Darn it, I somehow missed seeing chapter 17 altogether... but I'm all up to date now (and have everything likewise up to date on Looking-glass, sorry 'bout that).



So, Tara's plan to clear her name - well, that was pretty good. It's interesting to see that she can scheme and manipulate so well, she's such an inherently honest person that this side of her really doesn't show much. It's actually kind of cool Naturally she only does it for the best of motives, and I can see exactly what she was thinking, unless there was some official explanation for her presence at that building Willow's career was in real danger of going down the drain (not to mention questions of impeding a murder investigation, which could've led back to Tara and ended up with both of them in really hot water).



Speaking of hot water though, nice bubble bath! Sure that kind of thing isn't specifically what magic is for, but I can't see any objection to both of them developing their 'remote fondling' skills once the present danger has passed



It was also cool (in an embarrassing kind of way) to see Tara hold her own in a catfight with Faith - she's no pushover



And now Tara's officially in the clear - if anyone wants to pin the Smiler murders on her, they're going to have to explain how one could take place while she was in a cell. I appreciated Tara's regret that she got into that fight with Faith, but I think Willow's right, there's no guarantee that Tara could've prevented the killing if she'd been out and about, and her and Willow together stand a much better chance now.

Tara laughed loudly, running her fingers through wet red hair, "I sure had you pegged right, didn't I my little harlot? Maybe if you promise to be a good girl, we can figure out a way to combine the two...how does that sound?"



"Magical."



"You are such a dweeb..."



"Feh...you know you love me."



"With all my heart, baby...not to mention a few other parts."



"Mmmmmm, me too Tara...always," Willow whispered, taking the blue-eyed beauty in her arms, kissing her softly and lovingly.



In no time at all, the kisses became deeper and more passionate...hands roaming...exploring...a panting rising in them both. Soon the lovers found themselves wrestling wet and naked on the bed, scarcely aware of how they'd gotten there but fairly certain that they'd skipped the bit with the towels. Tara laughed boisterously as Willow flipped and straddled her, pinning her hands above her head.



"Whaddya say this time we tie you up?" the redhead teased.



"Ooh, you'd like that, wouldn't you?" Tara countered with a quick tickle and roll, claiming the top position for herself.



"Hey! No Fair!" Willow pouted, "Anyway, we're getting the sheets all wet."



"Don't we always?" Tara purred seductively, nipping at her prostrate lover's lips.



"I suppose I can't fault your logic there...but I think after the way you left me yesterday, I ought to get a chance to torment you for a change."



"I see," she nibbled at the pale neck stretched before her, "Looking for a little payback then, are we?"



"Maybe," Willow teased, coyly.



"Uh-uh...not gonna happen...you want to tie me up, you'll need a better convincer than that."



"What if I promised you mind-blowing pleasure?"



"Oh, I'll get that anyway..."



"My, aren't we confident?"



"Uh-huh...you know as well as I do that you can't resist me."



"You don't play fair," Willow pouted.



Tara leaned down and sucked at the redhead's protruding lip, "You want fair, huh? OK then, what do you say we strike a deal? I just thought of a way that we can play and you can practice your magic at the same time."



Willow nipped at the luscious lips above her, catching the lower one between her teeth and tugging lightly in challenge, "Enlighten me..."



"Well..." Tara said seductively, fastening the cool metal bracelet around her lover's wrist, "This is how it's going to work..." she paused to take a brief nibble at an earlobe, "If you can magic your way out of these handcuffs...then you can have me..." kiss...kiss... "Any way you want me...agreed?"



"Oh yes..." Willow moaned.

"And just what sort of distraction did you have in mind?" she inquired suggestively.



"I was thinking this might be a good time to work on your Latin."



"Oh yeah, baby...tie me up and give me a vocab test...that's so hot," Willow dead-panned.



"Watch that attitude, little one," the wicked Tara warned, giving her redhead's nipples a rather hard pinch.

"Shall we begin our lesson, then?" she purred in a certain familiar tone, an evil glint in her eye.



"Yes...please," Willow whimpered in anticipation.



"Alright then, my little harlot...these are the rules...if you want me to make love to you..." she took a few teasing nips at her partner's lips, "You're going to have to tell me exactly what you want...in Latin...get your words right and you get your just rewards..." she leaned down and took a quick lick and a hard suck at a swollen pink nipple, "But I won't do anything unless you tell me to...do you understand?"



"Yes, Tara," Willow replied submissively, subtlely testing her restraints.

The wicked blonde only grinned in response, sitting back on her heels and waiting for further instruction.



"Oscularas mea collem." Tara complied, the feel of her lips all over Willow's neck making it that much more difficult to recall her verbs. "Mmmmmm...arrodas," she nibbled lightly at the tender flesh, "Sugas...oh yes...right there, baby..."



"Latin, Willow," Tara tsked, shaking her head.



"Oscularas mea mammas," the redhead moaned desperately.



The sultry blonde trailed her lips down the pale graceful neck, making her way to small, firm breasts, covering them with kisses.
