I feel downright pleased to be able to form part of your family.

My name’s Vidushi, aged 24. A student in psychology, I currently work for a Unit that engages in the protection and development of children at risk or who have been abused.

The WT relationship is my newest love interest and the way my heartstrings have been going on about these two since this discovery, I feel I’ll be here for keeps. The threads are pretty neat and so are some of the fiction stories. Great work there on the board .

Hello all!

Been lurking for a while now, decided to come out. Classes are out, finally, and now I'll have time to do all the silly things I love. Hanging on the 'net, reading fics, rewatching my favorite tv shows and animes (yes, I am one of those anime nuts - I even sing in Japanese!). Ah, freedom. I still gotta work, but at least it's much less pressure on me - no deadlines and tests to worry about. Maybe I'll even get the inspiration to write something other than my daily journal, who knows.

Anyway, I'm Anna (now I get around to introducing myself, geez!), 19, college student and budding translator of English. Nothing much more interesting to say, I guess.

Hello everyone!

I've been lurking here since about midsummer and finally decided to register. My name in Jani and I'm from Finland. I watched Buffy first when they were broadcasting third season here. I think it was around 2001. For some strange reason (the reason is not that I didn't like it, because I did...) I stopped watching before season 4 began and it wasn't until spring 2006 that I found it again, thanks to my friend who sold me his Buffy Collection containing all seven seasons.

I liked Willow's character from the beginning. I knew about her relationship with Tara even before I finally saw season four, and I have to admit I wasn't sure it would work since I liked Oz very much too. But the more I saw them together, the more I liked them together and the more I liked Tara. Sadly I heard (or actually read) about Tara's death before I saw SR and surprised myself by getting extremely sad and angry. I don't usually became sad about things in TV or movies Maybe it has something to do with the Y-chromosome, or maybe not.

Well. Somewhat half a year ago I found this board when I was looking for information about Miss Kitty Fantasticos weird disappearance. I'd never read any fanfics before but decided to give it a try and a bit later found myself completely hooked to W&T stories. Like I said I liked the couple very much even before, but now I'm in love with them. Maybe I'll write something myself some day.

Maybe a word or two about myself too. I study Physics in the University and my third year is about to begin at Monday. Hobbies include computers, playing electric guitar and other stuff. I live with my girlfriend, whom I've been dating for about 4 yrs now. I've been active in many boards before, but this actually is the first English one what makes this a bit exciting. Also I seem to have a problem writing short introduction posts... I really meant to write just a few words but this got a bit out of hand. But hey, ready now!

I've watched Buffy since the first season aired, and Willow had always been my favorite character. Her loyalty and bookish charm had really endeared me to her. When Tara came along, I really saw Willow's character blossom, and it was so nice to have a real lesbian couple on TV. The fact that Amber is ridiculously hot didn't hurt either.

Anyway, I'm new at this; so, please forgive me if I screw up.

Hey, cavortingbeasty! (Are you channeling van Leeuwenhoek?) I'm studying philosophy, too, and we were just talking the other day about how, while emphasis on Logic is one of the ways the Analytic and Continental schools differ, even within the Analytic tradition, Logic has kind of fallen out of favor, at least in that it's no longer a requirement to study formal Logic in Philosophy programs everywhere in the US and UK as it used to be. (Which is good for me because I lean toward the Continental perspective anyway.)

hey! i am a 20 year old fan from greece , unfortunatelly here the tv stations didnt air a single episode of buffy-and subsequently no willow and tara goodness- so we got to watch them on dvd.My aunt from Australia encouraged me to do so and she and i both LOVE Amber Benson!!
