Hey, I just thought people might like to know that ecrush.com has a vote thing on for the celeb that people most fancy. Amber currently isn't on the list, but Aly is, and if you want to vote for Amber, it has a submit celeb option where you can put in a name and if it is entered in the form enough times, the person will be added to the vote list. Personally, I think this should be a Tara/Willow marathon and where the heck is ENTROPY and FAMILY and NMR. They should be at the top of the list IMHO.

So I encourage everyone to go and vote. Even if, like myself, you won't be able to watch. It would be great if every single episode they aired had some serious Willow/Tara footage. I heard about this a few days ago while watching 'Buffy' reruns on FX. I finally got a chance to vote tonight. The three eps I voted for were 'The Body', 'Family' and 'Entropy'. Hopefully, one or more of these will make their way to the top.

Actually, this isn't such a bad idea. (It's similar to something the Save Farscape website is doing to help keep their show on the air.) If everyone votes for Willow and Tara centric episodes, then there's a good chance we can get some, maybe all, of these episodes aired. Which would go a long way to showing how much popular Tara is, and how much the fans would like to see her back. I don't think it would matter much with Joss, since he doesn't seem to care that much about his fans anymore, but I bet it would make the execs sit up and take notice. Especially the ones at UPN, since they must be desperate at this point for anything that will boost the sagging ratings of the "hit show" they've spent so much money on. (Personally, I think Whedon owes UPN an apology as much as he owes the fans one.)



It might just get Joss to reconsider his screwing over--sorry--his "negotiations" with Amber if someone in charge made it clear that, yes, giving the fans what they want might be a good idea after all.

ok, I was gonna try and give a little update on the Buffy marathon, but either they havent updated the leaders or the same five are still the same as before.



I was mistaken in my earlier post. Apparently this is going to be a 14 hour thing. I dont know why we only get to vote for 3 episodes, but I'm thinking about emailing them to see if they would atleast show which 14 eps are in the running right now.



I'm also going to vote under all of my email addresses since you have to register each time and all. It's not cheating....ok well maybe it is but hey they make you use an email addy so I should be able to use ALL of mine.



I thoroughly encourage every kitten to go and vote. Even if you aren't gonna be able to watch or cant bear to watch. I'm kinda torn between both of those two.

THANK YOU, iceprincess2076! I was going to post about it the other day, but couldn't decide where to put it...so I got sidetracked and never did...



I think it would be -most amusing- if the winning episodes were all W/T centered episodes, or episodes with Tara in them...many kittens would probably be all, "neeheehee"..



Of course...our luck, FX would probably go, "wait a minute...this isn't a very balanced marathon...let's screw what the people want...and give them what they need.."...oh wait...I'm thinking of Joss, aren't I?...eh..whatever...they're getting to be one in the same, aren't they?



I dunno what's up with the whole "only 3 votes" thing either...pretty lame if you ask me. Oh well, I as well plan on voting with all my email addresses...and I was gonna see if I could get my coworkers and family and friends to go vote for various W/T related episodes as well.

Thanks for the info Nix, but I must say I am not all that pleased by those comments. Those nice words about Tara lose their charm somewhat by the shrugging and moving on, but I guess that fits the norm of Buffyverse these days. I do like it that Tara came in 33rd, not bad considering the warm welcome she and Amber Benson received after NMR. Kudos to Amber Benson and Alyson Hannigan. Ah and not that I care, but isn't Angel on that list? It would amuse me somewhat if he isn't.

Hey, I voted for W/T. I find it interesting how far ahead of them B/S is, something like 4,500 to 490. Oh well. Xena/Gabrielle are ahead too, but the highest, not by a huge margin is John Crichton/Aeryn Suyn (however her last name is spelled!). At least we are just ahead of B/A.

I doubt that B/S is really as far ahead as the numbers show. There are a few programs that function as "vote bots." You set them up then leave the computer. The program moves your cursor and votes for you while the computer is unattended.



If I dug around, I still might have one leftover from a voting spree with another board. However, maybe we should save it for a really good press poll?
