Here in the heart of network television, so many supporting stars are overlooked by producers and end up with pitifully put together wardrobes. Here at Save the Wardrobe foundation, we look to correct this problem--but we can't do it without your help. For just a $20 gift certificate to the store of your choice, your money can go towards buying leather pants, knee-high boots, even a tummy-bearing top for those supporting actresses who need it most. Don't wait--inquire now.

yes and no.

as the title of this website suggests, willow and tara have long suffered from a frumpy wardrobe. I mean, the floral prints are just blinding, and not in that good way. what I plan to do is send amber & aly badass clothing, in a subtle hint to joss that just because they've come out of the closet doesn't mean he should fill it with horrifying pastels

Well Liz,

I personally think that part of what makes Willow and Tara who they are, are the clothes they wear. Clothes can be used to show one's personality. I feel that what you wear is who you are and trying to change what Willow and Tara wear on the show is like trying to change them. I like them just the way they are, bad wardrobe and all.

Even the green turtleneck? Even *gulp* "The Stripe" in This Year's Girl?

And to think of all the wonderful wardrobe opportunities they will have the rest of this season. After the asparagus dresses and all.

My all time favorite still has to be Willow's impression of a muppet in Afterlife.

As someone with excessively, even monumentally and awe-inspiringly awful clothes sense, I'm going loop my arms protectively around Willow and Tara's shoulders, and whisper "don't listen, darlings - they're only jealous they don't get to wear so many wonderful and utterly contrasting pieces of fabric at the same time" into their small and nummy ears.

Come on, now. I know it's only meant as a joke, but all this stuff about the wardrobe is verging on Cordeliaesque (or Verucaesque)!

I love their clothes. For me, it's part of what expresses their characters (which I happen to like a lot ). No changes, please...

The way they dress is part of who they are and I wouldn't change a thing. It's not bad... it's "offbeat". I just avert my eyes when I need to...

My youngest daughter (age 11) saw a red fuzzy shirt and had to have it because it looked like Willow's. But this one has sparkly things in it and looks less like Elmo pelt. The rest of the clothes she picked out look like things Tara would wear. She did that on purpose too. She also had me print out a big picture of Amber to go in the front of her binder. The kid has become quite the Amber/Tara fan.

I'm not knocking Buffy's clothes but I'm glad my daughters don't want to dress like her. Mostly because of their age. And the whole "I'm their Dad" thing. No daughter of mine... harrumph, harrumph...

Y'know ... I just find the fact that they dress so badly to be impossibly endearing. I just can't help it. And it doesn't hurt that they manage to look good wearing the WORST things *g*

That said - I'd love to see Willow dressed up as her Evil Skanky Vampire Self next Halloween episode. It's the best of both worlds *G*
