Interesting things that have happened/people have said to me in the last three days.

1. "Have you got anything more interesting in your pocket than a marker?" : Said by the new store manager--in her defense I don't think she understood how it sounded when she said it. I told her I wasn't going to answer that and then said that she should call me when she got my meaning.

2. "I can fart in front of you because I don't want to sleep with you." I think he was trying to say that he thinks of me as one of the guys...but WTF.

3. My sister came over the other day (annoying) and wanted to use my computer to write the paper that was due (that day) for her college English course. I wanted her to leave, so I wrote it for her. She came over yesterday to tell me she got 100 on it. I'm not sure what that taught her in terms of life lessons...but it certainly made me feel good about myself.

The Components of Leaf's Really Good Day:

1) I slept in.
2) That was a really good cup of coffee.
3) The best breeze in the history of breezes is currently blowing through the apartment.
4) Private practice is starting to pick up.
5) I got confirmation that all is well with the license application.
6) I had a nice lunchtime chat with the wife.
