Kittens So, since I last updated, my son has gotten teeth, learned how to walk and thank you sweet baby Jesus, learned how to sleep. Kind of. (It's a work in progress, but then, aren't we all.) Thank you, thank you, thank you for your continued patience!
WillowRTaraM1 Yay for giddy! And thanks re: the laughs. This was so much fun to write. I love goofy, flirty Willow and Tara. I think I've been waiting five years to write that scene!
Mrs. Pineapple They do tend to do that, don't they, the bad thoughts? But no bad thoughts here, only happy, stomach flipping omgomgomg thoughts. Buffy... I feel badly for her, she has a serious lack of information. Someone clue that girl in! Glad you approve of the increase in their physical relationship. Don't know the Norah Jones song but will definitely YouTube it once my son is up. No worries about the impatience, I feel the same way about fics I like. And thank you for being patient. Family life is indeed time consuming, but never fear, this story is always with me and I will do everything I can to finish. I'm so glad you feel the story is recognizable and that it resonates. That is incredibly satisfying to read. Thanks re: their quirks, too. I try to picture each character as they were on the show; I don't want them to be caricatures, you know? I'm so glad you like how I've written the characters, especially Xander. He gets the short stick in a lot of fics, so it's been fun to write him as the Xander I thought he could be, in the right situation. (S5 Xander, for the most part.) I'm glad you like the plot, because for so long it felt like there wasn't one! I didn't have one when I started writing, it just sort of... appeared like one of those spells in a witch movie, the words writing themselves on the page. Thanks re: the smut. It's hard to write, so I'm glad you enjoy. I like how you've imagined things going. I do that with incomplete fics I love. I hope you like where the story is going. And re: Willow not enjoying Tara - I think she's just so scared of making a mistake. She's lived a pretty structured life up till now, and the idea of letting go a little is very scary. And Willow in PJs with the doggy - who can resist. Thanks for the very kind feedback. Very much appreciated. Please enjoy the update.
Bellalocke Oh no, don't say the p-word! (Progress - let's just hope you didn't jinx anything.

) I'm glad you loved the update - yay! Willow comes out to her mom Saturday, and this next update starts with Friday morning. So, imminent coming-outage. Hope you enjoy the next bit, and where the story goes after that.
Zampsa1975 So glad you liked Tara's story. It was so ridiculous and fun to write. I snickered quite a bit imagining what she would say. Amen about continued mutual touching. (That sounded dirty.) Buffy... poor girl just needs the full scoop, then I think she'll be the Buffy we all know and love. How everything will unfold with Willow's mom, Tara, Buffy... have to wait and see, but I think it's safe to say that once everyone has the full information, their core selves will shine through. Enjoy the next part!
fhiwda Marvelous, why heaven's to Betsy I'm blushing. Thank you very much, so glad you loved, despite the total and complete lack of smoochies.
writerfreak Hehe, you probably couldn't have said 'that's what she said!'

Thank you very, very much.
chickfactor Thank you!
irishgrl3 Hopeful for Buffy is good. Just have to remember that no one is telling her anything. She's totally bereft of reliable information. Poor dear. I'm so glad you liked those two parts - was so worried that they were 100% Wisconsin cheeseball. Thank you as well re: the story. Just tried to extrapolate what we saw on the show. And thanks re: the long updates. I am long-winded, and am grateful that that makes up for my extreme pokeyness. Enjoy the next part Anna - thanks again!
AmberGoddess Stamp of approval - yay! So glad you liked, and that you thought the story was hilarious. And 'that's what she said' - totally seems like something that Willow would say and then get completely bashful about. Had to include it. Hope you like the next part.
MagicPancakes Welcome back! Glad there were many updates waiting for you, and that you enjoyed them. And reread - wow! Thank you for the Snoopy dance - please enjoy the next update.
JustSkipIt All caught up? Probably, since I've been gone for just under forever and a day. (Seriously? Babies are a lot of work. But then, you knew that...) Good thoughts on That Damned Day in the Park (TM, Cam). I think it's totally safe to say that that day and the painting are related. More on that in future updates, for sure. Interstitial - completely. I'm really glad you liked the Buffy and Buffy/Dawn parts. I haven't written outside of Willow and Tara's relationships with people much, so I was nervous it would really fall flat, but am so glad it seemed to work. I love Buffy and Dawn's dynamic, so it was fun to have a chance to play with it a bit. Buffy does know... she just doesn't know much else. Poor, poor thing. Going to make all of her future interactions very treacherous indeed! Loved your thoughts on how the whole post-coming out, dating thing is going to happen. You're right, totally so many different ways it can go. Hopefully the way this story seems to want to go isn't too completely lame. Baby is doing great - see first note in replies - and thankfully he's such a ham that pictures are a breeze.

Can you tell that I am one proud mom? Thanks so much Debra, as always!
Zooeys_Bridge Fireside chat definitely emboldened! And very funny with the quoteathon. You picked a lot of ones that I liked as well. I love Buffy and Dawn together, so it was a total pleasure to take a crack at writing their relationship. I'm so glad you liked it. I'm glad you liked Willow asking Tara to tell her the story. They're definitely opening up! So glad you like the last update; hopefully you'll like the next, as Buffy clues in and more. Thanks again!
Owl Ooo the Romans - I love the Romans. What with the aquaducts and Pax Romana and all. Sorry about the monkey claw though, that's never fun. I'm so glad you liked the last update; it felt good to be silly and flirty after that big, emotional fireside chat. Thank you re: the moments you liked, and no worries on the slackertude.

And hehe about saying 'that's what she said' before Willow got the chance. I'm glad someone else thought that besides Willow and me. Thanks so much - I hope you enjoy the next update.
I_love_Danish Well hopefully there's a *little* fun in the foreplay or else I'm meeeean! And yes, they're way, way, way too polite, but bless their hearts just the same. As much as I'd love for grabbing to happen, the story just doesn't want to go that way. Honestly, if I tried to write it before it's time it would stick out like a sore thumb. So, I'm just going to let this bad boy unfurl and hope that one day, someday, they do indeed kiss.

Hope you like the next part and thanks as always!
WillowRulez Isn't it weird what you miss when you're homesick? I'm glad you liked Buffy's line about the fog. I miss SF fog all the time. Bizarre. I agree that Tara needed a shot in the arm, and thank goodness Buffy provided it. Thanks so much re: grown-up Dawn. I like Dawn, and thought by S7 we were seeing the kind of person she could become with a little loving attention. It means a lot that you think this version works. Buffy is indeed perceptive about Tara loving Willow... just not about much else, though poor dear, she's working with bad intel. Hopefully that'll clear up soon, for her sake and the ones around her. Please enjoy the next bit!
DaddyCatALSO Glad you're glad that Buffy is back. Hopefully her suspicions will be made more clear in this next update. I think you're right that they're going to complicate her talk with Willow. She is working with really crappy information, so her thoughts are close... but not quite spot on. Totally sucks for her. Agree that Shelia is going to be a beast to tackle. Coming out is hard, and it will probably be hard to write that scene in a way that isn't overly maudlin or trite. Though, I am looking forward to it, believe it or not. Tara, her deadline and Willow's coming out are definitely nearing a collision. Not sure if it's good or bad for her yet... time will tell. Love your thought on how Willow will come clean with Tara... keep reading to find out if that's the way it goes.

"...once the more angsty chapters are done"? Oh man, don't jinx, don't jinx!

And so wild about the casting. Too funny. Thanks so much! (And re: Through the Looking Glass, I don't think Chris is updating anymore...? Maybe... that's what I thought. Such a shame; I love Chris, he did so much to promote this little tale through his site, and his feedback always put the biggest smile on my face. So thought-provoking and fun. His presence is missed.)
shiraz So happy to see you back! I hope you enjoyed the updates and thanks for the family well wishes. It has been a blessed year, that's for sure. And hey! I beat your feedback!

I kid, I kid. Please enjoy the next update and thanks again!
TinyWillow Perfect? Aw, shucks. /Kicks rocks, looks bashful. And five-year-old twins! Good lord, I bow before you, that's hard work! If it helps, the suspense is killing me and I know what's going to happen. Thank you though for your kind words, truly. I'm glad you're enjoying; please enjoy the next bit, even if it is a wee bit tardy.
inspiron Thank you very much. Buffy does indeed know, and you'll see more in the next update what she thinks is going on. I'm glad you think each chapter is getting more intimate; it feels that way when I'm writing it too. Your timeline is right on - great memory! Very optimistic about Willow being Tara's gallery party date. Michelle would be thrilled. Thanks again - please enjoy the next update.
taysla Thanks to much! And sorry to disappear - child rearing is time consuming. Who knew?!

And a dream you say... Hmm... Hope you enjoy the next update, even if it isn't exactly what you had in mind.
TinyAnt Thanks for the permission to take time between updates - the little one is definitely a handful! I know what you mean about things feeling more urgent now that we're getting closer to the end. You're very right that there is probably a lot more ahead - I mean, it seems to be the only way I can write, you know, but away from the middle is a good mental image. Haha Neverland!Buffy - that's very funny. I like Neverland!Buffy. I think she'd be totally kick ass if people would just confide in her. She's a good person, and a good friend. Right on about Buffy - I think feeling left out is going to be a way bigger problem for her than the fact that Willow is gay. Thank you re: the music; it's such a surprise how that's worked out. Hopefully you will continue to like its presence as the story moves forward. And dreamy sigh, I love me some Elbow. Congrats on the sax playing! That's cool. You probably felt like how I felt when I was able to write again - totally, totally happy. Please enjoy the next update, which was written with the baby's permission.
Renatecs An angst sucker! Not many people clamoring for the angst, you're a brave soul. The coming out is imminent, though can't say in how many updates. This story just has a mind of its own. Please enjoy the next update and thanks so much.
chance I definitely think you should post incoherent noises - that would be awesome. And I'm jamacain you crazy? So sorry, mon! (Accent as bad as Kendra's.) I'm so glad you thought the story was "them" - it seemed "them" when I was writing it, which was every so fun. Buffy totally knows what's up. Kind of. In her own, 'I don't have all the information' way. Her thoughts on Willow... check out this update for more. Sorry for the delay, but hopefully you'll like where it goes next.
ophelia11 Absolutely no worries about missing, just so glad you're here now. Thank you re: part 52. I'm glad you like the idea of Tara maybe initiating. I think you're right that as she's accepted her feelings, her confidence has grown. It's like she's allowing the person she knows she is on the inside out a little. I'm really glad you like the story and their attempt to grow their friendship. That's what I like most about this story, that they're friends before the smoochies. That was one of the things I liked about them on the show, how I imagine their relationship having developed. It seems important to have that here, as well. Glad you liked Buffy and Dawn too - I love them together and it was a blast to try my hand at writing a scene with them. Buffy... lord help her, she knows, but what to do with that burgeoning information. And a-to-the-men about helping sometimes not working out like you intend. This is especially true when you don't have all the facts. So glad you're enjoying. Hope you like the next part.
LittleBit Thanks, and sorry for disappearing. Hope you like the next update, and hopefully I'll be able to update a little more frequently moving forward! (Though, no promises!)
wimpy0729 Wimpy! I'm so glad you loved. Relaxed and flirty, that's definitely how things are shaping up between them. Tara, she's going to have an interesting time, as you'll see in this next update. And kissing freckled neck you say? That does sound divine, I'll pass a note to Tara and let her know you think she should get to it. Buffy is definitely figuring things out... at least where Tara's concerned. Her talk with Willow is scheduled to be Sunday, and this next update starts Friday morning. So, that's coming up soonish. (Be aware that "soonish" in Neverland may mean update 105 and be posted sometime in 2016. Gah.) Thanks so much for the kind thoughts, right back atcha.
SylverMaki Thanks so much! I'm so glad you think the recent updates have been awesome.

They are definitely getting closer, and speed bumps you say? Better put on your seat belt, just in case.

Hope you enjoy this next bit and reread?! Holy cow, so flattered. Thanks!
nimloth Thanks so much, and no worries about not leaving regular feedback. Just so great to read that you've been reading and enjoying.

Well put about the disentangling of their webs of fear - spot on. I hope you enjoy where things are going, and thanks so much for reading!
SickSadGirl No worries! Just glad you're here now. So glad you liked how things ended with Morgan. My goal with all the characters in this story is to approach them with the idea that they're all good people just trying to get through life the best they can with the information they have. Once Morgan found out that Tara liked Willow it didn't make sense to keep pursuing her. You're right, it wouldn't have been realistic. I'm glad you thought it was spot on. "Strong to keep trying, even though they are so afraid" - so totally true! It would be easy to back off, to hide, but they're both forging ahead which I hope is true to the characters on the show. I'm glad you liked Buffy in the last update. I like Buffy, I hope that shows. She does try her best and as you'll see in the next update she really does just want the best for her friends. Buffy and Dawn, what can I say, I love them, so that was a blast to write. The day in the park... more on that as the story progresses. Suffice to say, a good day for the girls.

Thanks so much and wow, go back when there isn't an update? So flattered. Thank you!
sadie GAH!! indeed!

I'm glad you're enjoying, despite the ever present GAHness of it all. More on Buffy's feelings in this next update - hope you enjoy.
synthwrr Thanks so much, feels great to be writing, even if I'm nervous about how things are going. And big blush for the writing compliment. I'm glad it is resonating. Please enjoy the next update.
wayland Welcome! So glad you plucked up the courage - the board is awesome and you definitely don't have to feel intimidated here. People are very nice. I know what you mean about being frustrated reading an unfinished fic once you've read completed works; it's jarring to get to where the story pauses. Been there, many times! But thank you for going back and for the wonderful compliments. I'm so glad you like the pacing. And thanks re: the scenes you highlighed - all favorites of mine. I loved writing them, so, so glad you enjoyed reading them! Thanks re: adding the music, art and their respective jobs. It seemed important for them to show who they are independent of their romantic aspirations, and work seemed to fill that void. Thanks Clare, I hope you enjoy where the story goes. And to your p.s. Xander does deserve to get in on the love, once the love is out and being shared!
Codyteddyh Thank you, very much. Please enjoy the next update!
IamLoui Thank you for the million congrats about the baby - he is awesome times a million, that's for sure. I'm glad you enjoyed the updates, please enjoy the next one!
Sanpfa Thank you so, so much. Flattered you love it.
PalomaMartinBR Welcome, newbie!

Aw, don't be shy, we're all friends here. (Kittens are nice, they don't bite... unless you ask them too.) I am indeed still writing this fic, if only at a glacial pace. I'm glad that fact brought out the dancing pink elephant! Re: the translation, look for a PM from me shortly. Thanks so much Paloma, so incredibly flattered, truly honored you like the story so much. Please enjoy the next part.
ssc1980 So jealous you went to The Fillmore! I love and miss that place, you have no idea. I'm so flattered you thought of this little tale when you were there. Who'd you see? Did you get a poster? Eat an apple? Again, jealous. Thanks so much! (And baby is energizer bunny of busy. Little scamp.)
dragonfly Hi Clau! The baby is well, thanks. No worries re: lack of feedback. Honestly, I take so long between updates, so no apologies necessary. I'm so glad you liked the fireside chat. Their relationship is indeed growing closer; it will be fun for them to revisit once everything is out in the open! Buffy is indeed getting closer - more on that in the next update. I'm glad you like this version, hope that continues. I'm glad you liked their silly story time, and a kiss would have been hard to avoid if they had hugged! The day in the park... more in future updates. (Sorry, don't mean to be evil or a tease, just... better to read it than try and explain in feedback, you know?) Big days for Willow indeed. Hopefully you'll like how it all shakes out. Thanks as always!
EmsInNz Wow, thank you for the huge compliment. Blushing big time over here! Hope you enjoy the next part, and thanks for the very kind words.
WrongObsession Most distracting story ever? Yay! But sleep is important, as I've found out with a baby who won't, so sleep! The story will still be here!

Enjoy the next update and thanks very much.
angieb86 Wow, doesn't 2005 seem like forever ago? So much in my life has changed since then, yet here I am, still plugging away on Neverland! Sigh. Thanks for the very kind words - I'm so glad it hasn't gotten old! Please enjoy the next part!
The Best Name On The Site Would it be cheesy to say awesome name? Because seriously, I laughed. Great name. Welcome to the board! I'm so glad you joined, that's so great. Mandatory education is evil, yet oh so necessary. Very funny about Peter Pan; I think a lot of people thought that early on. That or that it might involve Michael Jackson. Nope, just a big French farce of angst and gay love. Thank you so much for the very huge compliment on the writing. I am blushing profusely. I'm glad you feel like the characters are believable. I love stories that are layered, and I wanted to try and make the characters as rich as possible, even if that meant a million updates. I'm greedy, you know? I'm writing this as much for me, to find out what happens as everyone else, so it's been a joy to hear that the characters are resonating. Thank you re: the smut. I'm not a PWP girl, I mean, I enjoy reading it from time to time but I don't think I could ever write it. I love the revelations that come from the physical expression, even if they're strictly dreamland based. Thanks re: Tara's painting and Willow's work. It's fun to describe things that I can't do but wish I could. And yay about expanding iTunes - I love music and it's always great to hear that people are giving the tunes I love a chance. Placebo are awesome, and I promise the give the second song a listen once my son wakes up. Thanks so much, truly honored that you left feedback. Thanks.
vampyrgurl73 As I'm sure many people have already said, welcome to the board! Hope you enjoy your time here - there are so many great stories and nice people. Thanks to the multiple people who recommended the story! And thanks to you for tackling it despite it's incomplete status. Thanks very much for the very kind words - I'm so glad you liked. And years, I know, crazy, huh? I'm so glad you liked Buffy cluing in and all the murky relationships that have come from some simple omissions and misunderstandings. I blush at your compliments, and yay for the music. Aren't they all great, even the guilty pleasures? Thanks so much Heather, please enjoy the next bit.
