Poor Tara being in an accident.Glad she's ok .

:lol Me too. Mario and Zelda all the way.
That was unexpected. Hopefully the doctor can aleve Tara's fears.

Lol, Angel is old school - I like it![]()

I'm glad Tara wasn't hurt worse! Protective Willow is cute, though...

Curious to see how Willow deals with giving birth at home once it's actually happening.

I'm really glad that Tara wasn't hurt worse... I'm glad that they let JJ see that Tara was ok before he left with Buffy... I truly hope that Willow's home birth goes without problems...

Wow, intense chapter! This was really interesting to me because you see Willow's protective instincts surge to the fore - to the point where she actually hurts Tara's feelings by being so critical of Tara's choices but I can definitely understand that!
There is a glimpse of the younger Tara: vulnerable, afraid of bothering anyone with her pain, suffering alone. It was touching to see those elements of her and then contrast them with how deeply she is loved by Willow, JJ, and the rest of their family. I like how you used the accident actually to peel away some layers and see them relating on a very basic level; powerfully done!
I love "the bean" - when I was a little kid I referred to myself as "human bean" because I didn't hear the word 'being' when adults said it around me and of course I didn't know it. So feel free to use any of that if it comes up.

Oh, Laragh! That one had me giggling for sure! Thanks! *wipes eyes*

Tara in an accident?? Noooo!! Too scary :( I'm so glad she wasn't hurt any worse. I can't believe she didn't call Willow sooner. I understand her not wanting to upset Willow and the "little bean" but sheesh!
)I'm curious to see what the doctor says about Willow giving birth at home. I can understand her not wanting to be in a hospital but I hope they get a midwife to be there with them.

Again we see how little misunderstandings can grow into divisive issues if they aren't talked out and both parties are made to see the point of view of the other thus mediating any lingering resentment.
Tara was placing Willow's needs and those of the baby's over her own; trying to face the unforeseen crisis that life likes to throw in when you aren't looking by herself until she was discharged and needed a ride home.
The signifying mark that they belong to each other certainly becomes more tempting as the tedious and tiresome act of having to dope-slap people who can't conceive of two women being in a loving and supportively stable relationship in every facet of their lives. In any other circumstance, I would advocate Willow and Tara slipping each other the tongue just to make the third party squirm but it would be inappropriate here what with Tara concussed; that doctor's loss.
though you’re right, wouldn’t want the doctor to confusion arousal-haze with Willow-haze
It was a very empathic need on Tara's part to have Buffy bring JJ home first so she could reassure him that everything was going to be fine but that mommy needed to rest up from her "owie."

Angel kicks it old school with Mario and Sonic, yay. All of the games out these days seem to all be compensation issues about which character can have the biggest gun.
How about one of those inflatable swimming pools so Willow can give birth underwater?

).
Very cute chapter! And I, like Tara, gaze adoringly . . . Great!Willow took the first seat, sitting down and resting her hands on her swollen belly with a grin.
“Yep, I’m like Pringles! Once you pop, you can’t stop.”

. What a great chapter! I'm glad things look like they will pan out for the home birth
and to have a contingency plan in place for that.”
Willow replied, jumping up excitedly and rushing over to the table, jumping on and lifting her shirt up to just under her bra in seconds.
“Would you like to know the sex?”
"You should put it next to your computer at work so you can,” Willow replied with a wide smile, “That’s what I do.”
“But I may let out a girlish squeal when I see a pair of booties.”
“You’re what they call a Tootsie Pop of a man,” Alice said, putting a hand on Xander’s shoulder, “Hard on the outside, soft on the inside.”

Dibs. Yea!! I'm on a roll this week.
Loved Willow babbling by text. It takes me forever to do a single sentence so it always shocks me when I get e-mail length texts.
What if some of us want to know the sex of the baby? I know that I have no self-control. I'm reading when I should be studying for tonight's final.
Can't wait until next week. School's over so I'll be reading while I have breakfast (at 1pm ).
I'm with Tara - I wouldn't want to know. Good on Xander for being on team don't want to know... Very cute chapter!
a www, that was sweet that Tara didn't want to know. We didn't know the sex of our child because they couldn't tell from the scan, but we were sure it was a boy. So when she popped out a girl, we were pretty shocked.
With that said, I'm on team wanna know. Can you whisper it to me please????
And I, like Tara, gaze adoringly . . . Great!
Really loved the excitement, this brings it all back for me and that was an amazing, special time in our lives.
Liked the group gathering and Super Tootsie Pop Xander!
Thanks so much! Keep it coming!
Holiday Joy and daily joy, too!
Big lol for spazzy excited Willow on the doctor's visit...
I'm with Tara in the Team Don't Wanna Know...
I'm really glad that they found a very good midwife for the home birth and that they decided to keep seeing their doctor at the same time...
But, but we don't get to know either? I'm spoiled, when my sister was pregnant both times we all knew the sex so I got to plan for my niece and nephew .
What a great chapter! I'm glad things look like they will pan out for the home birth
Can't wait for more!
Hey there! Firstly, so sorry for lack of feedback, but honestly, most of them would probably be something like, "that was so sweet" or "that was so hot", and I thought it would get too repetitive, but I'm here reading, and enjoying immensely.
Willow's pregnancy is so fun to watch from the beginning, and almost too realistic. I'll never forget my morning sickness days and the smells, etc that would trigger the not-so-fun dash to the bathroom. Seeing them go through this together just tugs at my heart, cause this is the way it should be.
And oh, the turmoil of deciding on wanting/not wanting to know the sex. When I was pregnant, I didn't want to know myself, but others did, so I told the doctor to write it down (if he was like 100% sure), and I would show it to the people who wanted to know. Well...I have absolutely no willpower, and read the note as soon as I was out the doctor's office door. A surprise would've been great, but I was thrilled to know it was a boy. I should've known by the size of his head on the scan! I'm curious to see if the ones who know will have any slip ups around the ones who don't know, ya know?
Anyway, great job as always. Keep it up. Can't wait to see what's up next for our favorite couple.
I must say that I absolutely LOVE this story. I have a permament smile on my face while reading...well, most of the time. The happiness you convey with reaches straight to my heart. I applaud your wonderful writing abilities.
You are my hero, Doll.
If there is one constant, it is that Willow will have not one contingency plan but three in case the other two don't work out.
I wouldn't advocate the water birth either, it was in a movie I saw once where the woman gave birth in one of those inflatable swimming pools and you naturally say to yourself "Hmmm, that's weird."
Again we see the way in which Willow and Tara's differing personalities come to the fore here as Willow with her OCD would need to know the sex of the baby so she could prepare all of those rotas and spreadsheets focusing on the variances in child rearing in terms of gender roles.
Tara's natural empathic abilities and her warmth and compassion allow greater flexibility and freedom in bestowing love and security upon their baby regardless of the gender.
I have photos of Willow and Tara next to my computer as well; at home mind you in my case since I don't have a computer or desk at work.
I let out a girlish squeal when I see a nice booty like Tara's.
My Tootsie Pop is always hard on the outside when I think of Willow and Tara.

)
Very sweet chapter!“I need some serious cuddling.”
“But I wouldn’t mind being spooned either.”
“Wait, I haven’t sung to the baby all week. Do you mind?”
threw the blankets off to the side and raised the too-small tank top that didn’t quite cover her stomach anyway, under her breasts so her belly was on display.
but stopped abruptly when she felt something move against her hand.
“Those are definitely kicks,” Willow exclaimed excitedly as Tara hummed to her belly,
“We have a family crest?”
but never quite this scenario. I must say I find it quite...touching.
You know, if you take away the needles.”
are you considering a water birth?...“Um, I hadn’t thought about that,” ”
And it would be filled with all kinds of...bacteria from me and.
“I can help you with techniques for that leading up to the birth so it’s less stressful when the time comes,”
“In fact, I helped my sister and her wife deliver their beautiful baby boy.”
Yea for both of them feeling the baby's first kicks (and I love 'You'll Be in My Heart.' Probably my favorite Disney song.)
The midwife seems nice.
Can't wait for the next chapter. (BTW: Breakfast includes two cereal bars and chips if I decide to make it brunch. )

Glad everything is going smoothly for them... Very sweet chapter!

I am oh so very happy they are doing a home birth. It feels as though it is much more intimate that way. I don't suggest there being an emergency causing them to have to get to the hospital...that would just suck. I like the happy things

I'm really glad that the visit to the midwife went very well... I hope they have as easy time finding a suitable birthing group they can join... Extra big yay for Little Muchkins first kicks...

Loved the visit to the mid-wife and the baby bump sing-a-thon. Very, very sweet! The song Tara was singing would definitely make me jump for joy, too so nice choice!
The Mid-Wife is great; loving heart and knows her stuff. They made a great pick.
Then the question about JJ - wishing they could have experienced him growing inside one of them then accepting that he is who he is because of two different parents as well as his current parents. Lovely realization.

Glad to see that Tara is ok after her car got hit. I didn't expect Willow to want a home birth but as long as nothing goes wrong I think it will be interesting to read. Looking forward to the search for a birthing class.
Hope it does turn out interesting
There must be a time when Willow needs comical cuddling as well?

I wouldn't mind forking either or the both of them.
This has to be the most redundant and useless question ever phrased from words being strung together. If the answer 'yes' is ever spoken to this question, the universe will blink out of existence and be replaced by something too ghastly to contemplate.
If Tara put her hand on my chest, it wouldn't be the baby kicking she'd feel moving against her hand, it'd be the little general saluting her magnificence.

That is indeed a milestone as it is the first verifiable physical proof that a baby is growing inside of Willow rather than technical jiggery-pokery ultrasounds.
That is the cornerstone, the heart, of all facets of Willow and Tara; they are the unique union above and outside all others which we can only hope to aspire to and follow in their wake having shown us how to be magnificent.
But it's only a little prick...I don't take it personally.

Until I brought it up and it resonated across the barrier which separates us from the land of fiction.

I have to cross that line into TMI and say that i would pay money to drink Willow and Tara's bathwater
So can I but the difference is I will pay Willow to be her lactating coach and to suckle from her ample bosom to simulate the baby biting and chewing and sucking and coaxing the milk to flow from her engorged nipples.
Someday there will come a initial session where two women who are sharing in the most sacred of life events will not have to even entertain any notion of addressing this non-issue.

“Show me what ya got,” Willow replied, trying to look around Tara to what was hidden behind her back only for the blonde to turn her back into the rails, “Show me. Show me, show me, show me!”
So adorable.Willow was too busy gaping at the garment, or rather garments, she was holding by the hanger; matching black bra and panties, with fishnet stockings hanging a garter belt attached beneath them.

“You could wear granny panties and a coconut bra and I’d like it.”

Hokey smokes, Bullwinkle! Wow, I got so excited I forgot what story I’m in!She squirmed as Willow's hand slipped beneath her shirt and began to caress her stomach.
“Oh, hi!” she gasped, panting loudly as a palm ran over her nipple, then shook her head and pushed at her wife’s shoulders, “Willow, JJ!”
“Playing with the kids next door,” Willow murmured, her lips attached to the blonde’s neck as she took some generous squeezes of Tara’s breast through her bra, then slid her hand down and popped the button on her pants.
Her fingers slipped beneath the fabric and under Tara’s panties, wasting no time in finding the bump in her hot flesh, rubbing over it with a vigorous speed. Tara gasped again but was helpless against Willow’s touch and lolled her head back over the armrest with a long moan.
You are so good at hotness that you could um, uh, make a living . . okay, stopping now! Seriously, no porn career proposed – just a joke, but you do write the W/T stuff amazingly well! And thank you for that! *fans self, drinks glass of ice water* Bottom line (no pun intended,
) GREAT work!
)Smell is real and very sensuous, glad you get it!“I did,” Tara confirmed, taking what was revealed to be a plain black t-shirt from the bag, unfolding it out to reveal the words ‘I Love My Wife’ in white lettering, “I thought you needed an update from the ‘girlfriend’ one. Kinda pointless now, you don’t need the oversized t-shirts anymore.”
Willow covered her mouth with her hands in awe at the gift before dropping them to take it and pulled it over her head.
“No, I love it. I love it,” she replied emphatically, before suddenly gesturing wildly around her, “Wait, wait!”
She bounced over to the dresser and doused the t-shirt with a few squirts of Tara’s perfume before turning back to her wife, bringing the shirt up to her chest to inhale the familiar scent.
“Now it’s perfect.”

And now they have what appears to be a great midwife for the home birth. Hopefully their “little bean” doesn’t decide to be persnickety like some babies can be. And hopefully not difficult either. I doubt Willow would want to go through the 60 hours of labor my sister endured with my nephew >.<
Anya’s “intervention” was pretty entertaining too. Glad Willow has found some comfy and better fitting clothes to accommodate her growing baby bump. Quite curious to know what Tara found for Willow’s birthday surprise, but we have to wait and see just like Willow
