of those folders with an elastic band to hold all of her mail which isn’t very efficient since Tara’s immense global fan base loves to write letters quite often and a tiny folder couldn’t possible contain the massive number of different colored envelops she is sure to receive on a daily basis. Obviously everyone in the entire school is clueless! I’m enjoying this fic soooo much. More please!!

I came out here this evening looking for my happy little dose of Willow/Tara goodness and I saw there was an update to this, my favorite story.... I was happy.... Because for the smallest fraction of a moment I thought "This could be it...This could be the update in which our girls finally figure it out...." But was it?....Alas no. *Sigh* (that's okay though Cause maybe they'll figure it out next time! ) *Crossing fingers*

Well sounds like I’m nearing that ludicrous level that someone else said I hadn’t hit yet. But seriously, at many schools teachers refer to the students as Ms. Maclay or Ms Rosenberg or whatever as a “respect” thing. So even if a student let it slip (and we haven’t ever seen them interact with students together have we?), they would probably write it off.

Normally Willow, whose thirst for knowledge is part of why we love her, would have just looked up Tara's details. The fact that she's being so ethical could mean that perhaps she is starting to get the feeling that Tara isn't a student, which would mean she'd have to do something about it and admit how she feels. Or another way of looking at it is that she doesn't want to betray the innate trust between her and Tara. Personally, I think it's the latter.



Of course another reason she didn't use the computer is because you like to torture us!
