Summary: Willow is one of the hottest models in the world. When she comes home for her holiday, she meets a nice family that is new to Sunnydale. Can she find love, and continue her much loved career? This is an AU fic. There will be a little angst between some characters, but nothing big for I want to keep the angst issue light. ~Part 30~~*~*~*~*~*~
“That is so not fair.” Buffy said as she got up from the mat. “You can’t use tickling as a defence act.”
Faith smirked. “And why not? It worked didn’t it?”
“Yes, it did, but still…you can’t go and tickle a vampire or demon and expect them to fall down laughing.” Buffy pouted slightly.
Faith shrugged and hopped up on the gym horse. “Got a point B,” She said thoughtfully swinging her legs. “So…about this date…”
Buffy made her way to the couch and grabbed two water bottles and she threw one to Faith. “About that date…” She sat down on the couch.
“I was thinking… maybe Tuesday night?” Faith looked around the room, trying to avoid eye contact. “Maybe we can Bronze it… get a bite to eat.”
Buffy shifted in her seat a bit playing with the water bottle in her hand. “Um, Tuesday sounds good. After patrol?”
Faith smirked, “Sure… cause you know that’s when we both get all worked up.”
Buffy opened her mouth to say something then closed it again, averting her eyes across the room to the door. “Relax B.” Faith jumped off the horse and made her way towards the other slayer. “Sometimes you really have to let yourself go. Be free with yourself, you let this slayer shit get to you all the time you forget how to be…what’s the word I’m looking for…” She slouched on the couch next to Buffy.
“You?” Buffy raised an eyebrow.
“Exactly!” Faith grinned. “Me, you should let yourself go like me.”
Buffy nodded slowly. “Right, I want to be you…I like myself just fine thank you very much.”
“Well that’s good, cause I like you too.” Faith smirked. “I’m just saying you take some things a little to seriously, that’s all.”
“Ok, I’ll show you that I can let my hair down, and have a little fun. On Tuesday, you just wait. Buffy will so totally be…there.” The petite blonde looked at Faith sternly.
“God Buffy…do you even realize how incredibly sexy you are when you take charge and look all serious?” Faith said quite seriously.
Buffy blinked and looked at the dark brunette. “Wh…what?”
“I said…”
“I know what you said… how is it that you left…that we grew apart so fast?” Buffy asked.
Faith sighed and stood up. “I knew you weren’t over that yet, and I don’t blame you…but God Buffy, I’m trying my best here. Really, I’m trying to pro…” A mouth on hers swallowed Faith’s words. She didn’t have enough time to respond to those lips that were on hers. Opening her eyes, she found Buffy smiling back at her.
“Now, are we done here? Because I am starved.” Buffy grinned and headed out into the front of the Magic Box.
Faith was still processing everything in her head. Buffy just kissed her…placing her own fingers against her lips she smiled at bit. < Go B. >

“Why?”
“I don’t know.”
“Why?”
“I. Don’t. Know.”
“Why?” Hadley lined up her goldfish crackers in a row as she watch her Aunt and Dawn wash lunch dishes.
“Hadley…” Tori warned.
“I just want to know why some of these goldfish have smiles and eyes, when others don’t. I really don’t think that’s fair.” The tiny blonde reasoned.
“Well, maybe the ones without the eyes, don’t want to know when a little blonde squirt is going to chomp them up in her tiny yet big mouth.” Tori was nudged by her girlfriend. “Ow, what?”
“Be nice.” Dawn smiled. “Hadley, sometimes they just don’t get to make faces on some of the goldfishes.”
“Why?” Hadley frowned again. She really wasn’t trying to be annoying; she just didn’t understand why some fishes have the smiles and eyes when others don’t.
“Hadley, just eat your fish.” Tori dried her hands.
“Hadley, just eat your fish.” Hadley grumbled slipping off her stool. “Meanie.” She said as she walked away to find Brady.
“Brat.” Tori grumbled cleaning off the table.
“Tor, is something wrong?” Dawn asked as she wrapped her arms around Tori’s waist from behind.
“Why would you think that?” Tori asked, turning her head a bit to see her girlfriend.
“Oh, I don’t know… Hadley seems to be getting on your nerves lately.”
“I know. And it’s not her. I’m just… Tara is taking this Willow and Australia harder then she leads people to believe. And with Hadley constantly hounding her with questions about why Willow has to go and all that, I just hate seeing Tara so upset. And she isn’t one to let her emotions show if it means dragging other people down with her.” Tori turned around and cupped Dawn’s cheek softly, caressing the soft skin with her thumb. “She is so completely in love with Willow, and the thought of spending a month alone without her… it’s hard. I mean, if the were you, I’d be losing my mind already, and you’re still here.” She smiled.
“I love you.” Dawn whispered, closing her eyes.
“I love you too.” Tori grinned. “And I don’t mean to take any of this out on Hadley.” Her voice dropped to a guilty tone.
“It’s ok Tori.” Dawn softly said. “I know things are a little rough around here. And Hadley is just a little to young to understand why Willow has to leave at all.”
“I know, and that’s why I feel bad. Her little heart is so dead set on getting Tara and Willow together for an eternity. And we both know, that Willow and Tara are together for an eternity already.”
“Have you tried sitting down with Had, and explaining things to her?”
“No. Obviously not.”
“Aunt Tori?” Hadley peeked her head around the corner of the foyer threshold. “I’m sorry. You’re not a meanie.” The tiny blonde made her way back into the kitchen, latching herself to Tori’s leg.
“And you’re not a brat.” Tori smiled picking up her niece.
“You called me a brat?” Hadley asked, frowning a bit.
“I did, yes, and I’m sorry.”
“Ok.” Hadley wrapped her arms around Tori’s neck. “Can you help me practice for my song?”
“Sure, why don’t I just finish cleaning up while you and Dawn get things ready...” Tori was stopped by a hand on hers. “Dawn?”
“Let me finish here, you go get things ready ok?” Dawn smiled placing a kiss on Tori’s lips.
“Aww!” Hadley giggled as she watched the two teenagers.
They heard the front door open and Brady barked at the intruders. “Brady.” Willow’s voice rang through Hadley’s ears.
“WILLOW!” The small girl squealed and struggled her way out of her auntie’s arms. “MAMA!”
Tara grinned when she saw her daughter race around the corner and jump into her arms. “There’s my girl.” Tara softly said, nuzzling Hadley’s neck. “Were you good while Willow and I went out to by some groceries?”
“I was, I was.” Hadley nodded and kissed Tara on the lips. “Did you buy anymore goldfish crackers?” She asked reaching out for Willow.
“We did, we did.” Willow giggled and wrapped her arms around the tiny frame. “So what have you all been up too?”
“Auntie Tori’s going to help with my song while Dawn finishes cleaning up the lunch dishes.” Hadley slid out of Willow’s arms and tackled the Brady gently.
Tara and Willow exchanged grins as they walked into the kitchen carrying grocery bags. “Dawnie, you don’t have to do the dishes.” Willow said standing beside the brunette. “Get in the living room with your girlfriend and Hadley, and sing already.”
“Yes ma’am.” Dawn shook her head smiling. “Will?” She asked turning around to face the red head.
“Yeah?”
“I was wondering, since… I don’t know, since you’ll be gone for a month, if Buffy and I can house sit, that way Tara won’t have to worry about two houses to take care of.” Dawn wanted to help ease tension off the Maclay’s in any way she could. “Faith can even help out some since she’s here and all.”
Tara looked at her girlfriend and smiled warmly. “That actually sounds like a good idea, I mean, I could always stop by every once in a while, and help out with things.”
Willow thought about it for a moment. Letting the Summer women tend to her house while she was away sounded pretty good. “Sure, only… no throwing major parties and trashing the place. You’ll get one pissed off Willow.” Willow said, her eyes glowing, giving away some silliness. “Seriously though, I’d love it if you could Dawn. Thank you for the offer.”
“But… Hadley is still taking care of Brady right?” Dawn asked knowing the small blonde has her heart set on living with Brady for a whole month.
“Of course, wouldn’t want to go and break her little heart now would we?” Willow smiled. Dawn laughed and went to find her Tori.
Tara nuzzled her girlfriend’s neck from behind, kissing the skin softly. “You are so going to be missed.” She murmured quietly, breathing in strawberry and Willow scent.
“So are you.” Willow turned around and kissed Tara tenderly.
“Send us a postcard ok?” Tara whispered.
“Tara, I promise. Let’s not talk about this now though ok? Let’s just enjoy what little time we have left before I leave.” Willow’s voice was full of love.
Tara nodded her head and kissed Willow once again. “Why don’t we make this karaoke night?” Her blue eyes sparkled.
“Really?” Willow would never pass up a chance to hear her beauty sing. “Like… an all night thing?”
“Yes. We can even invite Xander, Anya, Buffy and Faith over. Make it a fun night thingy.” Tara was getting all excited. “It’s Saturday night. No one works tomorrow…”
“I so love you.” Willow backed Tara up against the fridge and pressed her body tightly against the blonde.
“I take that as a yes?” Tara breathed as Willow’s hands caressed her side while nibbling along her throat.
“Oh yes.” Willow growled, sucking and licking at Tara’s pulse point, claiming her love once again.
