HAPPY THURSDAY KITTENS!!! As I live in the Uk it has been a Thursday here for over 5 hours! So Lots of Pink Elephants eh?

Okay so now I need to go navigate more job applications. I did have one interview yesterday. Funny thing - one of the best signs that the interview went well was the amount of cat fur on my shirt when I left. The normally standoffish office cat loved me. Folks there were seriously impressed.

Thursday's theme music ought to be something funky, like the theme from Shaft. Friday's ...The Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's "Messiah."

Hmmm... something mid-movie triumphant, indicating that an intermediate quest/dilemma (like say, Wednesday...) has been conquered and that the protagonist has moved on into the m.o. that will propel him/her forward, through the climax, to triumph/realization/truth/catastrophe/love/misc. other endings including weekends.

So upbeat with a dash of grim determination, and maybe a brief pensive passage as the plot and it's revelations are rehashed. Oh yeah. Thursday.

Somebody call U.O. or Artemis - I have faith that suggestions will follow.

I'm so temporally appropriate - I just watched the Willow hand episode last night. I'm inordinately fond of any scene in the Magic Box in which Tara appears. It's a bit her turf somehow.

So it's Thursday, and it is once again raining here, making it impossible to plow or work towards tillage. Blah.

So I think I'll spend a good chunk of the day obsessively checking emails and phone messages, hoping someone calls me for a job interview.

Thank you, thank you everyone! It wasn't easy holding back till today - particularly with Dianneswillowtree showing me dancing elephants & bananas - but I was so close to Thursday, it would've been a shame to waste it.

In retrospect, I rather enjoyed being Extra Flamey; that's probably my favourite title on the list, right up there with Troll Hammer.

@Boschi -
"Tillage?" Is that a real word, or a Willow-ism? Contrary to popular belief English IS my first language, but something about this word just doesn't strike me as proper. I hope it isn't because I rather like the sound of it.

Yeah, I'm with you on Tara in the Magic Box, too. Loved that line of Giles in Family ... "You're in a magic shop, and you can't think what Tara would like? I believe you're both profoundly stupid."


In other "It's Just Thursday, MKF!" news, I'm leaving work after lunch this afternoon and flying out to North Carolina for a 3-day weekend with my old high school friends! Woo hoo!! I think I'm gonna go post now in the "What are you eating/drinking?" thread about the staggering amount of beer and pizza I'm planning to consume ...

The weather doesn't seem to realize it's Thursday today, though. It's hot and stiflingly humid. Expecting thunderstorms later in the day. Not that something like the weather is going to ruin my day (unless it blows my house away, or something like that), but a little cooperation would've been nice.

Mrs. Gorn has the rest of the week off, so I actually got to (was forced to) eat a decent breakfast for a change!
