Hi all. I'm Anne.

I'm very new to both the Buffyverse and this board. I found Buffy on DVD last spring and now own all of them. I've seen most episodes at least twice, but I haven't been able to make myself go back to the last couple of episodes of season six, and of course season seven for obvious reasons. I'm actually crying thinking about it as I write this.

From the first episode onwards I was hooked on Willow and by this time I feel like I'm madly in love with her. But I love Tara too, and because of that I can't easily go beyond Seeing Red. It still amazes me that I have been lucky enough to find two characters that I can identify with so thorougly. I'm both of them, shy, babbly, nerdy, desperate for passion, wiccan, lesbian, academic and more, and then I found this board where I get to keep exploring their many worlds with all of you.

I've only been visiting here for about two weeks, but I knew almost immediately that I'd found another home. Anyway, I'm 29, I'm a geologist by training, and a photographer and writer by inclination, although I'm currently between jobs. I'm a voracious reader, I love classical music as well as the more modern genre called Ecto, I'm passionate about the outdoors, Wiccan, a MtoF transexual and lesbian, and lots more besides.

To my great surprise I've already started writing a fic and I hope I'll be far enough along with it to start posting in the not too distant future. Although I have to admit that I'm already a bit intimidated by the quality of the writing going on here.

Hi everyone... I'm not really new to the kitten, just have a new sn. I used to be Mainer on the board, but I've gone through some big hurdles lately and decided it was time to come back to doing what I love which is writing w/t fan fic. Hopefully I'll get a chance to finish up those stories that I've left undone and share some of my new work with you all. I'm really glad to be back. Oh I guess I should give a little better of an intro than that... I live in Maine again, I'm 28, I have two cats soon to be three I'm getting a new little one in two weeks, right now I'm on leave from my job, having some trouble sorting out my current health condition with my doctors. I'm sure all will be well soon. I look forward to posting more and getting some great feedback on my fics.

I had heard that there was a lesbian relationship on the show while it was still broadcasting, but I didn't have cable at the time. I liked Willow from the very start and thought her relationship with Tara was (and remains) one of the most realistic lesbian relationships shown on TV. Yay - I'm happy I found this board. Both here and in RL. I found this board back in high school around 02' and signed up this past year. Did once before but things happen and well.. you know how it goes. Gotta say that this place has kept me sane through this wacky, fun thing we call life. Gave me something to look forward to.

If your questioning your sexuality and you find out you feel more when your reading about two women vs. a man and a women, well it gives you a clue. So I wanna say thanks to those of you who created the kittenboard. You gave me my clue.
