I’m glad you managed to solve all the technical problems, I wouldn’t have wanted to miss this! I like the style of your artwork, quite stark and striking, and it really suits the dark nature of the story.

I loved the end of chapter 2, it left me not knowing whether to be sad at the irony of vamp Tara realising she was human after all, or happy at her embracing her new existence, and her father and brother getting their comeuppance. Can’t wait for the next update.

And definitely looking forward to seeing spicy Tara :drool

Update!

Title - Still no title. Any ideas?

Author name - Leah

Email Address - foxfire141@hotmail.com

Rating - I'm going to have to say PG13 for now... It's nothing more than the show would deplict.

Disclaimer - Well, there's the obviousness of some girl on girl kissy action. Not a lot of angst - yet. Oh, and it takes place in the world of The Wish, but other than that, it's AU.

Feedback- Feedback is always appreciated.

Summary- The Bronze. Some vampires. A few human hostages. Willow's POV.

Notes - I love going back through the old Buffy episodes and seeing which characters I can mess with THIS time. ;) (sorry about the tiny printing... it's a bit hard to read)

Ok, now i had to reread because of your comment allykat. I can be slow sometimes. I do believe the master did suggest that. Very interesting! And who was he talking about? I will guess Tara, but maybe both :grin

Great stuff, I am not an art critic, but your stuff looks pretty good to me!

Oh this is fun!

First off I love the comicbook format, a real change from other fics. I like new things.

Also I am really into this story. I said it before, I don't like vampire-Tara stories, but someone allways comes around to make me a liar. This is a good one.

Of the Master is talking about soup. Tara has soup, she makes the best in all of Bizzaro-Sunydale. Willow did say she didn't like to share. ;)

But seriously, wow Vamp-Willow is a bit of a killing machine huh.

Can't wait for more.

Wow, Leah. Just... wow. This is absolutely fantastic. Your artwork is beautiful... it's not quite sparse but it's not overly lush. It's very inkeeping with the story.

It's nice to see someone who does comics, they don't come along very often. And since you don't have a title as of yet, I'll mull it over for a while, I can be good with titles now and then.

Once again, this is a wonderful piece of work, and I'm glad I got the chance to see it in progress.

foxfire have you read Strangers in Paradise? Your newly-garbed Tara reminds me a bit of Katchoo during her times with Darcy. The baggy shirt and long hair bit I guess. Anywho, you kind of remind me of Moore's style.

I'm so loving this!:bounce

Great update! I liked the way you drew Faith. Maybe you could color her hair?(I mean, if she's a brunette in your story?)

I'm a big fan of Strangers in Paradise also, it's one my favorite comics. It's written and drawn by Terry Moore, who also drew "Wannablessedbe", a Willow and Tara comic.Have you read that one? This W&T comic is in color, but SiP is in black in white. It's really awesome! Your comic reminds me of SiP a lot! Great work!

Anywho, BabyJune: I can't say that I've read it. I've heard of it though... it is a comic book, right? For someone who likes comics as much as I do, i really don't know a lot about the titles that are out there....

A comment about the comic: this story is - so far - open ended. If you have ideas or something you think would make for interesting story plots, let me know and I'll see if I can work them in.

Okay, need to be careful about what i say here.... mainly cuz it's Faith and i don't want you getting mad at me ;) But yes.... i must admit... i do especially love this chapter, mainly because i love the way you drew it all... the characters, and yes, Faith :p Plus, vamp Will gets all playful and butch... which, c'mon, is always fun.... but i really do love the way you draw Faith.... as hot as she is in 'real life'. ;) *Flees the board* heehee...

Great update! I love the style and imagry, though I didn't immediately recognize Faith (it was the hair - i was expecting it to be a lot darker than it was).

One question though: Who said anything about a soul? "She's like Angel" doth not a souled Tara make. Besides, if Tara had a soul, then I'm fairly sure that she would have some compunctions against killing people, which I have yet to see from her.

However, Tara isn't nearly as violent or spontaniously cruel as Willow is, and I wonder why that is: Is it the fact that her personality prior to being turned was so introverted that it tempered the demon that inhabited her body? Is it because she has half of a soul that fights a full demon? Or is it something else?

I don't know, but i really wanna!

Great job Foxfire! You're doing such a great job that you've got me making random speculations like I did with BtVS back in the day

ooh, I like this!!!

Willow's so cruel and evil and unbelievably sexy!!! Hee hee, :drool

I don't know anything about art but hey, I love what you did with the light and ratio. The one where the shadow placed about the half of Willow's face was pretty good.I mean,( maybe it's just me...) it gave a feeling about good and evil that separated in herself, ya know...

Anyway! I love the story and now hmm...Faith said something disturbing...

Damn, I'm just starting to like that bad Tara girl... :drool

So Vamp Tara has a soul? How did that happen? How come she and Willow haven't noticed when it seems everyone else can see it? Why am i asking so many questions?

To echo everyone else, your drawing of Faith is good, its just the light hair that seems slightly un Faith-like. Still, her cleavage makes her immediately recognizable!:drool

So Angel is still around, presumably leading the white hats. I wonder what he'll make of another vampire with a soul, who at the moment seems happy enough to kill. I'm really enjoying this, can't wait for the next chapter.

Re: Willow and Tara Comic

Postby Foxfire141 » Mon Jan 26, 2004 2:02 pm

Um... Wow... this was just supposed to be a three page mini story with no meaning... Now it's getting longer i'm afraid that I still won't be able to actually give you any answers to all the questions. Eep!

allykat: The reason I haven't filled in her hair is that I still have hopes that one day I'll be able to get this comic coloured. By me, or if I can convince someone else to do it. Colouring just gets so repetiative... ick.

And yes, I've read the Wannablessedbe comic. Excellent comic. Good story, great art. I really wish he'd done some more.

Jenny: You're officially banned from all things Faith. :P Evil Faith, corrupting my girl... :mad

Aaron: I promise, you'll get lots more. Although I'm running out of finished (inked) pages... I do have an ever growing pile of uninked work. So one way or another, I'll keep giving you guys updates.

TexanZeppo256: You said that if Tara had a soul, she might have some problems with killing. That's one thing about Buffy that I never really understood. No soul = killing machine, and a soul gaurentees that you won't want to kill someone.... Yet they had characters like Faith who, even though they had a soul, didn't mind the occasional kill. And that was just me thinking outloud... maybe it's best to ignore me when I do that.

To answer the rest of your questions though... uh... I have absolutly no idea. :hmm

chronic: I'm so glad that if the faces of the characters are unrecognizable, people can figure out who they are by the cleavage ratios. :wink As to your questions, I think I'll actually be able to answer them in the next few chapters. :D

That's all for now

I take it that the white hat's took Tara with them rather than just staking her becuase she has a soul. The question is what's Willow going to do about it?
