LOL it just occured to me that I dont think Ive ever posted in the intro thread so here's my belated intro

I'm Emma or Sticks, I'm a Brit currently living in the hell of Newcastle whilst studying at university, I've been a Kitten since...oh god I actually can't remember LOL. I lurked for a while at the old board around 2002, then joined 2003 I guess, so around 2 years now I think, I've mainly lurked and posted occasional fics, until recently when I decided to show my utmost devotion to the Kitten cause

I'm also a Star Wars nut and have my own site *shameless plug LOL* and love reading and writing, DVDs, theatre, music, chilling with friends, debating, being a total geek...

Mm, hi.
Am 17, currently studying in Melbourne, Australia.
Decided to, for the sake of it, complete Buffy one day, and unexpectedly I got hooked. Record would be a straight 18 hours Buffy back-to-back eps (normally just 11 hours or so ;P). I think VideoEzy must love me. I tried Angel, but eh, got bored with it and thus stopped after end of Season 2.
Occasionally I dabble in banner making (for a game I don't play now) and am trying out wallpaper-making. At times when I'm on irc, I idle a lot (since I usually leave my comp on). Am also rather interested in philosophical/hypothetical discussions.

I suck at introductions.. well, i should start by saying I'm 17, live in Brazil and like to read WT fanfics, which leads to why I'm here now writting an introduction in a WT fanfic board I guess.
I've read lots of fanfic here in the past but I only decided to register now. There're some great writers here. I'm not so good with the words, but I'm trying to write a fic, maybe I'll post it here someday if I dont give up on it.
Well, I guess that was it.. Oh, and I hope to make lots of friends here, you guys seem really funny and nice people

The name's Lilly. I"m from Australia and have been a BTVS fan for quite a while now. I've always been into the sheer romanticism of the Willow/Tara relationship but have only recently started reading fanfic. A mate of mine told me about this board so I figured I'd sign up.

I'm a junior accountant by trade but a closeted novelist by passion.

For the moment I'll be satisfying my WT needs by reading what all you wonderful authors have written. However, if the muse comes to me, I might share some of my own work eventually.

just wanted to say that this message board rocks!

i've been reading fanfics since the beginning of this year... it just accidnetally happened. i was trying to look for a song to download from the net and what i downloaded instead was a video of will and tara with the song that i wanted. i was not familiar with buffy at that time (and to think that, the buffy season has been long over) - it's a shame really. i'm not a tv person so there...

anyways, it spraked the beginning of me searching for any will/tara related stuff... even ended up buying the dvd set of buffy, which i'm not regretting anyways!

hope this board will stay longer - looking forward to reading more neat stuff

I'm Michelle and I live in Denver, CO. I've been a Buffy fan since the show premiered way back when not to mention a HUGE W/T fan. Not sure how I missed the wonderful world of W/T fan fic while the show was still one, but I'm happy to say the I've found it and I'm loving every word of it.

I've finally decided that yes, I really DO need a college degree so I've joined the ranks as an "adult learner" at Regis University. Is it me, or does "adult learner" sound derogatory, like people that should be kept away from society? I'm sleep deprived, so perhaps it's just me

Must get back to the research paper that's due much sooner than I'd like. Just wanted to say hi.

So I'm new to the board, or rather I have lurked in the shadows for about... 2 years reading almost everything on the board. However, I finally decided to join and work up the courage to post some of the things I've written.

My name is Camilla (allthough my friends call me Smilis) and I'm studying to become a teacher. Actually, come Xmas I'll be a real teacher not just a student teacher... Yay for me

Anyway, I'm currently living in a very small town in the southern part of Sweden and right now I'm
a) trying to stay alive during the winter
b) working on one of the 50 essays I have to do before graduating this Xmas
c) hoping against all odds that I'll find myself a nice well- paid job.

So, the last seasons of Buffy only aired for the first time last spring so I had read a lot of fiction before that but it wasn't until i saw W/T interact for the first time that i really fell in love with them. Since then I have written a number of fictions but I've never really posted anything but maybe now, when I have read so much I'll do it... We'll se...

I've been lurking here for about a month now, finally decided to come out of hiding and introduce myself.

Um, my name's Sasha, but then again you can see that (actually, if we're being technical here, Sasha isn't my real name, but I'm always Sasha on the internet). I live in Nottingham, UK, but I guess you can see that too if my profile is working. I'm 14, therefore still in full-time education, but I'm home tutored instead if going to school, which means I have a lot of free time and spend a lot of time on the internet. I've been watching BtVS since this summer... as I said already, I have a lot of free time and get bored quickly, so I rented some BtVS vids from our video rental place, and worked my way through all seven seasons. I fell in love with Willow as soon as I saw her, and obviously I love Tara too, otherwise I wouldn't be here!

I'm no stranger to the internet, I'm a moderator on a rat forum (can I plug again? http://www.ratchat.co.uk ) and a member of serveral other rat/mouse forums, but this is a whole different world for me, I don't know anyone here yet, so I'm feeling rather shy.

my name's Kirstin and im from the Philippines. im 16 years old and i'm a member for 15 months now but i was using a different nick back then. im a senior in high school and i'll be graduating next year, in March. (YAY!!) i play guitar and i love dancing and singing.

i love Willow and Tara. The first time i saw them was in Tough Love and i thought they were bestfriends cos most of the parts and conversations showing that they're girlfriends were cut/edited. after Glory sucked Tara's brain and Willow was looking out for her i was like, "awww.. i want someone who'd take care for me.. just like that" and then i couldn't watch the following episodes cos some people in the household won't let me. (ha! i know.. im clueless)

then i sorta caught one episode in season 7 with some things in it and then i knew. so i searched for willow and found out about tara, then heard of fan fictions about them, clicked one link.. and here i am!!

umm.. i guess that's all i can share.

I'm Jason Barnett, a big time Willow/Tara fan. I've done some short ficlet type stuff for Willow/Tara, but I'm really not very good at epic or romantic stuff. I signed up because I've got some ideas for fanfics, I'd like to toss out, see if anyone can work with them.

I've discussed WIllow/Tara on some places like Google groups, but I'll admit I've got some unpopular opinions.

I've always like Tara best when she was written (as I put it) as an appendage of Willow. It's nothing against the character, I felt that way about all the characters in Buffy who were introduced as love interests, Oz, Anya, Riley and Tara. But I always felt that her objecting to Willow's magic was out of character, especially after what she did to hide her "secret.

I've always kind of agreed with the sentiment espoused in Doppelgangland. Willow was the best of them.

The warning about magic generally sounded shallow, especially coming from a guy who was emotionally scared by magic. And Tara lost a lot of credibilty to me when it was revealed she couldn't even tell she wasn't really a demon, despite her aura reading abilty. I guess for it to work for me I needed a mentally healthy, totally competent person explaining it. If Jenny Calendar had survivied and warned Willow of the dangers I probably would've believed it more than I did.

Tara's screwing the demon locator spell, intending to lie about herself for nearly a year, and performing the demon blindness spell really rank fairly equally with Willow's memory spells. Especially since one was aty least partially to help Buffy get over her depression(god I hated that story arc)

I didn't like Willow going to Rack, mostly because I don't think she'd be that trusting after six years fighting the bad guys. I always had a hard time believing Amy knew Rack because we saw the kind of chaos stoned magic users could cause. And Richard Wilkins liked order in his town and for things to be easily deniable. So I felt like she was being set up since she had that spell to transform Amy back to human just popped into her head.

I always like to point out that if Willow hadn't given up magic Tara would probably be alive. Remember when the Trio made Buffy invisible? Willow was there at the end. If she used magic, she'd have just turned them into rats or bounced them off the back wall, knocking them out and leaving them for the police, who we were supposed to assume were competant enough to hold them.

Just registered, so I reckon I should introduce myself. I'm Alex and I'm a 25 years old system analyst and programmer. Yup, a professional nerd. That said, you should be able to guess my computer is basically attached to me, as is my cellphone, pager, palmtop and every other little gadget I own. Oh yeah, I'm a big honking nerd slash technofreak. To quote a fic I read somewhere, I'm like Dilbert on steroids, only with a much cuter dog.

I also happen to be a big W/T fan. They're my favorite BtVS shipper, really. I've read about every fic posted here and, though I haven't been forthcoming with my opinion, I enjoy them immensely. Since I'm coming out of the lurkdom closet, I'll be now leaving lots and lots of feedback.

Who knows, maybe I'll even write something. Till now all I've written are some originals featuring big nerds like myself. My girlfriend says I should try something without tons of techno gibberish. I think I'll do that.

Not sure I do now, but I figured that if I didn't hurry up and take the plunge, I never would! This is always the place that I go to for good fic, laugh-out-loud humour and intelligent discussions about the issues that affect me as a lesbian.
