Chapter 7





“Xander I don’t have new girlfriend. I do have someone, but Im not telling you. And whining and pouting isn’t gonna work. So stop.”



Willow slams her locker shut. It was just after the last period of the day and Willow wanted to go home. She was in a foul mood and didn’t care if she was expressing her anger out on Xander. He had been bugging her all day about whether or not if she had a new “fuck buddy” as he so bluntly put it. Willow was just having a bad week overall. She had failed two tests in American Government, forgot her homework two days in a row for English, had gotten grounded for violating her curfew after a night out at the Bronze, and she was bordering on failing Art, ART of all things. She just didn’t understand, sure she wasn’t that very artistic (as Buffy had pointed out at least a dozen different times), but she worked hard, and even turned in a couple of assignments early. How could Tara do that? Especially after we....



“Ok Will, geeze. Can’t blame a guy for asking, sorry.” Xander says sauntering off. Willow just lets him leave, not really caring if she had hurt his feelings or not. That’s what he gets for thinking with his dick instead of his fucking brain. Willow thought as she made her way through the mass of people in the hallway heading towards her car. As part of her punishment for missing her curfew, she had to go straight home after school, and wasn’t allowed to take anyone home either. She stops suddenly at the sound of her name being shouted. Turning around she sees Faith heading towards her, a grin on her face. Damn me for thinking this, but she looks great today. Which was true, Faith was wearing a black leather skirt, fishnet stockings, black boots, and a sultry red top to match the rest of her outfit. Not to mention kinda slutty too.



“Hey Red.” Faith says, as she walks up to her.

“Faith. How are you?” Willow asks, making an attempt at nice.

“5by5.” She says with a shrug.

“I’ll interpret that as good.” Willow says dryly.

“Yeah. So I was wondering if you could let me ride with you. Take a girl home and all.” Faith says moving closer to Willow, eyes roaming her body which makes Willow shift uncomfortably.

“I’m not supposed to give anyone a ride home Faith, being grounded and all. Why don’t you just walk? You only live a block away from me.” She says.

“It’s too damn hot to be walking out here Red. I might have a stroke our something.” Faith says with a pout. Willow didn’t doubt that what with all the leather and black she was wearing. And it WAS hot, even if it was October.

With a sigh of exasperation, Willow nods. I know I’m gonna regret this.

“Alright Faith. I’ll give you a ride.” She says, Faith smiles.

“I owe you Red, big time.” She says with a wink and a touch to Willow’s arm which causes her to almost jump. Yep, this is gonna be fifteen minutes of weird.

Fifteen minutes later, Willow pulls up into Faith’s driveway. The ride had consisted of mainly silence, Willow highly aware of Faith’s eyes on her the entire time, and it was wigging her out.

“Do you like the band Tripside?” Faith asks suddenly as the car comes to a stop. Willow nods.

“Yeah, I like them a lot.” She says, looking at Faith. And she cares because....

“Got their unreleased album? You know they only made about two thousand copies.” Faith asks.

“No.” Willow says simply.

“Well I just happen to have an extra copy, its pretty good. I could give it to you.” Faith says, Willow just looks at her, contemplating that.

“Sure, I guess.” She says, and Faith smiles at that.

“Good. Come on.” She says, opening the door and climbing out. With some hesitation, Willow gets out of the car as well, following Faith inside her house. It smelled of cigarettes and urine, and the kitchen and the living room were a mess. White trash, go figure. Willow thought with a look of disgust on her face.

“Want something to drink?” Faith asks, tossing her book bag to the ground.

“No.” Willow says. I just wanna leave.

“Room’s down the hall.” Faith says, and Willow follows her in. She wasn’t surprised at the condition of the room. Clothes were strewn around the floor, the shelves of a bookcase were disheveled, and dresser drawers were half open. There was an assortment of candles here and there, along with glow in the dark neon posters along the walls.

“Sit down, the CD’s around here somewhere.” Faith says, digging around through the array of items on her desk. Willow sits down on the bed, surprised at the fact that it was neatly made. The only thing that wasn’t a mess in the entire house probably.

“Here it is!” Faith exclaims, turning around with the CD in hand, she sits next to Willow, too close to comfort maybe.

“Thanks Faith.” Willow says, taking the CD from her.

“No problem” Faith says, eyes still on Willow, who fidgets nervously. Faith was just being TOO nice. She was never nice.

“Faith, what do you want, really?” Willow asks, but Faith just grins.

“Well isn’t it obvious Red? I want you.” She says and leans into Willow, kissing her. But Willow pushes her back.

“What the hell are you doing!” She yells.

“Don’t act like you don’t want this. You’ve wanted this since that day at lunch.” Faith says, leaning into Willow to kiss her again., but Willow moves away from her.

“You’re wrong. I don’t want you Faith. You’re nothing to me.” She says coldly. But Faith just grins, putting her hand on Willows thigh, caressing it.

“Remember the fun we had Willow? Don’t tell me you forgot.” She says seductively. Willow moves Faith’s hand away, jumping up.

“Fun Faith? FUN?! You used me! For your own sadistic pleasure. I was a game to you. You discarded me and went to the next girl who would have you. You’re a whore. You’re trash. You know, I have someone. And she’s better then you could ever be. She makes me feel. And I feel, for her. And that’s something you could NEVER understand.” Willow yells, throwing the CD at her.

“Don’t ever come near me again.” She says, and walks out, down the hallway and out of the house. She gets into her car, slamming the door shut.

“That bitch.” She mumbles as she starts the car and drives off.



God look at me. I just yelled at Faith! I can’t believe I said that about Tara. What has she done to me??
