Your (least) favourite W/T outfits

Hmmm well I really and I do mean *really* loved the dresses in Family, as I have said before, it makes them blend in together when they are dancing. I loved it.

I also did love the S4 Tara look, hmmm, I love the bad wardrobe as much as the good one, they look gorgeous whatever they wear, heh the muppet outfit (like that term) I linked proves that as well I think, if Willow can manage to look so wonderful wearing *that*, she can get away with anything, and I do prefer her over VampWillow anyday.

Ah the only thing I really did not care for were their slutty outfits in Restless, but that is probably because it was not W/T, it was a Xander fantasy of them. Bleh.

Oh hell YES! That was a truly awful, unflattering outfit. Though I have to admit that I didn't mind the top so much as the combo of that skirt with that jacket. *shudder*

I loved the outfit from 'Superstar' and the jacket was cute and I love them pink trousers she wore in 'Bargaining'.

The worst thing is the outfit she wore in 'Triangle', and the one from 'This Years Girl'.

I have to agree with Tara in jeans...but my all time fav for Tara is that red leather jacket! YUMMY!

Most of the dresses they put Tara in are hideous!

I completely ditto what Dr. G said! I so loved the outfits in Family. From the plunging necklines to when they were dancing they looked like they were one. Breathtaking.

AIEEEEE!!!! MY EYES!!!! MY EYES!!!! You really need to warn people before dropping that link into innocent little threads like this one. I don't think the moniker of the board is in any danger while that episode is still in circulation. Perhaps it was worn as a dare... or a bet... maybe a sponsorship deal for sunglasses, or to remind people that whenever they may be tempted to wear something red, fluffy and hideous that it's always best to just say no.

Many thanks for resuscitating this vital topic btw, clothes hath maketh many an episode and should never be taken lightly. In fact - as above - it's very obvious that some should come equipped with a health warning.

We were watching The Body the other day, me and my gf sitting weepy eyed and slightly hysterical because they'd been allowed to kiss on the BBC at 6.45pm and I had an epiphany. Tara looked absolutely stunning. A pair of jeans, a decent curve-hugging top and some gorgeous lighting. Voila. Instant drooldom. Sadly The Body isn't really an easy episode to rewatch but it's definitely one of Tara's finest clothing moments. There have been so many wardrobe atrocities that we need to truly savour those that are great

I didn't mind the outfit so much, just NOT on Amber. See but then again I *really* don't like our girls in dresses, skirts are generally okay, but then that's my issue.
As for the 'Family' dresses, gah I just don't like them, yes because they're both so beautiful they manage to make them look half decent, but every time I watch it I think, 'There is no way 20 year olds would wear THAT!'
Lol, 'This years girl' is a bad episode clothes wise, huh - heh that's the only episode I don't have.
Oh and the "slutty" clothes in Restless I didn't like so much, though that could have been because of the way Ambers hair was done and cmon is PINK really the colour to use when going for SLUTTY!!

Hmm yeah I loved those dresses in OMWF. When I first saw that pic of them at the table in the magic box, that was truly a jaw dropper. Those lovely fairytale midieval costumes. *sigh* Perfect.

You know, I think it really did not make sense for them to wear them, as everybody else in Sunnydale was just wearing their regular clothes. Granted W/T never wear regular clothes, well not till this season anyway , but these dresses were out of time even for them, and I loved it. I don't care.

I think it was done to add to that fantastic epic fairytale love song Tara sang to Willow. Hmmm I am sure it would have been fantastic had she sun it wearing jeans, but now it was just sheer perfection, all of it.

OMWF, hmm, so I'm the only one who didn't like that yellow top that Tara had then, oh well. And the long swishy cardi at the end of Tabula Rasa. Very dubious.

As for Willow, wardrobe likes her so much better this season, except for that outfit in the bronze during All The Way. (see gif below) Elmo's pelt gets an honourable mention as well.

At the risk of having someone delurk saying I just love Amber Benson for her -uhm- front, I really did not mind that yellow top, it fitted her rather well, but then I also loved the Family dresses, so there.

I still think one of my favourite Tara outfits is the one during the Willowhand scene, a little bit of belly showing and that shawl draped over her shoulders. Hmmm, and Willow, well damn, I think she looked great in that hideous red thing I linked, like Tara, she can get away with anything, but as for a favourite, hmmm well, anything with jeans or that dress from Tough Love and OMWF.

I think that I'm the only one who really loves Tara in Tabula Rasa. In the beginning at the table when they get into that argument, I really didn't like the dress that Tara was wearing, or her hair. But I loved Tara's hair in the rest of the ep. I thought she looke so cute with her hair put up like that. And I loved what she wore. It was so real. Its something that anybody her age would wear. It was realistic.

Ok, so apparently, I'm like the only one that liked Tara's long cardigan thingy. I thought it was adorable. And I'm not afraid to admit (ok...maybe just a lil afraid), that I bought one just like it. Only problem is, I can't find a shirt to go underneath the dang thing. So, it sort of sits at the bottom of my closet in a lil ball. Ok, yea its sad...I know and accept that.

okay i have to say it, I did not like their dresses in OMWF. Willow has a shape and that dress had none. Tara looked good in a escaped from a RenFair sorta way. and i am fairly certain that was why the boys were staring. not that i don't believe in the hottest of amber, cause i do. I do like her in her TR look. Very assertive and sexy.

Well ShaggyKat that might have been the reason you would have stared, but it was made very clear they were staring because she is drop dead gorgeous, no other reason. I will not argue anyone for not liking the dresses, which I loved, but I will argue about why those guys were staring at her.

My favorite wardrobe moment this season didn't come on Buffy - it came on Charmed. There was this one episode where the new Charmed One Paige had on an outfit that just made me think, "Wow! She's been getting her clothes at the same place as Willow and Tara! Do you suppose there's a witch's dress code or something?"

Uhhh... the hat in 'This Year's Girl' disturbed me.

The fuzzy sweater in 'Afterlife' was scary. Aside from the fact that you can use the fuzziness as an excuse to rub your hands all over Willow's upper body. "Mmmmm fuzzy... and soft. Must touch."

I love their flow-y medievil-y outfits in 'OMWF'.

I think that sheet Tara was wearing in Restless was a damn fine costume and possibly my overall favourite (yep, even beating the moon-butt jammies.) The red wine colour set off her skin beautifully and complimented the poetry on her back to a tee. And the fact that she was half nekkid at the time has absolutely nothing to do with it at all.
