Hi there, I'm Katherine.

As for newbies to the Willow and Tara party, I believe I take the cake. I accidentally started watching the show a mere five months ago (gasp!) when I subscribed to Netflix. I wanted to stream the service through my blu-ray player and added the show to my queue just to see if it would work. Anyway, long story short, I became addicted and finished the whole series over the summer.

Being crushed by the events of season six, I fell upon this website and found comfort in a community that I could actually relate to. This was all incognito, of course, as I'm just de-lurking now.

I love reading and writing, and I'm considering writing my own fic (which influenced me to finally create an account). I'm currently working towards my bachelor's degree in exercise science, and often find myself on here rather than studying. Like right now, for example.

Nope, I win. I watched the entire series this July. XD I vaugely remember the show when it was on tv, and wanted to watch it, but it was on past my bedtime, and I think the 'rents thought it was to violent for my young mind. (I just turned 18 Nov. 1) I started watching because its impossible to go wrong with vampires, witches, demons and lesbians.

I'm a sci-fi/fantasy nerd, and love any type of story or game. Stories in novels, music, comics or games, I love it all as long as its well told. Card games, videogames, RPG, board games, sports, its all tons of fun.

Its slightly ironic that I've become additcted to fic, cause whenever my sister talked about it, I thought it was the stupidest invention ever. She usually reads ridiculous crossovers, or impossible slash, both of which I still dislike. So thats my intro speil. Hi kittens!

Hi, I’m Shel!

Like many of you I am a fellow lurker, for the better part of a year, before I joined officially a couple months ago. I’m a photographer and live near Houston with my partner and our 11yr old daughter.

Even though I was aware of the W/T story line, I only started watching Buffy this past January. There were no DVR’s back when it originally aired and I had a baby, so I never had time to watch.

One night my daughter was flipping channels and came across an episode, so I decided to watch with her. ANYTHING to get away from the Disney channel!! The episode just happened to be Hush and we both became completely hooked. In the last 11 months I’ve watched the entire series at least 4x and my W/T (esp. Willow) favorites more times than I can count.

I found the Kitten Board after reading pretty much everything on Jasmydae’s archive site. I finally got the courage to write and actually start posting chapters of my fic and I have to say…you guys have been great!!

I think I'm a senior citizen around here at the ripe old age of 34, but I'm a kid at heart.

Oh and just a side note: If LonelyTara is a senior citizen, then I’m practically geriatric! I’m not giving up my age…I’ll just feel too damn creepy! lol

Hello All!

My name is Dori, and I have decided after about 8 years of hardcore lurking on the site that I would come out of the shadows and become a legit member.

I have been a Buffy fan from it's inception, and a W&T fan from their humble beginings in "Hush".

In addition to Buffy/W&T I love horror films, zombies, George A. Romero, The NIghtmare Before Christmas, French horror films, Halloween, Autumn, and well, just movies in general. I have about 700 dvd's in my collection...and it's still growing! (Blu-Ray!!)

I also collect action figures, comic books, horror memorabilia... & I also go to many genre related conventions. Ooh! I collect cats too! Jake, Figgy, Tara, and Xander.

I am a NERD...and very proud of it! Prior to meeting me, my girlfriend didn't watch Buffy, didn't know who W&T were, and didn't watch anything remotely scary...5 years later I have completely converted her into a fellow Buffy/horror fanatic.

I'm very excited for the holidays because I am very lucky to receive boatloads of Buffy stuff from her!!

So, that's about it for now....

Ooh, my first post...I'm excited, and strangely nervous haha.

I only found this site a few days ago, I was trying to find a board based on Willow and Tara, but my lack of computer savvy skills made it difficult for me...but I'm here now

Ok, so I guess here comes the intro part...well, I'm 26, and I've been watching Buffy since it started. I never really had friends that were into the show, but luckily I found roomates over the past couple of years that are fans which is awesome. Aside from Buffy, some of my fave shows are Xena, Angel, Legend of the Seeker, Spartacus, and a web series called The Guild.

I'm a super shy Canadian gal who currently resides in St. Catharines, Ont. where I attend University. I major in French, and minor in English. I'm a nerd at heart I guess. I love comic books, video games, reading, I'm an artist, I have a passion for languages and music. I mainly play the drums, but I also play guitar and a few other instruments. I'm a fantasy geek, I love mythology, and fairytales. I also love films,I've recently been invited to try my hand at acting and I am currently waiting for my script for my friend's film, so I'm pretty jazzed about that...it'll be an interesting switch from band stuff lol. Anyways, I'm probably just rambling now, so I'll stop. I look forward to being a member of this board!
