The Ditty Bops, Moon Over The Freeway,(Warner), http://www.thedittybops.com
Kaki King, ...until we felt red,(Velour), http://www.kakiking.com
Goldfrapp, Supernature,(Mute), http://www.goldfrapp.co.uk
Spiral Beach, s/t, self release, http://www.spiralbeach.com
Some Girls, Crushing Love,(Koch), http://www.some-girls.com
Juliana Hatfield, Made In China,(Ye Olde Records), http://www.julianahatfield.com

Be Your Own Pet, s/t,(Ecstatic Peace), http://www.beyourownpet.com
Morningwood, s/t,(EMI), http://www.morningwoodrocks.com

And of course every home should also have a copy of Tegan and Sara's dvd, If It's Not Fun,Don't Do It. Trust me on that one.

A few CD's I've been listening to:

Nip/Tuck Soundtrack
She Wants Revenge - She Wants Revenge
Ladytron - Light & Magic
The Rapture - Pieces of the People We Love
Lady Soveregin - Vertically Challeneged
Justin Timeberlake - FutureSex/LoveSounds
Christina Aguilera - Back to Basics

I really recommend She Wants Revenge.

I actually like Answer That and Stay Fashionable better than the new stuff. Although Sing the Sorrow and Decemberunderground are still works of pure genius. I guess I just like the raw punk aspect of ATaSF. Along with I Wanna Mohawk (But Mom Won't Let Me Get One).

Playlist for this week:

Alkaline Trio - This Could Be Love (I got a book of matches, I got a can of kerosine, I got some bad ideas.. Involving you and me.)
NoFX - Total Bummer (I don't wanna live life lonely, why does everyone have to be perfect?)
Zebrahead - Anthem (I got a girlfriend only she don't know it yet, got a six - stringed best friend who sleeps with a broken neck.)
Lemon Jelly - Nervous Tension (Total chill out song.. )
Less Than Jake - Overrated (Everything Is) (I think sex is overrated, so is always getting wasted, designer drugs and dead end jobs, and classic rock is so outdated.)
Dropkick Murphys - Your Spirit's Alive (We are the ones who will never be broken! We are the ones who survive!)
Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies (We find oursevles in the same old mess, singin' drunken lullabies.)
Goldfinger - Wasted (I thought I could make it on my own, I thought I was indestructible. I had an excuse 'cause I was young, I thought I was so untouchable. I would throw it all away. I would throw my life away.)
Zebrahead - Playmate of the Year (I just like the tune, not particular lyrics. )
Green Day - Coming Clean (Seventeen and coming clean for the first time. I finally figured out myself for the first time.)
Johnny Cash - I Walk the Line (I keep a close watch on this heart of mine. I keep my eyes wide open all the time.)
NoFX - Leaving Jesusland (In the dust bowl, cerebral black hole, the average weight is well over 200 pounds. I hate to generalise, but have you seen their thighs? Most haven't seen their genitalia in a while.)
The Aquabats - Red Sweater (I'm in love, it's great. See you again - can't wait. There's so much to do. You're sucha pretty girl, we'll travel 'round the world. To see this love through.)
Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up to Boston (Just a good tune again.)
Zebrahead - I'm Money (I'm a user, a shmoozer, a big dollar user!)
Lemon Jelly - The Staunton Lick (Relaxingness..)
The Aquabats - Martian Girl (Martian girl from planet B, will ya marry me? Wo wo wo wo wo!)
Green Day - Jinx (You fell for a jinx for crying out loud.)
Johnny Cash - A Boy Named Sue (Good tune againnn.)
Sum 41 - Fat Lip (Purely for Old School value.)
Alkaline Trio - Good Fucking Bye (I wish we'd never met. I'm tired of being bored, I'm through with the headaches at night and my hands, they tremble like earthquakes.)
Green Day - Reject (Who the hell are you tell to me what I am, and what's my master plan?)
Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah(Love is not a victory march. It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah.)

Here's a few songs heavy on my playlist...

"I Don't Feel Like Dancing" - Scissor Sisters (CAN'T WAIT until 9/26 when the new CD "Ta Dah" comes out).

"Lips Like Morphine" - Kill Hannah

"Along the Wall" - Leigh Nash (one of the most beautiful voices next to Sarah McLachlan)

"Candyman" - Christina Aguilera (such a guilty pleasure, that whole CD "Back to Basics"...but I love this Andrews Sisters-style song)

"Missing You Baby" - Puffy Amiyumi (I love the sound...reminiscent of Phil Spector-era Ronettes)

Contraversy Loves Company- The Audition: If you like fallout boy, taking back sunday, boy kill boy... you'll really like these guys if you havent already heard them! I'd recommend 'Its Too Late', 'Smoke and Mirrors' and 'Dont Be So Hard'.

Sex (I'm a) - Lovage: (thank you for this song baby!) slow...sexy.. chillout. Love it.

Beauty In The Breakdown & The Alamo Is No Place For Dancing - The Scene Aesthetic: Two guys and a couple of very chillout acoustic songs!

Suzie- Boy Kill Boy: These guys are kind of... 'The Killers'ish... but a little more rock!

Munich- The Editors: I'd say... better than Bloc Party, The Subways, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Scientists merged together in a huge sexy heap. Thats just my opinion though.

When You Sleep & Further - Longview: Just...beautiful. They lean slightly against Snow Patrol, but a little more full on. Im pretty sure most people have heard of these guys!

Glorious- Muse: We all know Muse right? Well this song is the dog's b*llocks!

Also anything by The Spill Canvas. I've been listening to these guys since early 2005, soft, acoustic, beautiful chords and voices alike, these guys are ideal for when you get home from work and think 'well what a shit day.'

Bland Street Bloom- Sikth:Now..be wary of these guys. Only listen to these guys if you're really metal. I say this, as my girlfriend cant stand them and occasionally, i TRY to coax her into listening to slipknot and 36 Crazyfists.

Which leads me onto my last song: Felt Through A Phone Line- 36 Crazyfists:This guy's voice is so original! You'll fall in love with it if you love wasshisocks from InMe, the lead singer! Also these guys can get heavy so listen with caution. This song is beautiful though! It dips out of heavy thrashing guitars to bare riffs until the lead starts to scream and even then! You'll still want to listen. Magnificant!

Now that your eyes are hurting from all of these eeevil words, i shall leave quietly :-D

Dixie Chicks: Taking the long way (especially "Baby hold on", "Not ready to make nice" and "Easy silence")

Shakira: "Dreams for plans" and "Your embrace" (lyrics might not be original but I can relate to it)

Rihanna: "Unfaithful" (Kick me, I love it)

Revolverheld: "Mit dir chillen"

Rufio: "Over it"

Roger Cicero: "Zieh die Schuh aus"

Hinder: "Lips of an angel"

Pink: I'm not dead (Still love "Who knew"... weirdly though. Have been listening to it for weeks now, same with The Veronicas: 4ever but I still cant get enough of them. Love the desperation in Pinks voice here)

And of course, JT's new CD :smash

Also, cant wait for the new Evanescence CD. Loved the first one, still do occasionally.

From time to time again:

The Perishers: Nothing like you and I

The Devlins: Don't let it break your heart

Marz: Whutsup
