I'm speechless. I thought we'd hit $6,500 or so. But $8,326.27???!!! That's going to go a long way to benefit a lot of young people.

I'm very, very proud to be part of this board. What an amazing group of people.

I am always staggered by just how much kittens care - and I really shouldn't be because I see it here every day.

Remember that this amazing total was made because of all of you!

So those donations of $10 and $5, as well as the larger ones, all added up. Everyone did something, everyone helped.

This money is going to save lives. This money is going to an organization to help those teens who are struggling to come to terms with their own sexuality and have decided the best way is death.

Well I reject that. I reject the idea that death is an answer to any question. I choose to show that life is more important.

The Trevor Project also believes that. That is why they will benefit from your kindness.

I have always been proud to call myself a Kitten. I have always been proud to be a member of a group that would also have other such great members.
But now I am even more proud.

And shame to anyone that continues to smear the name "Kitten" in public.

I saw the total, my eyes popped, and the words "holy shit!' involuntarily spilled out of my mouth. Awe-inspiring. Amazing. Heartening. An amazing transformation of something terrible into something life-affirming and good.
