wow! listing things!
I preffere writing notes in "post-it" I don't know if you call it the same. they are that small yellow pieces of paper which have some kind of glue on the edge so you can stick them all over the PC or in my case all over the house and then....forget to read them. :blush
here's my list. every note that i have written in a "post-it" 'round my bedroom.
- get phoebe's new phone number (she's working abroad)
- ask dad how can I install linux so it runs just when I need it.
- ¿have you phoned school to know if you are admited for the next year?
- Laura phoned. something 'bout a concert. are you going to a concert? (that was written by my father and stiked in my forehead)
- look for my old skate (and sticked next to it) get tools, it's screewed up, try to remember how did I break it.
- download the perfect song for my perfect girl
- ask mom for money. remember the puppy eyes and angelical smile.
- brianna comes the 27th. ask her soon when is she leaving so I can arrange everything to leave with her.
- carpe diem

Things that have finally driven me over the edge:

-Can't find a fucking job.
-Don't have a computer at home on which to do schoolwork, fic writing and message board posting.
-Having to wake up at five am EVERY SINGLE GODS DAMNED MORNING and go to the college because of it.
-Losing my girlfriend's ring because of doing the above for so long that I have lost the ability to think clearly and can't remember what the fuck I did with it.
-Going to sleep at 8pm last night, yet waking up at 5am this morning and still feeling like I'm sleepwalking through half the day.

Things that are depressing me:

- Money stress/rent
- Exam results coming soon
- Strange dreams
- Missing folks (6 weeks to go til I see them :))
- Seeming lack of decent girls to attempt to date

(Happily there's a bigger list of good things, one of which is the staff advance show of Superman Returns, which I get to see in 5 hours time! *rushes off*)

Things I've Achieved So Far This Week

1. After a month of (im)patiently waiting, I've finally managed to agree on a price with the seller for a car I've had my eye on.
2. Paid holding deposit to aforementioned seller so he won't flog the car off to someone else before I get there (as I'm in Canberra and the car's in Brisbane).
3. Harrassed aforementioned seller for three days straight in order to get him to fax me a copy of the roadworthy/safety certificate for the vehicle in question.
4. Booked airfare to Brisbane for Saturday morning.
5. Made contact with an old mate who now lives in Brisbane, who has kindly offered to pick me up at the airport and drive me to the seller's house.
6. Arranged for a REVS check to make sure the vehicle has no finance owing on it.
7. Arranged for my comprehensive insurance and road service to cover the new vehicle as of Saturday.
8. Planned out route for driving home from Brisbane, and booked accommodation at Port Macquarie for Saturday night.
9. Booked a vehicle inspection for next week in order to change the rego on my new car over from QLD to ACT.
10. Waited until I'd done all of the above before telling my parents (aka The Biggest Worriers In The World) about it. Once they calmed down and realised the world won't end just cause I'm driving 1200km, they offered to take me to the airport on Saturday and feed my cats while I'm gone. :p
11. Went to the bank and arranged a cheque for the purchase price of the vehicle (less the holding deposit).
12. Printed out flight itinerary, accommodation booking confirmation, and detailed driving directions.

Now all that's left to do is pack a bag, fly to Brissie tomorrow morning, finalise the purchase and drive home. Simple, really. :paranoid

List of comics in tomorrow's shipment that I'm getting:
  • She-Hulk #8 Juan Bobillo cover reprint
  • She-Hulk #9 (she's gettin' married!)
  • Cable & Deadpool #30
  • Civil War #3
  • Civil War: X-Men #1
  • Daily Bugle Civil War newspaper
  • X-Factor #9
  • Daughters of the Dragon #6 (kung fu!)
  • 52 #11 (lesbian Batwoman!)
  • Supergirl and the Legion of Superheroes #20
  • Witchblade #100
  • Wonder Woman #1
Twelve! I swear they do this on purpose. It's been three or four the last couple of weeks, and now they hit me with twelve all at once. Luckily I put some extra of last week's buy-pointless-stuff-because-it-keeps-me-sane budget into savings, otherwise I'd be looking at a 'read comics or eat food' choice this week, and I'm honestly not sure which way I'd go there...

To Do:

1) Call owner of property I am interested in purchasing
2) Pump said owner for info on other, similar properties in area
3) Pick the field and high tunnel tomatoes.
4) Avoid heatstroke
5) Pay student loan bills.... aargh.
6) Contact advisor on techniques for basic identification of fungal and bacterial colonies. (Kitten-Geeks? Kitten-Nerds? Have you any thoughts on this? Plating on to TSA and Sabourad Dextrose, samples are from compost.)
7) Get the stuff to make hash browns for Sunday morning. Hmm... and buy coffee too.
8) Have a beer with friend who has been hit by a car twice this month.

Things to do before vacation to DC

Choose hotel (Any Kittens know of a good place to stay near sight-seeing central and still in a gay area?)
    Get Metro map and passes
Other than the Museum of Women in the Arts, decide which musuems to visit
Plan trip to WWII memorial to find my aunt's father's name on the wall
    Print out etickets
Withdraw vacation cash from credit union
    Set up cat-sitting
Have my head examined for vacationing in DC in August
My one and only wrecking ball
and you're crashing through my walls

reasons why I fell in love

    she is intelligent
    sometimes she gets so freaky
    she's different
she listens to me with the heart
    her silky skin
deep dangerous but actually innocent eyes
    vixeny wicked glances
    she's funny
curvaceous body, ok she's just Hot!
dreamy noises while she sleeps (adorable :sleepy )
    nice hands
    ununderstendable shocking ideas and thoughts.
    small red lips
    wonderful, sexy, curly hair
she's really talented when it comes to teasing.
she's rather shy under her tough apearence.
these secret pleces in her body that make her shake.

    but the main reasons
[list=]she got my heart by just talking
she became my best friend with an embrass
    she kissed me without knowing
and finally she made love to me without meaning
and even that way, without wanting to flirt with me she made me fall in love.
