A weapon that promises invincibility. I must have missed this in the spoiler thread or something, because I didn't know that. Interesting. Thanks Ange.

We had an inkling of Warren somehow gaining "super powers" but he is still unable to defeat Buffy.

Hence his descision to go get the you know what and do you know what.

I don't recall ever reading any proof or confirmation about the "super powers" thing, however.

Well, it has the same rating as ep 18. I guess that's a good thing considering what we see at the end of 18 and what we hope we see in 19.

Do most Buffy's get a TV-14? I don't really pay that much attention to the ratings.

We all know the Buffy and Spike scene was cut and edited big time, but there also might be some editing to another scene as well. I just hope that it isn't the W/T sex scene.

The rating isn't what I expected, I expected a S which stands for sex. But, I didn't expect a L for language, Buffy hasn't had a L rating as far as I can remember this season.

The V rating may be for Buffy fighting the Warren bots but I doubt it. I think that is probably for the Buffy and Spike scene.

I heard rumors from the grape vine that Spike may be vamped out during the scene, but I don't think I would give them any credence as yet.

God, I just hope that they didn't edit the fucking W/T scene.

maybe the attempted rape overshadows what goes on between w/t . I hope , i mean that got their attention and they overlooked w/t.. suddenly i am not so hopeful about the sex scene.. sigh

I wouldn't sweat it so much Xita. My curiosity got the better of me and I went back and looked at the beginning of the episode where Buffy and Spike end up -ucking each other against the wall while the house is falling down around them. It was rated PG-14, there was no L,V, SS or anything else, just PG-14.....And that scene was about as sexual as you could get, in a violent kind of way.............

I don't care if Spike vamped out or not. Attempted rape is unacceptable either way.

I never said anything about rape being acceptable or unacceptable, and the issue of Spike being vamped out is completely separate from that line of discussion. If he is in vamp face then it will be the same reason that the writers said in an interview after filming the episode Passion that they decided to put Angel in Vamp face when he killed Jenny Calendar. Joss said that the writers were worried that the audience would never accept Buffy kissing Angel again. So it would have been more for audience then anything else if they decided to put Spike in vamp face.

Kendahl897, in Smashed there was no skin showing at all, not even the Parents Television Council could complain about it. It was purely the work of two extremely talented actors and their facial expressions.

However the PTC did come down hard on the episode Gone because of allusions to oral sex and Spike's nudity.

Thanks

Hmm, see, now I'm concerned about the whole Spike/Buffy thing overshadowing our two girls. Because that not only seems unfair but also like a bloody punishment, seeing as we've had to endure too much Spuffy shagging already this season. Bah. Bad mood approaching.

Here is the rest of the info, same as before. You would think that they would have a warning for sexual content for W/T but no unfortunately they do not. The sex scene is probably covered by bed sheets or implied like in OMWF. Now that you think about it I do hope that there is a much more erotic version of the scene that will released when the DVD comes out. It will be probably be about a year or more before season 6 is released Region 2 in the UK.

Rating: TV-14
Content: Strong, Coarse Language, Violence

And the Buffy and Spike scene in the episode will be very short, not even 3 minutes. At least that is according to someone who claims they have the script. If he is correct then the scene will probably even be shorter then that because it has been cut and edited down.

I'm sorry...I'm just uh...

Well you see, it said "imaginative plot twists", so I was looking for those and instead stumbled on "looks like we've seen it before" kind of thing. So I was wondering where the plot twists are and what have you done with them? Don't hide them from me, I can take it. :rolleyes

The imaginative plot twist must be that W/T sex doesn't involve a spell for a change...

There are two people who claim they have parts of the scrip of 19 that I have chatted with. Neither of them was upfront about things and I wouldnt deem them all that trust worthy. The fact is I do not trust anyone right now, except the tried and true sources. If you want real concrete information, I must tell you that in all honesty I don't have any as yet. Almost all the info I have seen is ambiguous, misleading, or false. Luckily, I am pretty good at separating spoilers by likelihood. Right now I would say that Taras death is 99+% certain, I would say that it is 98% likely that there is no reset this season. However, it still is possible that ME works up something to get Tara back on the show next season. I just hope it isnt as something stupid like a ghost or a spirit.

Interesting that lately I've heard a song played on the radio a few times called "seeing red" (haven't caught the band name yet) and the lyrics have a more than passing resemblance to the way the season is supposedly heading. Probably won't have anything to do with the show but it really wouldn't surprise me to hear it in ep 19. Has anyone else heard it?

Parts is not the same as a script. If no one has seen the whole script it is impossible to say with any accuracy that something does not happen.
