Hi!

Sorry I haven't left any feedback in a while.

My computer blew up and I was without it for 3 torturous weeks.

But I read the last couple of updates and, as Tony the Tiger would say, they're GREAT! I can't tell you how much I missed this story during my period of computer-less Hell.

I thought it was SO sweet when Lydia and Jules asked

"Daddy-Tara" to move in with them. That was just SO precious!

And now Anya's having her second child! I hope it's a girl!

I think Ryan would be a good big brother to a little sister!

Anyway........Great updates and I can't wait for the next chapter!!

Hi Jeanne First let me just say that I loved this update. The whole visual of Ryan in snoopy pajamas with tousled hair was soooo cute. I want a pair of snoopy pajamas... ( hm....I wonder if they make them in size me ) Ryan seems like such a cute kid, and Im kinda curious to see exactly how Anya interacts with him... We've heard all about what she says, but I don't think she's ever been in the actual room with him.



Oh and...Anya's having the baby!! Yay... I hope its a girl...no wait...I hope it's a boy...no a girl...boy...girl... boy... *Shouts enthusiastically* I HOPE IT'S TWINS!



okay..now onto the next thing I'd like to discuss...Tara's sandwiches: They did indeed sound yummy.



And Willow admitting that she lets Lydia and Julia walk around with a basket at the supermarket was too funny! I wish my mom had let me do that when I was a kid...



This was a really memorable update Jeanne.. from snoopy pajamas to broken pipes, you had me smilin' the whole time...I can't say enough how much I adore this story and I do hope that the next update isn't too far away.

Anya’s piercing growl sounded through the maternity ward just as Willow, Tara and the children walked into the waiting area.



“I’m guessing that’s the sort of thing Xander didn’t want Ryan to hear.” Tara told her love whose hands were pressed against the little boys ears.

“Maybe we should take the kids to the park across the street and come back in a little while.” Willow suggested as they walked over to where the rest of the Scoobies were already sat.

“Oh no, you’re not getting out of hanging around here getting bored just ‘cos you don’t want the kids to hear Anya’s potty mouth. Anya sat and waited nicely while you were having Lydie and Jules; you can have the decency to do the same for her now.” Buffy lectured, looking up from the card game she was playing with Dawn and Kate.

“Anya and Xander had… kids cover your ears. Anya and Xander found an empty room and had sex when I was having the twins.” Willow reminded the slayer in a vehement whisper.

“Mmm, I think we could definitely have the decency to do the same for her.” Tara whispered seductively to the redhead who blushed.



“Okay we’ll stay but, maybe we should get some ear plugs or something for Ryan and the girls. I mean, we can’t expect them to sit with their hands over their ears until the baby’s born can we? You know, they should make delivery rooms soundproof, ‘cos really, who wants people to be able to hear them giving birth?”

“Oh god, she did this babble when Ryan was born. We’re stuck in déjà babble land.” Dawn stated in dramatic mock fear.

Kate chuckled and kissed the brunette’s cheek.

“Hey, I can hear you, you know?” Willow pouted.

“Chill out, they’re giving Anya an epidural; she won’t be shouting any more profanities.”

“What’s a prof… pro-france-city?” Lydia asked, an inquisitive frown crumpling her brow.

“Pro-fan-it-y.” Willow sounded out to her daughter. “Profanities are naughty words honey.”



A strangled cry of pain emanated from Anya’s room and Ryan looked around anxiously, his little face pale. Seeking reassurance the little boy climbed onto Willow’s lap and curled into her arms.

“Is mama okay?” He whispered fearfully, a single tear rolling down his cheek.

“Oh Ryan, sweetheart, your mama’s okay. Her tummy hurts, but, the doctors are going to give her some medicine to stop it hurting.”

“When will the baby be here?”

“I’m not sure sweetie, we just have to wait.”

Three hours later…



“I’m bored.”



The complaint didn’t come from one of the children as you would expect; they were at the park with Dawn and Kate. It came instead, from a restless slayer, who was currently pacing around the waiting area in an attempt to dispel some energy.



“Buffy, you’re not the expectant father; sit down before you wear the entire carpet down.” Willow was beginning to get dizzy from watching her best friend circle the room.

“Slayers don’t sit.”

“Yes they do, I’ve seen you sit lots of times, sometimes for a whole, five minutes at a time even.”



Tara coughed to hide a giggle, which earned her a glare from Buffy.



“Hey! Don’t look at my girl like that!” Willow commanded with semi-playful indignation, her arms folded across her chest.



Buffy and Tara both turned their attention to the redhead, taking in her ‘threatening’ posture, and promptly collapsed into fits of giggles.



At that moment Dawn and Kate returned with the children and regarded the three women, the two blondes doubled over in laughter and the redhead pouting grumpily.



“Oh god, hysteria’s hit. Maybe we should go back to the park?” Dawn whispered conspiratorially to her fiancée.

“The kids are hungry; we came back so they could have lunch.”

“We could just, grab the food and run.”

“The food is underneath Tara’s chair, we couldn’t grab it without being seen. Besides, it was just starting to rain as we left the park, we may as well just, stay here.” Kate reasoned with her girl.

“Yeah okay, but I am so not going anywhere near hysterical Buffy, that’s way too scary.” Dawn shivered at the thought.



“Hey, did you get bored of the park already?” Willow asked her daughter’s in disbelief.

“We’re hungry and it’s starting to rain.” Julia explained.



Tara glanced up at the clock on the wall and realised that it was indeed lunch-time, so she pulled the picnic basket out from under her chair and set it on the table.



“Dig in everyone. Kids, eat your sandwiches before you start on the junk food okay?” The blonde instructed, handing the children a sandwich each.

“Okay Tada.” The twins giggled in synch.

“Tada?” Buffy frowned.

“Yeah, ‘cos uhm, it’s Tara and dad squashed together and that makes Tada, sort of, and we thought it sounded really good, so, uhm, is it okay for us to call you that? Will uhm, I mean, do you want to be our Tada?” Both Lydia and Julia’s eyes pleaded anxiously with Tara.

“My sweet little girls, I think that is the cutest thing anybody has ever called me. I would love to be your Tada.” Tara beamed and engulfed the twins in a tight hug.

An hour later…



Once everyone was finished with the picnic Ryan crawled onto Dawn’s lap and fell asleep. Buffy took Lydie and Jules to the gift shop to buy a teddy for the new baby and Willow and Tara disappeared together, giggling something about needing to ‘stretch their legs’.



“Ten bucks says those two are sneaking off for a quickie.” Kate mused as she watched Willow squeeze Tara’s ass as they disappeared down a corridor.

“Eeewww, Willow’s like, my honorary big sister, I really don’t wanna think about her having sex!” Dawn practically hissed in repulsion.

“Yeah, that sounds good.” Kate agreed, leaning over to kiss her fiancée softly.

What do you mean? There was plenty of baby in this part: there was "Willow, baby," and several "Oh yes baby," and I certainly couldn't forget the "Ooohhh, baby." Oh, that wasn't what you meant? My bad.



This had so many great little character moments. I love the image of Anya screaming for drugs, and Buffy pacing nervously (if the girl has nothing to fight, she's lost). Willow telling the kids to cover their ears. And hey! Go Tara with the naughty payback! Maybe Anya could stay in labor for a while longer, hmm?

Do I smell smut? Well, yes I do!! Must be my highly sensitive smut bunny nose. It twitches for smut (along with other body parts ).
