I do apologize that these updates will be put up about a week apart for now. Still recovering but I miss you all, I had to make that effort to finish the chapter. Hope you all enjoy and thank you once again. Enjoy!

~Part 31c~~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Faith sat back and watched Buffy and Dawn take the floor and do a very bad impression of Britney Spears. Her lips twitched into a smile seeing the Summer sister bust Britney moves. Her gaze caught Buffy’s and saw the blonde smile back. Buffy really confused the brunette sometimes. Was she with Buffy? What exactly did that kiss at the Magic Box mean? And why does Buffy hold her hand when they’re patrolling sometimes, yet avoid any conversation about dating…
“Faith, did you want a drink from the kitchen?” Willow asked, breaking the dark haired slayer away from her thoughts.
“Coke thanks.” Faith smiled and turned her gaze back to Buffy.
“I thought you said Faith was a bad ass?” Tara asked Willow as they walked into the kitchen.
“She was… but Buffy is her weakness. Faith has never been in love before until she met Buffy that is. So, she held her guard up and became a hard shell to crack, but as soon as she realized her feelings were strong, one by one her wall fell and she invited Buffy in.” Willow explained buzzing from the fridge to the cupboards to the island table.
“Wow.” Tara smiled at the red head. “Buffy seems to feel the same way towards her. I mean, I know she does, she’s just the one keeping her guard up this time.” She noted.
“Exactly. But I know, this time around, Faith isn’t planning on running away. I believe she really wants things to work between them.” Willow passed Tara a glass of coke.
“And I’m sure things will. True love always wins in the end, and maybe this is the beginning of the perfect end…” Tara giggled. “And if that didn’t make sense, I’m in trouble.”
“Made perfect sense.” Willow whispered, grabbing Tara’s hand and holding it firmly against her chest. “Tara, you are so beautiful and amazing and…”
“So yours.” Tara smiled and kissed Willow softly.
“Mine.” Willow grinned and pressed her body against the blondes, kissing her passionately.
Tara placed the coke down on the table and trailed her hands up and down her girlfriends back. Brushing her lips gently against Willow’s, her tongue trailing liquid fire against the mouth she was possessing.
“You think we can kick the gang out early?” Willow whispered hotly against Tara’s mouth. “God Tara I want you so bad…” She whimpered, feeling Tara’s hand whisper across her stomach inside her shirt.
Tara’s heart skipped a beat and raced. Her want for the red head was so strong at the moment, but they knew this party was on for all night, so their need and want to get a room and make love was highly unlikely. “You know we can’t.” Tara said breathlessly.
“Sure we can,” Willow licked Tara’s neck. “They know I’m leaving soon, they know the timing between us is very much important.”
“Their timing with you is very much important as well love.” Tara leaned back a bit, looking into her girlfriend’s eyes. “Besides, we have the weekend together, you and me… and add a dash of little Hadley and maybe a sprinkle of Tori, it’ll just be the family… I mean, our family.”
“Sometimes,” Willow grinned, “I don’t like when you make perfect sense.”
Tara pouted. “You don’t?”
“Oh, I do, I just mean your heart is so wonderful and you’re always thinking of others, it’s just sometimes I want to be selfish and have only you and me time…”
Tara kisses Willow lightly, running her fingers through copper locks. “I love you so much Willow Rosenberg.” She whispered.
Willow closed her eyes smiling, “I love you too Tara Maclay.”
“Oh come on, share the love.” Faith smirked strutting into the kitchen.
Willow groaned and banged her head softly on Tara’s shoulder. Tara grinned and rubbed Willow’s back gently, looking at Faith.
“Hey, don’t look at me. You asked me if I wanted a drink, I’m just wondering where my drink is… that’s all.” Faith held her hands up, smiling.
Willow kissed Tara lightly on the shoulder before looking at the brunette. “It’s right there.”
“Someone looks a little flushed.” The dark haired slayer winked at the two witches.
“Mama, can Brady and I play outside?” Hadley came skipping in the kitchen with the brown puppy following her. “It’s hot in there, and we need fresh air.”
Willow smiled and kneeled in front of the small blonde. “You know sweetie, I don’t think that’s such a great idea…”
“Oh.” Hadley smacked her head and grinned. “Forgot about the bad guys.” She whispered.
“Don’t sweat it.” Faith straightened up and took Hadley’s hand into her own. “B and I will come out on the porch while you and Brady cool off for a bit.” She smiled at the blonde girl.
Hadley’s grin couldn’t get any bigger at that moment. “Really?”
“Really, really.” Faith looked at Willow and Tara. “I mean, if that’s ok with your parents.”
“Oh that’s fine.” Tara said, amazed by the brunette’s actions. “Right Will?”
Willow was amazed herself, but somewhat not surprised too much. Faith changed, quite a lot really, she wanted Buffy in her life, and Willow could see the efforts and strengths the brunette slayer was going through. “Absolutely.” Willow smiled.
“Yay!” Hadley clutched herself to Faith’s leg.
“What’s going on?” Buffy asked, out of breath a little from busting out Britney moves.
“Come on!” Hadley squealed grabbing Buffy’s hand and Faith’s in the other as she dragged them to the porch with Brady following behind them.
Willow and Tara watched through the screen door as they settled outside, Hadley and Brady running around the grass area as Buffy and Faith sat on the steps.
“I am going to miss this.” Willow whispered, trailing her fingers up and down Tara’s arms. “Us as a family, we’re so used to having each other in our lives everyday, if not here, I’m at your place… it’s going to hurt so much to be without you and Had, and Tori, and Buffy and and…”
“She darling.” Tara rested her forehead against her girlfriends. “Everything is going to be okay. Sure we’ll miss you, deeply, but it’s not your leaving forever.” Tara brushed a strand of hair behind Willow’s ear.
“It feels like forever already.” Willow looked at Tara with sad eyes. “I’ve never felt this strongly towards anyone, I just love you so much, and I don’t want to leave this…us.”
“And you won’t.” The blonde wrapped both her arms around Willow’s shoulders, caressing her neck and back softly. “We’ll call you, you’ll call us… there’s your trusty laptop and you can email, I’m sure Tori won’t mind that I use her computer every now and then. Also,” Tara’s warmth breath washed across the red heads lips as the blonde witch moved a hand in-between them and placed it firmly over Willow’s heart, “We’re there with you, always and forever, and you’re here with us. Every beat, every breath, every flick of your soft gorgeous eyelashes,” Tara giggled softly with Willow, “Always there with you love.” She whispered.
“Marry me.” Willow let the words fall out of her mouth, breathlessly. A gasp left her lips right afterwards, just realizing what she said. Forcing herself to look at Tara, she saw a mirror expression cross the blondes face. “I…”
“Willow…” Tara breathed.
“I… I mean, no, don’t answer me, please don’t answer that… sorry, it just slipped out and I shouldn’t have said that. Probably too fast for us anyways, and bad Willow for saying that. What the hell was I thinking?” The red head rambled on, extracting herself from the blondes caresses and warm embrace. She moved to the kitchen sink, shaking her head a bit.
“Willow…” Tara came up behind the red head and wrapped her arms around her girlfriend.
“No Tara, don’t…” Willow bit her bottom lip, holding back her emotion. “Please…”
“Please what? Please don’t love you? Please don’t comfort you? Please don’t tell you…”
“Just please forget that I said that.” Willow whispered.
“Why? Willow…”
“Because it wasn’t how I was going to ask you, I had it all planned and I wanted to make it special and I didn’t want to rush it at all…” Willow turned around and faced Tara.
Tara stared at Willow, just watching the emotions play across her lovers face and expressions. She couldn’t say anything at this point, she couldn’t say anything to let Willow know what she was feeling. Willow didn’t want to hear right now. Pressing her lips to Willow, Tara let her tongue slip past those perfect thin lips, her tongue found Willow’s and lovingly stroked it with her own. Her hands held Willow warmly, her eyes closed, just every ounce of her helped to hold Willow up.
Willow was somewhat surprised and taken aback by her girlfriend’s reaction, but felt so soothed and calm by her actions. Pulling back slightly, Willow caressed Tara’s soft cheek. “I don’t regret that I said it Tara, I don’t regret it at all. It just wasn’t how I wanted to ask you. And I know I can’t make it all perfect with the candlelit dinner, rose pedals scattered around and soft music playing in the background, but I just need to ask you when I have a certain ring. So don’t answer me okay? Don’t give me your answer until then.” Her smiled lit up Tara’s blue eyes. “And I mean, it will be perfect…with you, everything is always so perfect.” She whispered.
Tara just heard, flat out, that Willow was going to ask her, she just didn’t know when and how. “I love you Willow.”
Resting her cheek upon the blondes, Willow whispered in Tara’s ear, “I love you too Tare Bear.”
In the corner by the door, stood a small blonde looking at her parents with wide blue eyes. “Mama and Willow are going to get married.” She whispered to herself grinning. Before getting herself caught, she slammed the screen door, pretending that she was coming inside. “Mama, guess what?”
Tara looked at her daughter. “What is it sweetie?”
“I’m tired, and I want to go to bed now.” Hadley rushed passed Willow and Tara.
Willow raised an eyebrow and looked at her girlfriend. “Something’s up.” She grinned. “Hadley never wants to go to bed when there’s company.”
Tara nodded in agreement and followed Willow to Hadley’s bedroom. Peeking their heads through the crack of the bedroom door, they say Hadley on her bed with her dream box in her lap.
“I trust thee Goddess of dream and reality, to beckon my soul onto my highest dream and make it true.” Hadley whispered before opening her dream box and placing another piece of paper inside. “Marry me.” She closed the box and let out a long sigh looking out her window and into the stars. “Willow asked her Grandma, Willow asked Mama to marry her. Finally a family we deserve and Willmy makes us complete Grandma. She’s our everything.” Placing her dream box on her dresser, she snuggled into her bed and closed her eyes. “Willow asked Mama to marry her…” She whispered softly before all became quiet.
