Things I have to do before Wednesday:
Finish writing this chapter.
Clean the entire apartment, including pulling out the oven and fridge and mopping under them (fucking milk spill attracting ants)
Clean my car.
Get my eyes checked and order new glasses.
Keep excitement in check.

Things I want to do between now and Wednesday:
Play Civ V
Nap
Completely fail to keep excitement in check.
More of a dog person, myself.
I'm from Iowa, we drive four hours for a high school football game.

Christmas prezzies I have got already:
Poppy: Barbie fashion doll
Lucas: drawing pad and washable bath crayons
Mum: A body shop body butter and a calendar
Lisa: handcream ( to go as part of a"beauty box" that I am setting her up with)
Tim- a blokey shower gel and aftershave kit
My brothers gf: A Nails inc London nail set
Melissa: A pair of cosy socks, body shop perfume
Kerry: Candles
Cindy: eyeshadow set
I got some other gifts for my friends and others too but am bad coz I cant remember but I do need to buy at least one more thing for everyone. I am not that materialistic but I dont want to be known as the stingy auntie/daughter/sister. Stingy sounds like something has stung me but lol its British slang for being tight with cash/gifts.

Productive things I've done today:
Cleaned most of the dishes that had been piling up for a couple days (bad Jas!)
Completed a Speech assignment
(Finally!) repaired my laptop
(Unsuccesfully) attempted to move my files back on to my laptop
Sorted my dresser full of books in order of greatest to least need to keep
Sorted my secondary bookshelf
Compiled the books from my two bookshelves and my dresser, which involved reordering them all
A tiny bit of knitting

Productive things I need to do over the rest of my 5-day holiday:
2 Speech assignments
2 Microbiology assignments
Sort my clothes
Grocery shopping
Laundry
Finish dishes
Make omelettes
Run
Start sorting/trashing all the sentimental crap and old schoolwork I've accumulated over the years
Possibly buy more yarn
Possibly start Christmas shopping
Start study for my Microbiology practical

Fun things I've done today:
Slept in till nearly 10, and woke without an alarm
Watched 6 episodes of Doctor Who
Chatted with two friends
Played around on facebook

Fun (or hopefully fun) things still to come over the holiday:
Watch absurd amounts of Doctor Who
Read
Have a friend or two over to watch Doctor Who
Possibly make (vegetarian) fish fingers and custard or a TARDIS cake
Attempt to make banana daiquiris
Eat pumpkin pie
See some of my family
Wake up without an alarm for the next 4 days
Possibly swim
"To days to come."
"All my love to long ago.

I hope, we'll have more happy ever after
I hope, we can all live more fearlessly...

A guide to Feels

1. Find a book/TV show/fandom you like.

2. Watch/read/go through Tumblr and find out which character you like the most in whatever you choose.

3. Do whatever you can to find out everything about said favourite character.

4. Watch/read and see the character grow.

5. Squeal in delight when you find the perfect ship for them.

6. Ship said pairing even if it is not canon.

7. Slowly fall into despair as your ship keeps getting holes blown into it.

8. Get into fetal position.

9. Cry as your favourite character/pairing forever dies.

10. Cry more as your feels burn out and die with them.
I don't always wonder what it would be like if everything in the world was box shaped, but when I do I play Minecraft.

Things that have gone right with college:
-Got admitted
-Got awarded scholarship
-On 5th response, got someone to confirm I'd be able to keep my scholarship
-Had advisor come up with a class schedule that would actually work
-Had advisor tell me I was registered for Summer
-Made an appointment to register for fall over the phone
-Finally got an error fixed so I'll be able to fill out my housing contract online

Things that have gone wrong with college:
-On 6th response, was told that it's uncertain if I'll be able to keep my scholarship-- though I was told previously I would-- and won't know for another few days
-Struggled immensely to figure out my schedule, prior to an advisor coming up with a solution
-Couldn't register online for the summer, due to a prerequisite error, and had to call an advisor
-Received an error when trying to fill out my housing contract online; called someone who said it would be fixed by last night, but it wasn't
-Called someone else this morning about my housing contract at 8:50, only to discover they don't open until 9, so called back at 9:10 and was on hold for 20 minutes
-Couldn't complete my housing contract because it requires me to list my year (Sophomore, Junior, etc.) and when I tried to look up my program evaluation I got an error message
-Had to call about the error message for my program evaluation, and after a bit of a run-around was told it's because I'm not registered yet, and apparently there is no record of the advisor having submitted my registration
-My financial aid application was selected for "additional verification," meaning that receiving my financial aid for the fall and spring was meant to be delayed up to 10 business days-- meaning by yesterday
-Called financial aid this morning since I *still* hadn't received financial aid for the fall, and was told the turn-around is now 20 business days. Which means when I finally register for Fall on Wednesday, I'll have to pay out of pocket, which isn't impossible but creates another complication

Things I still need to do before starting college in 10 days:
-Call the advisor, to figure out why I haven't been registered yet
-Figure out my grade level so I can finish my housing contract
-Submit housing contract

Things to do for Fall:
-Submit another housing contract
-Get a pre-requisite waived, or submit my high school transcript for proof of pre-req
-Register by phone on Wednesday
-Receive my financial aid offer
"To days to come."
"All my love to long ago.
