Foomatic: Turn Me On, Norah Jones
Colors, Amos Lee
Hey Ya by Outkast, as done by Obidiah Parker

The Way I Am, Ingrid Michaelson

Okay, Norah? I could listen to her for-e-ver and never get tired of her voice.

My favorite Amos Lee song! I'm so upset, he played here in October, but I didn't get tickets fast enough :(

Ohhhhh my god, Foo. I am SO glad you know Obyda. So. Freaking. Good. Can you believe they were unsigned for so long?! I made another mix with this on it too just last week. How funny.

And Ingrid! Hooray, she's fun. Her and Feist are playing at Smith on April 25th, but I'm missing it 'cause I'll be home for Passover. The things I do for family.... I'm consoling myself by going to Tokyo Police Club the 29th when I get back.

Miss you, pal! This is rocking, and now you've got me listen to Johnny Cash again! Boy Named Sue has gotta be my fav.

I don't have time for a real post just yet, but I do have a quick question for future reference ...
(A song that is labelled something blues)

Now, does this mean we can list any blues song, or does the song itself have to specifically be labeled Blues in the title, such as "Bell-Bottom Blues," or "Constipation Blues" by the late-great Screamin' Jay Hawkins?

Just curious.

Y'know, gorn I wasn't so sure about that myself. It could be fun to have the word 'blues' in the title, but I don't necessarily think it HAS to have the word blues. Could just be labelled by genre?

8)Sorry to Interrupt - Theophilus London
9)Crystalised - The xx
10)No One Loves Me & Neither Do I - Them Crooked Vultures
11)Help I'm Alive - Metric
12)Pursuit of Happiness (Kid Cudi Cover) - Lissie
13)I Will Follow You Into the Dark (Deathcab cover) - Amy Millan
14)Everybody Knows (Leonard Cohen cover) - Elizabeth & the Catapults
15)Know Better Learn Faster (live) - Thao & Mirah with The Most of All
16)Our Deal - Best Coast
