All caught up now and as always they were lovely! Willow, Tara, and Hads dinner went pretty well. Hope they get lots and lots of time together b4 Willow has to go. FAITH - that was a somewhat surprise but enjoyable i hafta say. Hope their dinner goes well and Dawn and Tori's dance - can't wait 4 more!

I just caught up with the last couple of updates. I know I have said it before but I absolutely love this fic. I like how Tara is handling Willow's up coming trip. Hadley is so adorable, she reminds me of my little cousin, always busy. Things seem to be going well for Dawn and Tori, and I am glad Faith is back. Buffy should definitely choose her over Nikki, but that is for you to decide and either way I will still be happily reading.

Thank you all for your lovely feedbacks...I LOVE...I am just writing a quick reply. I'm sorry about the update, something came up...like, just this evening, and I have to get through this first before adding another update.

Another quickie…I mean, update that is. I’m not at school today because some of the stuff that’s been going on here at home…I did however, work on my update like I said I was going too. “Before my mom passed away, six months into my pregnancy, she promised that not a drop of ‘Jason’ would be in my baby. That the child would purely be just me.” Tara smiled at the memory of when Hadley was born. She felt nothing but love and her mother’s blessed aura around this little girl.

“Faith…are you ever coming back to Sunnydale?” Buffy blurted out.



“Not sure B…I guess we’ll see.”



“Ok…um, I guess this is goodbye?” Buffy bit her lip. Her throat grew a lump in it as she choked back the unwelcomed tears.



“Not goodbye Buffy…”



Buffy let a tear fall when she heard Faith use her whole name fully. She didn’t use it often, just when she knew that she felt emotion.



“Just see you soon.” Faith finished and wiped the tear from Buffy’s cheeks before placing a soft kiss on her lips before heading down the hallway to the staircase.

“Did you just read my thoughts?” Tara asked stepping back slightly.



“I don’t know…did I?” Hadley asked scratching her head.

“Which is to be expected. But look, Willow’s gay, and she is the most loved person in this town. The girls because of her fashion and compassion for baby animals, and the guys love her for the more obvious reasons. Girl on girl action, the hotness of that red hair and green eyes, that gorgeous smile, her body figure…”



“Why Lindsay, I’m beginning to think you have a little something for Willow.” Tori teased.



“Who wouldn’t? Tell no one...especially your sister.” Lindsay laughed. “And about tomorrow night, everyone excepts this new lifestyle, given that you two probably aren’t the only in the closet gay couple here. If they do make fun of you, screw them, you’re beautiful, Dawn’s beautiful, and I can tell you care about each other a lot. So you don’t mind of what they say. I’ll be behind your back every step of the way.”

“Tori, I told you, you didn’t have to help.” Joyce smiled as Tori took her place beside her and helped with the dishes.



“No really, it’s fine. I like helping Tara do this, and I’d like to help you.” Tori smiled. “And please don’t take this as a way to suck up for me dating your daughter. I would’ve helped anyways.”



“I know that.” Joyce rinsed the dishes and passes them to Tori to dry. “About you and Dawn however…I just, I’d like you to know that I am okay by this. You’re a sweet and wonderful young lady who has taught Dawn a lot. By a lot I mean, she gets out of bed early enough to make it in time to have breakfast and shower before you pick her up…that says a lot.”



Tori smiled somewhat proudly and ducked her head down a bit. “I do what I can to see that she gets to school on time.”



“Well good for you.” Joyce laughed lightly. “So how are you feeling about tonight? The dance is going to be a huge deal for both of you.”



“Yeah, I’m nervous, but no more nervous than when I was when I first got here.” Tori admitted. “Mrs. Summers, I just have to thank you for being so nice about all of this. I want you to know that I promise not to hurt Dawn in any way. I wouldn’t dream of hurting her.”



Joyce hugged Tori. “You’re welcome here anytime Tori, I do trust you with my youngest daughter.” Pulling back she smiled, “Now why don’t you go get your girlfriend and freshen up before you have to leave for the dance.”

“Willow…” Tara stopped the heavy make-out session for a second, feeling the heat rise again between the two. “…Hadley’s just out in the living room.”



Willow groaned and put her head down on Tara’s shoulder. “I know, I’m sorry. I just…want to feel you…love you.”



Tara cradled Willow’s face in her hands. “I know sweetie, me too.” Her lips found Willow’s once again and brushed them together.



“How do you think Dawn and Tori will do at the dance?” Willow asked shifting slightly in Tara’s lap playing with the blonde hair.



“Fine I’m sure.” Tara smiled. “Tori’s strong and they way Dawn feels about her…they’ll be supporting each other. Plus both have big sisters who would kick anyone’s ass if they ever in any way hurt them.” She seriously said before letting a grin curl up on her mouth.



“Too bad Nikki dropped by…oh…” Willow jumped excitedly up and down in Tara’s lap, causing the blonde to gasp a bit with the electric heat that still fumed between the two. “Maybe she just wants to say hi and leave…maybe I can stay the night.”



“So she just stopped by without no warning or anything?” Tara tightened her grip on the red head getting a small giggle out of Willow.



“If you don’t stop that I might have to put Shrek on for Hadley and drag you upstairs…” Willow nibbled on Tara’s neck before drawing herself back a bit.



“You wouldn’t do that to poor Hadley now would you?” Tara whispered raising a teasing eyebrow she leaned in and kissed Willow again. This time she didn’t try and hold back, her tongue sought Willow’s and her hands grasped into Willow’s back tightly.



“Can we…um…please?” Willow whispered and whimpered but allowed herself to be possessed by Tara’s mouth and tongue once again. A moan came form deep within her throat and her hands grabbed the material of Tara’s shirt at her waist and bunched it up in her fists. She felt Tara shift her hips upwards a bit and she greeted her by a push downwards with her own.



Tara liked when Willow would straddle her, in a way, she kind of had control in this position. She could hold Willow there tightly, she had better access to…other things. Letting her hands drop to Willow’s waist, she grazed her teeth along Willow’s tongue before holding it captive and sucking the warm tongue gently, moaning as she did so.



Willow echoed her girlfriend’s moan and shivered when she felt Tara’s fingers slip under her shirt letting her finger nails drag across the swell of her lower back. Feeling all to excited, Willow wound her hands in the long blonde hair, making their lips lock tightly in place.



Tara pulled, urged Willow closer when she felt burning fire deep within her chest, moving downwards. She felt Willow move in closer, she felt her lover’s flat stomach flutter against her own. Her teeth bit a little harder into Willow’s tongue as she sucked in a lung full of air and Willow fingers found their way to cup her breasts.



Trying to get more leverage, Willow pushed forward a bit with her heels, making the chair tip forwards, her hands squeezed those soft globes through the sweater Tara was wearing. When she felt Tara lift her hips again, Willow pushed back and automatically braced the back of Tara’s head when she felt a little dizzy…like they were falling.



“Ouch!” Tara let out a small laugh when her back hit the floor and felt Willow’s body fall on top of her own.



Willow blinked then realized that they did fall, backwards with the chair still underneath them. “Are you ok?” She asked in concern that her girlfriend could be hurt in any way.



Hadley came buzzing around the corner and saw her mama on the floor with Willow on top holding Tara’s head and the little girl noticed how out breath her ‘parents’ were. “Mama?”



Tara looked over at her daughter and let out a giggle of surprise, “Had…hey, I thought you were watching T.V.?”



“I was, but then I heard a crash…it scared me,” Hadley moved a little closer, “Are you ok?”



Willow looked at Hadley and smiled, “Yeah baby girl, we’re fine….I think,” She looked back down at Tara, “Are you?”



“Yes.” Tara sat up but couldn’t move any further because of the red head’s body that was still on top.



“Why is Willow on top of you?” Hadley asked a bit curious.



“Oh…um…well…clumsy.” Willow laughed nervously.



“Yeah, clumsy. I was um, tipping back my chair and as I was falling, Willow tried to help me, she tried to catch me.” Tara smiled and stop up when Willow offered her, her hand.



“So Willow’s a hero?” Hadley asked smiling.



“Oh no, I’m no hero, I never exactly saved her.” Willow picked up the chair and placed it back in front of the table. “If I caught her, maybe then I’d be called a semi hero.”



Hadley nodded her head and laughed, “You did catch her, and Aunt Tori said you caught an angel falling in love.”



“She did?” Tara asked smoothing back her hair.



“When we were in L.A. she said that.”



“Check me out…I’m a hero.” Willow smirked tucking in her shirt that Tara managed to pull out when her thoughts were somewhere else.

“Ready?” Tori asked holding Dawn’s hand standing in the school’s parking lot.



Dawn nodded her head silently and squeezed Tori’s hand.



Tori caught her girlfriend’s eyes, “Sweetie, we don’t have to do this. We could just go as friends if you’re not ready. I mean, at least your mom knows about us now. We don’t have to hide things from her.”



“No.” Dawn said flat out. “We came here together, I asked you to this dance as my date, as my girlfriend, and by the powers that be…we are going in there…together…as one.” With that she spun Tori around and kissed her without a care in the world.



Pulling back, Tori stood there in shock. She had to get used of a take charge Dawn, her eyes sparkled and locked with Dawn’s.



“”I love you Tor…you and me, against the world together.” Dawn pulled Tori back in and kissed a bit more softly this time.



“I will never get used to how sweet you two look together.” Lindsay smiled walking up behind them with a tall dark male standing by her side. “Tori, Dawn, this is my date Jerome, Jerome, these are two of the sweetest girls, Tori and Dawn.”



“Hi, very nice to meet the both of you.” Jerome smiled and held out his hand for them to shake. “Lindsay’s right, you two do look very sweet together.”



“Um, thank you.” Tori and Dawn shyly said.



“So are you two going in?” Lindsay asked playing with the long blonde strand of her hair that hung loosely down her cheek.



“Yeah, just taking a moment.” Tori laced Dawn’s fingers into her own.



“Don’t worry about things ok? You know that you’ll still have a friend, but everything will be fine.” Lindsay tried to comfort them in any way she could. Letting them know that she still likes them regardless of what happens inside, was about the only thing she could do.



“Thanks Lind.” Dawn smiled. “Are you ready?” She asked Tori this time.



“As ready as I’ll ever be.” Tori took a deep breath and they followed Lindsay and her date inside the school entrance.

Buffy paced back and forth in her room as Faith sat on the bed. She was just a little surprised to see Faith back in Sunnydale after two years, and little surprised that she’d actually show up here in the first place.



“B, are you going to be ok?” Faith asked watching the blonde. “You’re going to burn a whole in your carpet.”



“You came back.” Buffy stopped and looked at Faith.



“So you’ve been saying for the past hour. By the way, thank you for actually letting me stay for dinner. I didn’t want to ruin it for Tori and Dawn.”



“It’s fine. You know you’re always welcomed here.” Buffy smiled a little before going back into pacing mode.



“You know, I can leave if you want.”



“Oh no. I’m sorry,” Buffy stopped again and went over to her dresser and picked at the material hanging over the top. “I’m still just…you know…it’s just a lot to take in.”



“You think it was easy for me to come here Buffy?” Faith asked standing up and walking over to the petite blonde. “I’ve been going through everything, trying to be rational. Trying to come up with excuses why I shouldn’t be in Sunnydale. I hurt you bad when I left. Everybody knows it, and facing your mother again wasn’t easy. And I’m scared of actually bumping into Giles because he’s so going to drill me up and down the wall of why I’m not worthy of being in Sunnydale…”



“Why do you think you’re not worthy?” Buffy asked, interrupting the dark haired slayer. “And why would you think Giles would be the one drilling you?”



Faith let out a deep and long sigh, rubbing her forehead she looked into Buffy’s eyes. “Because I hurt you in the worst way possible. I left without saying goodbye to anyone. This is not only about leaving you, but I left my duties, I left my watcher, I left things hanging in the air, and for you to pick up the pieces. Now if that’s not worthy of being back in Sunnydale with the world’s greatest people, then what is?”



“Thank you for coming back.” Buffy said quietly. “Really, it’s great to have you here…in Sunnydale that is.”



Faith nodded her head and backed off a bit. “I, however, didn’t really come back for my slayer forgiven duties.” She admitted looking at pictures of the scoobies before landing on a small picture of Buffy and herself. “I actually came back to prove to you that this wasn’t goodbye.”



“Oh…” Buffy bit her upper lip before clapping her hands and rubbing them together. “Well, you know, since you’re here and all…did you wanna help me patrol? I missed watching you kick vampire ass.”



Faith grinned, “There’s my B…. and I’d love too. Missed watching you too.”



“Oh and about supper, I’m glad you came, you broke some tension and focus off of Dawn, but you know, we could always swing by the school and see how their time at the dance is going?”



“Cool. Then maybe the Bronze? You know how I get after we have a good slay.”



Buffy blushed a little remember what exactly they did to burn off all that energy. “I’m guessing you mean your hunger needs…”



Faith smirked. “Of course, what else did you think I meant?” She chuckled and winked grabbing Buffy’s hand.

“I win!” Hadley giggled and put all of her pairs down to show what she got during their game of ‘Go Fish’.



“Well by George I think you did.” Willow smiled counting only five pairs in her hand.



“Who’s George?” Hadley asked trying to build a small card house.



“That’s just an expression.” Tara said just watching her daughter.



“Oh, I thought it was Curious George…the monkey. Mama? Can I have a monkey?” Hadley bit her bottom trying to concentrate on one specific card.



“Oh no. I don’t need another monkey in this house. One is plenty enough for me.” Tara laughed.



“Well that’s not nice, she’s just a Willow.” Hadley giggled looking up at Willow.



Willow grinned and shook her head, “No more watching Shrek with Buffy…and I believe miss princess, mama was talking about you.”



Tara pretended to look serious, “Um, no I wasn’t…Hadley’s right…I meant you.”



Willow looked at Tara shocked, “Why? I have to admit, I’m a little hurt by being called a monkey, but I’ll let it slide.” She kissed Tara gently before pulling back, “only because you said that one monkey is plenty enough for you.”



“Mama!” Hadley squealed causing Tara and Willow to break apart and look at her.



Tara’s eyes went wide when she saw a queen of hearts hover over the table, right in front of Hadley’s eye vision. “Oh my…”



“I floated it mama…I can do magic.” Hadley bounced in her wheelchair not taking her eyes off the card.



“Had, how’d you…” Willow began moving closer.



“I don’t know.” Hadley shrugged. “I was just concentrating on the air between the card and the table, trying to separate the two and look…” She pointed excitedly.



“Sweetie, that’s great. I’m proud.” Tara beamed and moved to her daughter, “But can you lower it for now? Since you’ve obviously found some your strength in your witch side, we need to discuss a few things about how to use magic.”



Hadley let the card fall and looked into blue eyes. “Ok.”

“Wow…she’s growing into her powers really fast…and early.” Tara said sitting outside on the porch with Willow snuggled up against her. After tucking Hadley in bed and putting Brady in beside her, they went outside to catch some fresh air and watch the night sky.



“When did you first get your strength and power?” Willow asked playing with Tara’s fingers.



“Same age as Hadley I believe.”



“So why are you surprised?” Willow prodded gently.



Tara sighed and licked her lips, “Because I’m not prepared to tell her about our ways. And by our ways, I mean how my mother taught Tori and I to control our strength and not use it unless we actually had too.” She kissed Willow’s temple. “Besides…a mother is never ready to see their child grow up, and Hadley getting her strength already is definitely a sign of her growing up.”



“Well it’s just the beginning Tare Bear, I mean, she can’t do anything else right? And when you told her briefly about how and what magicks were for, she seemed to understand.” Willow shifted so her head rested in the crook of Tara’s neck.



“She can read our thoughts.” Tara looked up at the sky. “I mean, not everyone’s, just ours…but don’t worry, she won’t invade your mind.”



“Wow…”



“Plus she read your aura without even seeing you. When you came to me to tell me you were leaving, she felt you, she felt the pain you had.” The blonde rested her cheek on top with Willow’s head. “And you heard her that night…” She couldn’t even bring herself to think about what her daughter had been through. She never even mentioned that she talked to the guy that hit Hadley and the puppy because she knew that if Willow found out who that guy was…he’d really have hell to pay.



“She’s a strong girl. And she does have the best teacher. You shouldn’t worry about it too much baby. Hadley knows and she listens to you all the time. Maybe she’s not really aware of how much strength she’ll hold when she’s older, but you will explain that to her.” The red head looked up at Tara and kissed her chin and jaw line. “And she’ll understand...because she’s made of you.” She whispered before nipping at Tara’s earlobe. “And no one…no one can ever take that away.”



A shiver ran down Tara’s spine as she closed her eyes and surrendered into the feeling that Willow was making her feel. Alive. Happy. And the world’s greatest mother. < Oh my…I so want to marry this woman. > She mentally slapped herself for thinking that, not because she regretted it, but because if Hadley could read her mind…then it’s possible Willow could too.



But Willow was too busy to read minds at that moment. Her lips were convincing Tara that she’s strong and that she could teach Hadley everything. Her lips met of soft plush ones and kissed them softly. “Tara…” She drew back a bit. “Can we make love?” She wanted to show Tara with everything she had that Tara was loved by her, and that she want to physically give her strength to her girlfriend, to let her know she’s not alone in this. That she’ll always have Willow to lean on when things get rough.



Breathing into Willow’s ear, Tara whispered, “Only if we go slow…”

This is the best line out of the whole update , not that the other lines were not good. Tara is already having thoughts of marriage. I know things will go well for them.



Why does hadley have to interrupt them? I love her questions which are very typical for a child Hadley's age who just caught her mother and her mother's girlfriend in a compromising position.
