Hi, I have been lurking here awhile but have just registered. Dora deMontreal is my pen name (I have just started writing fanfiction and have only posted one story on the web so far). I a 20 something Canadian girly who loves to write. I am a latecomer to the W/T ship--I only hopped on board this season. I didn't dislike them before, but it wasn't till Tara started showing her more passionate and strong-willed side this year that I went--Oh, baby. And promptly fell in love with their love.
I have slo been gaga over Spike since season 4 cause he tells it like it is. But I am not a B/S shipper yet (I just get a bad feeling that that ship is doomed to sink and I don't want to board the next Titanic).
P.S. Don't worry, I won't be write Tara/Spike fanfiction. I don't find that combo realistic given Tara is not into the wood. But I think I might write one where they get together, and have a brutally honest and mature conversation about the others. They seem like the only two of the scoobies who are still not stuck in highschool!

I've been lurking for less than a week and decided to register, given all the time I've spent reading fanfic recently. I am completely floored by all the amazing fic! I laughed, I cried, it was better than Cats!

Anyway, I've been a fan of BtVS since the movie (yeah, I know, it's nothing compared to the series, but I rented it during the week after someone close to me died and I needed something funny and mindless. I watched it twice in one day and it's had a special place in my heart ever since.)

I live outside of Boston, Mass., I'm a Hebrew School teacher, and I'll be 33 on Sunday.

Looking forward to getting to know you all, and reveling in Willow/Aly, Tara/Amber and the rest of the Buffyverse.

By the way, Pixie-muso let me know if I need to change my name. (It's a family nickname given to me by my grandfather the day I was born.)

Am I kitty-ish enough?

I do solemnly swear that I:

1. Nearly screamed the house down with delight when W/T first became a couple

2. Have a boy kitty who I affectionately name Miss Kitty Fantastico

3. Am in love with Tara

4. Cried when W/T split up

5. Grumble at the credits' lack of Amber *every single time* I watch them

6. Am seriously considering creating a website dedicated to W/T (though there are already lots)

7. Remember when the only W/T website was "Roses and Synchronicity"

8. Visited "Roses and Synchronicity" obsessively every other day in case it was updated

9. Have lurked at this board for a very, very long time
