I'm from New Zealand and kinda old and new at this stuff.
I watched Buffy on TV and was STUNNED and horrified by Seeing Red.
I watched a couple more episodes to see if they brought Tara back (I mean hey, Buffy came back twice)
and when she didn't, i just stopped caring about the show.

It wasn't that i didn't like any other characters, i just didn't wanna watch a show that would do that for "Art" or "Ratings" or whatever reason JW had.

Then recently i came across "Chosen" and was totally impressed
read it all through, got into W/T fanfic and found my way here.

I totally understand on the not caring past SR. Not hating on the show, Willow/Tara just had too big an impact on me for me to get past. But then, like you, I found this wonderful place and all was well again

My name is Samantha, I'm 25 and working on my Master's in Public Health, with a focus on HIV/AIDS & sexual health, alongside with health advocacy. I've been a Buffy fan since I was 11, and Willow/Tara really helped me a lot when I was in high school, reading W/T has helped me through some hard times and provided some overall general enjoyment.

Hi guys, I'm Friederike from Germany. I'm 34 years old and fan of the original series since high school (it's called Gymnasium here).

Hello all,
I actually joined the kitten board a little while ago but was finally confident enough to start posting comments instead of just reading all these amazing fics (whew!) and so now here I am finally getting around to the introduction parts. The first time I saw Buffy was a couple of months ago, near the end of the summer (my college roommate convinced me to watch an episode with her) and as it turns out the episode I first saw was Hush and when it got to the laundry room scene I was just like :O...(then I spent the next twenty minutes explaining to my then newly introduced roommate that no I wasn't crazy to suddenly start jumping up and down pointing and screaming at the tv [very loudly] "Lesbians! OMG! they're so gay and cute I wanna die!! yay!!!"...suffice to say I was then out to my roommate [which she took very well might I add]) and ever since then I have been absolutely obsessed with everything and anything Willow and Tara (sigh even their names together makes all gooey inside) and have watched now watched all the Buffy episodes. So when I discovered this site (and jasmydae.com) I nearly passed out from happiness, and also I have now watched every single movie/ tv show that Alyson and Amber have been apart of (and read all of Amber's books). Now here I am baring all my crazy to people who are hopefully as crazy obsessed as I now am (if not this'll be way awkward!), Oh! wait info! about me!! My name is Sina Shorter, I'm a sophomore in college, 19 years old, and living in the good 'ol US of A.Though I have written a novel or two...or six I have yet to think of anything good enough for this wonderful site and Willow and Tara in general but when I do you gals shall be the first to know! well that's all from me for now, feel free to message anytime since I'm on here like alllll the time.
