Hello kittens

Okay, so technically, I should be studying for exams, but, well, writing fics is lots more fun, & I've still got the rest of the week for studying.
Okay, so, if you remember, the end of the last update had a little surprise (pst, *whispers* Tara's pregnant, just in case you didn't know), so, now I think it's about time we find out a little bit more about that, don't you?

“Good morning beautiful.” Willow whispered softly to her love as the blonde stretched and wiped the sleep from her eyes.
“Morning sweetie.”
“You feeling okay baby?” The redhead lightly stroked Tara’s stomach.
“Yep, I’m all good.”
Three weeks had passed since Dawn and Kate’s wedding and a party was planned for later in the day to welcome the happy couple home from their honeymoon. Jules and Lydie were more than a little excited and at that moment, the two giddy redheads came running into the room and leapt onto the bed, bouncing excitedly as they tried to coax their parents into getting up.
“Mommy, Tada, get up, it’s the party today. It’s Aunt Dawn and Auntie Kate’s welcome home and open all the wedding gifts party, come on get up, get up.”
“Uh-oh, well, I was all good.” The colour drained from Tara’s face as she hastily got out of bed and made a dash for the bathroom.
“Lydia, Julia, stop that, the bed is not a trampoline.” Willow scolded her girls before rushing after Tara. The twins sat forlornly on their parent’s bed and shrugged at one another.
“Tara baby?” Willow tapped on the bathroom door. “Honey are you okay?”
An incoherent groan sounded from the other side of the door.
“Can I come in?”
The redhead eased open the bathroom door to find her love crouched on the floor with her hands clutched to her stomach. Willow rinsed a wash cloth under the cold tap before taking a beaker from the cabinet and filling it with water; she handed the drink to Tara as she sat down next to the blonde and pressed the cool damp cloth to her baby’s forehead.
Tara’s head lolled onto Willow’s shoulder as the redhead soothingly rubbed her sweetheart’s back.
“You feeling okay?”
“Yeah, uhm, a little better. Thank you.”
“Is Tada sick?” Julia whispered worriedly as she peeped around the door.
“Oh, no honey, I’m not sick, my tummy is just a little rumbly. I’m okay princess, I promise.”
“We didn’t mean to make you all sicky; we promise we’ll never jump on the bed again.” Lydia’s head joined her sisters and she nodded in agreement.
Willow and Tara shared a look and with a smile and a nod, a decision was made.
“Jules, Lydia, we need to tell you something. Uhm, why don’t we go through to our room and cuddle together on the bed?”
Willow helped Tara up and the family made their way down the hall to cuddle up in the comfy, queen-size bed, with the little girls squeezed between their parents.
“Uhm, oh, okay I know. You remember when Alicia was born; you asked us if we could have a baby?”
“Yes.”
“Well, Tada and I talked about it and we decided that we want a baby too, we, we wanted to make a baby together very much.”
“But, when Auntie Anya was having a baby you told us that you need a lady and a man to make a baby, how could you and Tada make a baby together? You’re both ladies.”
“You don’t always need a man and a lady, uhm, well, most of the time you do but uhm, you know how we’ve been teaching you and Lydie about Wicca and the Goddess?”
“Yes.”
“And you know that Mommy and I sometimes do spells?”
“And you said you’d teach us some spells when we’re bigger.”
“We will sweetie.”
“Okay.”
“Okay, well, a couple of months ago Mommy and I did a special spell and we asked the goddess to bless us, to bless our love and our little family…”
“Even me and Jules?”
“Especially you and Jules. Well, when we did the spell the Goddess saw that our love is pure and sincere and she blessed us with our own child, a baby made from me and your Mommy and the love that we share.”
A silence followed as the little girls processed what they had just been told.
“So, the baby is a gift from the Goddess, ‘cos she’s happy that you and Mommy are together?”
“That’s right sweetie.”
“Oh, okay.”
“Are you both okay with this?”
“I am, I can’t wait to be a big sister.” Lydia was very nearly bouncing on the bed again in excitement.
“Jules, honey, how do you feel about it?”
Julia sat very quiet and still as three pairs of eyes turned expectantly, and a little anxiously, to the eldest twin, awaiting her opinion. After some time a huge grin filled the little girls’ face and she eagerly flung her arms around her parents.
“So, you’re happy about this?”
“Abso-tively.” Jules giggled merrily and a collective sigh of relief sounded in the room.
“Is there anything either of you want to ask us?”
“Yes, lots, can I go first? ‘Cos Jules might have some questions too, but I have lots of questions and Jules likes to think about things for a while before she asks questions, but I have lots of questions now. So, can I go first?”
“Okay, this could take a while, why don’t we all get washed and dressed, then you can ask us questions while we have breakfast?” Willow suggested, well aware that Lydia’s questioning could last anywhere between five minutes and five hours.
Half an hour later everyone was sat down to breakfast and the twins were given permission to ask anything they wanted to know about the baby.
“Okay. Uhm, where is the baby? I mean, does it still have to grow inside Mommy’s tummy until it’s big enough and strong enough to be born? Oh, and is it in Mommy’s tummy or Tada’s tummy?”
“Hey, one question at a time missy.”
“It’s okay Will; it kinda was only one question. The baby is just like any other baby so, yes it has to stay all safe inside its’ mommy’s tummy until it’s strong enough to be born, and, this baby is in my tummy.”
“Oh, so that’s how come your tummy was all rumbly. You had uhm, morning sickness, like Auntie Anya did when she was having Alicia. Mommy told us all about morning sickness.”
“Well, your Mommy must have explained it very well if you still remember it all.”
“She did. Can I ask my next question now? ‘Cos, it’s just a little one, uhm, if the baby is made from you and Mommy, that mean’s it’s going to be a girl right? Because you can’t make a boy out of two girls, can you?”
“That’s right; the baby is gonna be a little girl.”
“When will she be born?”
“Not for a while yet sweetie, not until August.”
“Oh, can we give her a name?” Julia chipped in enthusiastically.
“Uhm, well, I guess you could uhm, help us to think of a name for her.”
“Cool, I like Algernon.”
“And I like Ethelbert.”
“Uhm, well, I’m not sure uhm, I mean, we can certainly, I uhm, I’m fairly sure that they’re uhm, boys’ names, but uhm, maybe, we could, possibly consider…” Tara struggled as she tried to veto the names without hurting the twins’ feelings.
“Tara.” Willow took the blondes’ hand and directed her attention to the little girls, who were fighting desperately to suppress their giggles.
“You two are just teasing aren’t you?” Tara pouted playfully and the twins dissolved into a fit of mischievous laughter.
Breakfast continued cheerfully and the twins, who now had a party, and a baby sister to look forward to, were even more excited than they had been when they woke up that morning.

Right, I hope that answered any questions you might have had?
Now, I'm gonna bounce off
