~Part 33~~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Mom, can Hadley, Lily and I play upstairs in my room?” Mikey asked his mother; they were standing in the kitchen as Mikey’s mom made cookies.
“Sure, but only for a bit okay? Once the cookies are done, you three can come eat and then go play outside…such a gorgeous day.” The older woman smiled.
“Hadley, when is Willow going to that country?” Lily asked walking up the stairs behind Mikey.
Letting out a sad sigh, Hadley lifted her head and looked at her friend, “Two days.” She whispered. “But I get to take of Brady and that’s going to be cool.” A tiny grin fell upon her lips.
“I don’t have any Barbie’s, but I do have little cowboys with horses.” Mikey said pulling out a small toy box.
“Like Toy Story?” Lily giggled sitting herself down on the soft covered floor.
“We can make a little town with your blocks you brought Lily.” Hadley smiled. “A whole town for the cowboys and horses.”
“I also have other aminals.” Mikey said excitedly.
“Animals Mikey.” Lily giggled.
Hadley and her friends began to set up a tiny town for their toys, using big blocks for building and smaller blocks for houses. “Do you have any cars?” Hadley asked.
“I do, but cowboys don’t have cars silly, the have horses.”
“I know but it’ll be fun to watch the horses outrun the horsies.” Hadley clapped her tiny hands. It was just the beginning of a fun filled afternoon for the three small first graders.

Tara sat back on Willow’s bed and watched the red head run through lists of clothing and things she needed to bring on her trip to Australia. Tracing her fingers up and down Willow’s naked back, she giggled when her girlfriend shivered every now and then. “My love?” She whispered in thought.
Looking over her shoulder, Willow’s eyebrows rose and she smiled lightly. “What is it?” She asked softly.
Sweeping her gaze up and down Willow’s slim body, Tara bit her bottom lip before crawling up along side Willow, placing kisses across freckled shoulder blades. “Do you know how much I love you?” She whispered against Willow’s ear. “How much you make feel so alive…”
Turning on her side, Willow pushed her papers aside and pulled Tara closer to her, kissing her lightly on the forehead. “What’s on your mind love?”
“Just thinking.”
“About?”
Sighing, Tara let her head rest against Willow’s. “About how much I am going to miss you.”
“Oh Tara.” Sitting up, Willow scooped Tara into her arms. “I wish I didn’t have to go…I wish I would’ve just…told Mr. Caron that he can go to hell…ok, not hell, but I wish things were different.”
“I don’t want things different.” Tara replied.
“What?” Willow pulled back confused.
“If things were different…everything would change…I love what you do sweetie, I love the fact that you enjoy what you do, you have a driven passion for showing your beauty and giving your time to fundraisers and charities…I don’t want to be the one who takes that away from you…”
“But…”
“No, listen…” Taking a deep breath, Tara silenced the red head by a light kiss on the lips, “I don’t want to get into all of the ‘what ifs’, but sweetie, if you hadn’t met Hadley and I at the supermarket that day, where would you be? I mean, would you be on your merry way to Australia without a doubt in two days?”
Looking down at the bed covers, Willow shrugged a bit.
“Will…”
“Yes, I would be on my way to Australia without any doubts, but Tara, I can’t change the fact that we are together now and I’m leaving my world behind…our family…and besides, you and I would’ve met anyways, it’s written in the stars, you and I belong together.”
“I never said we wouldn’t have met, but…if…” Tara stressed.
Sitting up, Willow licked her lips looking down at Tara. “I just…you know…I mean, I am going to miss so much, you, Had, Tori…the rest of the scoobies, Hadley’s play, I was so excited to see her in her first lead role love, I want to see her perform on that stage…” Biting her bottom lip, Willow looked away, not really wanting Tara to see the emotions run through her.
“Baby,” Tara sat up and scooted up to sit behind her girlfriend, wrapping her arms around Willow’s waist, resting her chin on the red head’s shoulder, “Don’t hide from me please,” She whispered quietly, “You know how much we want you here with us…but we also know how important this trip is to you…it’ll be a good thing as well. You’re fulfilling one dream of staying in Australia for more then a couple of days…and when you come home we’ll be here, waiting for you with open arms and baby, that’s when you and I can start our life…we can really make this,” Tara motioned her arms around the room…
“Ours?” Willow asked hopefully. Eyes going wide, Willow had a thought, probably the same thought that Tara had. “Tara…will you and the girls move in with me?” She asked hopeful.
Grinning from ear to ear, Tara kissed Willows ear, down her neck, pulling her girlfriend tight against her. “I thought you would never ask.” She whispered.
“Tare Bear, I asked you to marry me…of course I was going to ask you to move in.” Willow turned her head and found her lips pressed against Tara’s.
“However, I think we’ll let Dawn and Buffy take care of the place while you are gone, they have their heart set on it… and it does give Faith and Buffy alone time…” Tara smiled warmly.
“Deal.” Willow grinned.
Tara’s hands moved slowly across Willow’s stomach, loving the feel of smooth warm skin beneath her touch. “Do you think we should get dressed?” She whispered.
Willow thought about it for a moment, “Well, Hadley is getting dropped off in two hours, Dawn and Tori went to the mall to check Tori’s work schedule…so technically…we have the house to ourselves…” Willow turned around and pulled her girlfriend close.
“Technically?” Tara quirked an eyebrow.
“Yes…Brady is still here.” Willow grinned goofily. “So how about it sexy?” She brushed her palms over Tara’s breasts.
Letting out a growl with a hint of laughter, Tara swept Willow on her back and lowered herself down, kissing the red head deeply.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“I seriously don’t think we should head back to the house yet.” Dawn grinned as her and Tori walked around the mall.
“True, we so don’t need to go there.” Sitting down on a bench, Tori pulled Dawn down right next to her. “Have you ever thought about us…I mean…you know…”
Dawn tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before raising her eyes to meet her girlfriend’s. “You mean…”
“I mean…”
Nodding slowly, Dawn decided to look around at her surroundings instead of looking at Tori. “I just…I don’t think I am ready…I mean, sometimes I feel like I am, but other times,” Shrugging, Dawn let out a long sigh, “I don’t know.”
Smiling softly at her girlfriend, Tori cupped Dawn’s face and boldly brushed her lips over Dawn’s slowly. “Dawnie, I love you and if you’re not ready that is more then okay. I don’t think I am ready either. Sometimes we do get carried away and all that passion flows through our veins, but the reason why we always stop is because we both know we’re not ready.”
“They why did you ask?” Dawn grinned, breathing a sigh of relief.
“What can I say, I am curious that way…and because I just wanted to see where you stood. I daydream and it all the time, I won’t lie to you. I’ll be sitting in class, and Miss Kelly is going on and on about short stories and shit…”
“Did you just…?” Dawn giggled. “Faith is just a bad influence on you.”
Kissing Dawn again, Tori pulled back and gazed into blue eyes. “When the time is right, I promise you, it’ll be perfect.”
“Why of course, I’m with you.” Dawn smiled and leaned in to kiss Tori again, this time they didn’t care if they were in a public place, all the mattered was them.
“Do you two ever breathe?” A voice said behind the bench.
“Lindsay.” Tori pulled back smirking. “How’s it going?” She asked casually, not letting go of Dawn in any way.
“Great!” Lindsay smiled and sat down beside Tori. “My parents are out of town tonight, so there’s going to be a party at my place…you two in?”
Dawn looked at Tori and smiled, “Sounds good to me…Tori?”
“Wait, your mom and sister will not let you go sweetie, and Tara will most definitely not allow me to go.” Tori frowned a bit. “Unless you’re thinking that we lie…”
Lindsay cleared her throat. “It’s all worked out, you two are going to be at my house for a sleepover…we have like, plenty of phones, so if it rings we’ll grab a cordless, bring it into the basement and talk, no one will here the music and such…and if they really want to know why you two are at my place, well because my parents are out of town and I really don’t want to stay in the house alone and you two will not be separated naturally so it works perfectly…what do you say?” Lindsay took a deep breath and looked at the couple.
Exchanging looks, Tori and Dawn both nodded. “We are so there.”
“Yes! Ok, I have to go meet Jerome out front, then we’re heading to pick up some things we’ll need and we’ll see you two say around…eight?” Watching Tori and Dawn agree, Lindsay skip with excitement and hurried through the crowd of people.
Tori giggled and pulled Dawn’s face towards hers again. “Where were we?” She smiled kissing Dawn once again.

“I’m excited about the play.” Mikey said playing in the sandbox with his two best friends. “Hadley, you are going to be the prettiest Angel.”
Blushing a bit, Hadley looked down at her little sand piled castle. “No.”
Mikey looked at Lily, “You too Lily, prettiest Fairy.”
Lily giggled and drove a tiny tractor through the sand made roads. “How come you didn’t want to sing by yourself Mikey?”
“I’m too shy.” Mikey said honestly.
“Well you will the most handsomest boy on stage.” Hadley finally said, she stood up and brushed her jeans of from the sand and went to sit right next to Mikey. “I thought you said you were excited?”
“I am Hadley, but only because you and Lily are happy and excited about the play as well.” Mikey put down his shovel and turned towards his best friend. “My dad doesn’t want me to be on stage…he doesn’t think that it’ll be good for me in the future.” Mikey softly spoke.
Lily sat beside Hadley, listening in. “Why?”
Not knowing himself, Mikey just shrugged and smiled lightly. “My mom said I can be whatever I want to be though, she’s always the nice one.”
Hadley leaned forward and wrapped her arms around the small boy. “It’ll be okay Mike.” She whispered.
“Kids…I made some sandwiches if you’re hungry.” Mikey’s mom yelled.
“Come on, lets go and have a small snack before coming back out and build that city.” Hadley giggled taking Lily’s hand in her own and Mikey’s in the other. The three of them skipped towards the back door laughing and smiling.

Tara and Willow were curled up at the couch two hours later, waiting for Hadley’s return as well as Dawn and Tori’s. Without saying a word, Willow began to trail lazy kisses up Tara’s throat. “I can never get enough of you.” She murmured against the soft skin.
Chuckling a bit, Tara tilted her head to the side and allowed Willow do to as she pleased; after all, Tara was most certainly not going to complain.
The door swung open and Hadley came running through the threshold. “Honey, I’m home!” She giggled as she shut the door behind her. Walking into the living room, she saw her parents on the couch and occupied. Taking a moment, Hadley had considered not to disturb Willow and her mama, but then decided interruption was need. Bouncing on the couch and land softly on top of Willow. “Hi.” She giggled.
“Hey you.” Willow sat up a bit, grabbing Hadley and placing her on Tara’s stomach.
Tara smiled and played with Hadley’s curls. “Did you have fun sweetie?”
“Yes, so much fun. First we were outside playing tag then we went to Mikey’s room and played with cowboys and horses then had homemade cookies, then outside we went to play in the sandbox then inside again for sandwiches then back outside to play again…”
“She so totally picked up your babbling.” Tara accused Willow playfully.
“But you like it when Willmy babbles.” Hadley teased. “You want to kiiiiiiss her….”
Hands moved swiftly to Hadley’s ribcage and tickled her. “What was that?” Tara smiled watching her daughter squirm and giggle.
“Let go let go.” Hadley squealed and tried to move her mother’s hands out of the way.
“Put your hands up where I can see them.” Willow warned playfully.
Tara raised an eyebrow and let go of Hadley, “And what are you going to do about it?”
Hadley smiled and looked at her mama and then Willow, “Willmy?” Hadley’s mood went serious all of a sudden.
“What is it baby girl?” Willow asked taking in Hadley’s seriousness.
“If I wanted to become a dancer, or an actress or something, will you ever tell me it’s wrong?” Hadley’s blue eyes searched for an answer on the red heads expression, but all she found was love and understanding.
“No sweetie, never, why would you think that?” Willow asked softly.
“Because Mikey’s dad thinks it’s wrong for him to be on the stage of plays and stuff.”
Tara furrowed her brow, “Well honey, sometimes parents don’t agree with things that their children decide to do, but Mikey is still so young…I’m not sure why his father doesn’t agree.”
“Are you thinking about becoming an actress or dancer?” Willow grinned, trying to lighten the mood a bit.
“Oh yes!” Hadley got all bouncy again. “Lily, Mikey and I were talking, and we thought it would be cool to do like a show when we’re older, or become models like you Willmy, and then when we are very much older, we can meet other people who are in the same job we are and we also decided that the three of us are never going to split…”
Tara leaned over and whispered in Willow’s ear. “She definitely takes after her mother.” Nibbling a bit on the red heads ear, Tara pulled back and continued to listen to her daughters babbling all the while Willow’s eyes went wide briefly.
The red head grinned proudly.
“…then we thought it would be cool if everyone had horses instead of cars because it would be fun to ride into the sunset like on some movies and cartoons, the Mikey said he always wanted to be a cartoon but I know that it really isn’t possible, but I didn’t say anything because that would be telling him it’s wrong and I don’t think it’s wrong to dream. I was always told dreaming is not bad and…”
