Hello Kittens,

PenguinMaxx here, aka Pengy. I'm 62, and (partially) retired, so I have plenty of time to keep up with kittenish fics about our girls.

I pretty much missed the entire broadcast of BtVS, mostly caring for my late wife . She's been gone for nearly two years now, and my best buds sat me through their entire DVD collection for Willow-n-Tara therapy . It worked! I'm feeling much better now, and actively looking for work.

Just have to say how much I enjoy not only the fics but also the community here. Especially the coming-out thread, which makes me wish I had had a community like this one supporting me back in the seventies....

Anyhoo, that's about it for now. As I get my feet wetter in WnT-dom, I may be able to help out with beta-ing.... But that'll be a different story....

I'm Paige and I'm fifteen, almost sixteen. I don't have any real interests because my school is very limited in what you can do as an extracurricular activity and I'm not particularly athletic or balanced. I don't play any instruments, although I do own a guitar. I like to write, but I'm more of a lurker than an active participant. Spell check is my friend, but I took a class at the community college to help with my grammar.

For the most part I'm a really bad geek. I don't like video games, I don't program computers in my spare time, I don't own any special limited-addition anything. Matter of fact, now that I think of it, I've never watched Star Wars unless you count the Family Guy portrayal. My friends and I use nerfherder often, just so you know.

I'm 16 next month and I live in England. I'm pretty geeky (not quite up to Willow standards though!)

I play guitar, bass, piano, steel pans and I sing (aparrently quite well but I'm not so sure), and I'm good at art and awful at sports.

And of course, i spend way more time than is healthy reading W/T fanfic

Weirdly enough, it was my Grandma who got me into BtVS, she watched it back when it was on tv, I googled it, found out about W/T, and bought the entire box-set

Hi everyone,

I'm dreamingstate. I was pretty late to the BtVS scene. I hadn't seen a single episode until last summer. But then I spent a summer term at school without cable and... well my roommate happened to have the entire series on DVD and the rest, as they say, is history. I've spent the past year lurking the Kitten Board without ever joining but with the "changing FAQ" debate bringing so many of my favourite authors (whose fics I never bothered to comment on because I was so late to the game) out of the woodwork... well I figured it was time to take the plunge.

The name is inspired by the Florence + The Machine song "Blinding" and then 47 is pretty much the best number out there. I mean it's prime (and being a fourth year math student, I have a thing for prime numbers) plus I had a pretty big Alias obsession in high school.

Anyways, I'm happy to finally be a member of this amazing community!

This is Tranzevillan speaking [obviously, doh!] but you can call me Tina. I've been a fan of Buffy since 1997 when I caught my first episode of The Puppet Show. I was eight at the time so I had to fight every monday/tuesday nights to watch my Buffy episodes. [-shakes fist at my mom-]

I'm currently 21 years old and I still watch my Buffy episodes [bought the whole DVD set].

I'm been following the kitten board back in 2002 I believe. I wasn't really happy with Tara dying so I sought out solace in good ole Willow/Tara fanfic and voila! I've been stalking the kitten board on and off ever since. I have no idea why I decided to join up now instead of before but better late then never right?

Hey, I don't know how I missed this step, but here goes! My name is Robin, I'm from Orlando, Florida--shout out to the other Florida kids! I'm a teacher, freelance video game designer, and a writer, and I love BtVS.

I have to admit I was in college having my own coming out dramas during a lot of BtVS, so I didn't actually watch the whole series until this year. I absolutely adore Willow and Tara, and I was devastated by the way Joss ended things in his version of that universe (boo) and so I decided I was going to write some fan fiction and change that ending!

I started out on FF.net, and then--thank goodness--found the fabulous Kitten Board. I think I'm a senior citizen around here at the ripe old age of 34, but I'm a kid at heart. I'm a nerd, like Latin Club, Chess Club, Star Trek, Star Wars nerd, and I love video games, but I don't like any of that stuff as much as Willow and Tara.

I make a wish right now, that there will always be a Kitten Board, and people weaving tales of the wonder that is the love of Willow and Tara.

I actually signed up a few weeks ago and I was having trouble posting. And was too lazy to figure out why (I do tech support for online courses about 30 hours a week).

Anyway, I watched Buffy for the first time about three weeks ago (maybe it was a month ago?). Was reading a post on author Malinda Lo's blog and there was a Willow/Tara picture of them kissing and I decided I should watch the show. My significant other is studying abroad far, far away and I needed something besides Sasameki Koto that had some ladies who like ladies in it.

Got a couple episodes on iTunes and then have been borrowing the rest from my boss who is a big Buffy fan. I've got huge mixed feelings about the series (as does my girlfriend). So full of win, yet so full of fail. Ah well. You folks seem pretty cool though.: )

I started watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer 5 or 6 years ago. I saw what people were saying about the show online and it made me want to watch it. I'm not a huge fan of seasons 4 to 7 as far as seasons go but I love the Willow/Tara relationship. They have such a great relationship. Tara and the Willow/Tara relationship are what I like the most about seasons 4 to 7.

You might be wondering what my username is about... It's very simple. There are only two BtVS relationships I really love : Buffy/Angel and Willow/Tara.

I'm Ariel. I pre-date our finny friend, so no fish jokes, okay! I actually chose the name when I was 13 and read the Tempest. Somehow the character of Ariel resonated with me. Guess magic has attracted me from an early age! ;o)

I live in California in the east bay. I'm in the working world and working towards a masters.

I only saw Buffy about 2 months ago. I didn't know what fanfic was until fairly recently and "Courage" was my first story.

Reading, writing, movies, and theatre pulled me in. It's funny about theatre, I didn't know anything about it but it was easy for me to be a different character for 8 hours a day and improvise dialogue in character. Someone was willing to actually pay me for that and it was astonishing and wonderful.

Later I directed an all women's ensemble that had a lot of love and support. We were sisters to each other and, for the first time, I found my group.

Getting to know you better on the boards is wonderful.

I started watching Buffy about two years ago, but saw Once More with Feeling before I was finished with season 3 (there was much confusion as to why Willow suddenly had a girlfriend) thanks to a sibling who felt the need to share it.
I'm absolutely in love with Amber Benson, but couldn't bring myself to go to her book signing in San Fransisco today. It probably would have ended with me turning bright red and running out of the store.

My name's Anna/Wolfsbane/Wolfie. My chief obsession is Tara. And Willow. Two! My two chief obsessions are Tara and Willow. And Grey's Anatomy. Amongst my obsessions are: Tara, Willow, Grey's Anatomy, science (specifically medicine), literature (currently reading Dante's Inferno and loving it!) and writing.

I started watching Buffy about a year to six months ago, and am addicted. I've been reading fic since I was probably either 11 or 12, but it's taken me a while to write my own.

What else... I'm gay and halfway in the closet... or in a glass closet. I don't talk about it with my mom at all, but whenever referring to my future, she always uses the term "partner." And she told my brother (who I'm out to) that she thinks that I think that... oh, whatever.
