~Part 46a~~*~*~*~*~*~
Willow pulled up into the drive way and looked over at Hadley. “Okay, now that we got the errands done and over with, why don’t we see if mama is ready.”
Hadley smiled widely and waited for a signal to get out of the vehicle. “Can I go and ring the doorbell?”
“Sure. I’ll wait here.” Willow grinned.
Hadley scooted out of the black corvette and raced up to the door. Before ringing the doorbell, she took a deep breath and looked at herself through the glass window. Turning back, she saw Willow urging her to continue. Checking her hair one last time, the little blonde reached up and pushed the small button. “Evening my lady.” She smiled and held out her hand when Tara answered the door.
“Why good evening little cutie, and to what do I owe this pleasure?” The older blonde teased.
“Mama! The date, did you forget about the date? Are you not ready? Because you look so beautiful with your hair down like that and that dress flows nicely and we said to be ready and are you not ready? Because mommy is waiting for you, I mean us, in the car and-“
“Hadley babble.” Tara leaned down and kissed her daughter on the forehead. “I am ready.” She smiled and took the offered hand.
“Your carriage awaits.” Hadley and her mama walked down porch steps and the walk path, taking their time as they approached the black vehicle.
Willow waited by the passenger door for her two lovely ladies.
“I want to open the door.” Hadley smiled and let go of Tara’s hand, reaching for the handle.
Tara and Willow exchanged soft smiles as the curly blonde opened the door. “Thank you.” Tara softly said as she stepped inside.
Hadley followed Willow to the other side of the car and climbed in so she was placed between her parents. “We’re going on a date.”
“Yea, and I never even got my hello kiss yet.” Tara pouted playfully as Willow shifted the vehicle in gear.
Hadley ducked a bit when Willow leaned over, meeting Tara halfway for a kiss. “Hello.” Willow whispered in a low voice before letting out a small laugh.
“What’s so funny?” Tara raised an eyebrow at her fiancée. She knew when she whispered hello in her low voice, that she closed her eyes briefly and bit back a moan, but was her Willow really laughing at that?
“Nothing is funny, I just, I’m a little hungry.” Willow glanced at Tara slightly before turning her attention back onto the road.
“Well, you’re lucky we’re going on our date!” Hadley spoke up and giggled. “You can eat there.”
Tara stifled a laugh and nodded her head. “She’s right…you could.”
Hadley smiled back and forth at her two mothers. “So…” She clasped her hands together on her lap. “When’s the big day?”

“Is she here yet?” Dawn rushed down the stairs, trying not to trip on her dress.
“No, but she will be so just calm down.” Buffy looked up from her book in the living room. “You’ve been down here for the past fifteen minutes, why not just stay down here and keep me company?”
“I could, but I wanted to make a fashionable entrance when she arrives and where is Faith?” Dawn stood at the bottom of the staircase.
“Well after we got done with you, she wanted to go and see if everything is going well with Tori.” Buffy put her book to the side and walked over to her sister. “Aside from you, Tori is like her only other sister and she really loves the whole family vibes.”
“Well good, because Faith is very much a part of our family, she always was.” Dawn smiled at her sister. “And look, she makes you all happy.” She playfully cupped Buffy’s face in her hands and made baby talk. “Yes, you’re so cute and flushed aren’t you, with your goofy smile-“
“Shut up.” Buffy puffed and swatted her sister’s hands away.
“Okay, I’ll sit here for a bit.” Dawn followed Buffy into the living room and sat down. “When does mom get back?”
“Um…next weekend.” Buffy passed Dawn a magazine. “Look at the last page.” She chuckled.
Dawn took the magazine and flipped it to the back. “Oh my God!” She burst into laughter. “Willow’s high school years…awww, look at her Junior High picture.”
“I know.” Buffy grinned and leaned into her sister. “Read the last comment.”
“When I’m ready to get married, I won’t be afraid to scream it at the top of my lungs.” Dawn read and giggled. “Start screaming Willow.”
“Exactly.”
“Wow.” Dawn went over the pictures. “She’s so natural in all of these.”
“I heard Tori wants to become a model.” Buffy brought up, sitting back into her seat, stretching her feet.
“She wants me to, too.” Dawn sighed and tossed the magazine on the coffee table. “If Tori wants to do that, I’m totally behind her one hundred percent, I just don’t think I want to do that, act maybe, but not model.”
“I understand.”
“Who told you?” Dawn asked curiously.
“Faith.”
“Oh, I’m glad those two are like, the best of friends.” The younger Summer sister smiled.
“Me too.”
“What time is it?”
“Not time yet, so relax.” Buffy rolled her eyes and grinned. “Dawn, why did you get dressed an hour early anyway?”
“Because I was thinking about my hair and make up and then I realized I wanted to make myself natural like Tori and I had all this time left over.” Dawn took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. “I guess I should just relax and stop freaking, huh?”
“Yes, please.”
“Okay…so…have you and Faith figured out when you’re going away to L.A. for the weekend?”
“Probably when mom gets back.” Buffy smiled and looked up at her sister. “Or maybe when mom leaves again so you and Tori have a place to sneak away.”
“Really?” Dawn’s eyes grew wide.
“No!” Buffy laughed and laughed harder when Dawn began to pout. “You’re still my little sister and I have to look out for you, Dawn. I can’t keep an eye on you all the time, but when I can, I will.”
“I know.” Dawn sighed and closed her eyes. “Is it time yet?”
Buffy groaned and rolled her eyes, burying her face back into her magazine.

“So this is what it’s like being on a date?” Hadley asked taking Willow’s hand as they went around the car to open Tara’s door.
“Yes, it is.” Willow smiled.
“Cool.” Hadley opened the door for her mama and stretched her hand out. “Milady.”
“Why thank you.” Tara smiled broadly and took the offered hand, kissing it lightly.
Willow took Tara’s other hand and pulled her close. “Hey.” She whispered.
“Hey yourself.” The blonde grinned and kissed her fiancée softly.
Hadley whistled and waited for her parents. “I’m guessing dating has a lot of smoochie time too.” She giggled.
“Lot’s of smoochies!” Willow swooped Hadley up and her and Tara covered her in tiny kisses. Hadley squealed and giggled trying to squirm away from her mommies grasp, but no avail.
“Stop!” The little girl breathed, her curls flying everywhere.
Tara pulled back and chuckled. “Now, do you still like these dates?” She asked her daughter.
“Yup!” Hadley giggled and was put back down by Willow.
“Miss Rosenberg.” A female came out to greet them in front of the newly opened restaurant. “Please, do come in. This is your family?”
Willow nodded excitedly. “This is Tara, my fiancée, and our daughter, Hadley.” She beamed.
“Beautiful. For three?” The lady asked pulling out menus. “We have a quiet table in the back if you’re interested.”
“It doesn’t matter.”
“Okay, follow me.”
Hadley walked between her parents and observed everything around her. It was rare that she got to go out and eat supper, somewhere fancy, with her parents. “Mama! Look at the big fish tank.” Hadley tugged on Tara’s skirt and nodded her head in the giant fish tank direction. “Can we go see the fish?”
“How about after we eat, okay?” Tara smiled warmly and picked up her daughter. “Pretty fish though.”
“Very pretty.” Hadley agreed.
Willow had two chairs pulled out for her beautiful ladies. “I wasn’t sure who wanted to be in the middle.”
“Hadley can have the chair closest to the wall, that way she can’t misbehave and run towards the fish tank.” Tara grinned at her daughter.
“Hey! I’m a good girl, thank you very much.” Hadley crossed her arms over her chest and sat down.
“Yes baby girl, you are a very good girl.” Willow patted Hadley’s head.
“Oh! A kids menu.” Hadley smiled again and looked at all the pretty colours. “I want Chicken Balls and Chicken Fried Rice.”
“What would you like to drink?” Tara asked looking through her own menu.
“Mama? Is it alright if I had Cream Soda with my meal?” Hadley asked politely.
“That’s fine sweetie.” Tara smiled and winked at her daughter.
Willow leaned over and brushed her lips across Tara’s ear. “Is it okay if I have you for dessert?” She whispered throatily.
Tara held back a groan and nodded her head vigorously. “Oh yes.” She breathed and watched as Hadley shook her head in confusion, not even trying to bother with what Willow had just whispered.
“Good.” Willow sat back with a satisfied smile playing her lips.
The waitress came up with a huge smile on her face. “Is the family ready to order?”

“How did you rip this anyway?” Faith asked kneeling in front of Tori, stitching the seam at the bottom of her dress.
“I was modelling it for Hadley when I tripped.” Tori grumbled and tilted her head back, rubbing her face. “I’m such a clutz sometimes.” She heard Faith chuckle. “Hey!”
Faith looked up and saw Tori scowling at her. “What? You said it, not me.”
“Yea, well you weren’t supposed to agree.”
“Relax, do you know how many pants or shirts I’ve split open during my sweeps at night?” Faith asked, stitching carefully.
“Are you sure it’s because of the sweeps…or because of a certain blonde slayer.” Tori laughed and stopped abruptly when she felt a pinch. “Ow!”
“Watch what you’re saying.” Faith shrugged. “And it’s because of the slaying, smart ass.”
“Okay, sorry.” Tori smirked. “So you sew?”
“I stitch.” Faith threw the remaining thread in the sewing kit. “You know, you’re lucky that I came when I did, you would’ve been stuck with a shredded dress.” The dark brunette laughed.
“You’re lucky I let you touch my dress if you want to be that way.” Tori smirked and hugged Faith as she stood up. “Thank you.” She whispered.
“What are best friends for?” Faith shrugged it off.
“You’re right.” Tori stepped down from her stool and looked at herself in the mirror. “Okay, I think I won’t go with those heels.”
“Good idea.” Faith smiled and headed down the stairs. “You two will have fun tonight.”
“I would like to think so.” Tori sighed and sat down at the kitchen table. “Did you and Buffy go to dances together?”
“Not as dates, no.” Faith chuckled and hopped up on the counter.
“Why not?”
“It wasn’t our thing, okay, it wasn’t really my thing. Come on Hazel, you’ve known me long enough to know that I am not into the whole romantic scene crap.” Faith frowned.
“Well, I did hear about the night you gave Buffy your grandmothers ring.” Tori smirked.
Faith bit her lip and started to sway her feet. “Okay, that was semi romantic, but I’m talking, ‘get down on your knee asking someone to marry you underneath stars and shit’.”
“Gotchya.” Tori giggled and looked up at the clock. “Oh!” She stood up and straightened out her dress. “It’s almost time.”
“It is, let’s get you over to your lovely and beautiful Dawn.” Faith smiled.
“And you say you aren’t a romantic.” Tori chuckled.

“That was delicious.” Tara sat back and wiped her mouth politely on her napkin.
“It was, I’ll have to take you here more often.” Willow smiled.
“Hadley loves those fish.” Tara looked over at her daughter, who was at the big fish tank with a few other children.
“I should buy her one.” Willow thought.
“A fish?” Tara raised an eyebrow.
“Sure, why not?” Willow grinned and pulled Tara’s chair closer to her. She brushed her foot up against the back of Tara’s leg. “I would sure like to swim inside you tonight.” She purred, nibbling along the long creamy neck.
“Mmm.” Tara bit her lip and turned her head to face green emeralds. “Can we go home?”
“I can’t wait until you can move out of your house completely baby.” Willow whispered, her hand falling to rest on Tara’s thigh. “I can have you anytime I want and I can take care of you like you take care of me.”
“Next week.” Tara smiled broadly. “Next week and we’re yours forever.”
“I thought you already were?” Willow teased.
“We are.” Tara leaned forward and kissed Willow softly.
“Okay!” Hadley bounced up behind them. “Sorry to break up the smooch fest, but we still have one more place to go.”
Tara looked over at Willow curiously. “One more? Why Miss Rosenberg, are you proposing again?”
“And what if I was?” Willow stood up, taking Tara’s hand into her own.
“I’d always say yes.” Tara smiled.
“We are going to the-“ Hadley’s mouth was clamped shut by her mommy’s hand.
“It’s a surprise.” Willow stressed and shook her head at Hadley, smiling.
“Then let’s go!” Hadley said through Willow’s hand.
“Yes, let’s go so we can get home so I can make love with my baby.” Tara whispered and grinned innocently.
“Right, let’s go.” Willow quickly said as the family paid and walked out of the restaurant.
