Hello, I keep forgetting about this thread. My apologies. I have been updating Doppelganger Redux, which is a very long story about another version of events following the BTVS episode, "Seeing Red", a story I began in 2002. I cannot emphasize enough the word long. DR is best not read all in one sitting. It has at times brought its readers to tears. DR is a story about deep love, all encompassing passion, great courage, occasional comedy, and horrific violence. It is also a story about a group of characters not of my own making, but beloved by me all the same (even Xander, even Dawn). If you are new to DR, please take your time. In my head, I think of DR as a kind of mini-series. The plot covers about nine or ten weeks, but the story extends deep into two different pasts. And like this post, it goes on and on and on. I expect to finish posting the final installments of DR sometime very soon (three weeks or so). Cheers.

I posted some additional chapters today, through chapter 36. As always, I am long windy. Properly paginated, the updates are about 40 pages total. We are still one chapter to the showdown, and then there are chapters to end the story. Another fifty pages or so, give or take.

Doppelganger Redux is finally complete. It took me 15 years to write it. It's massively long. Printed out in manuscript format, it clocks in at 816 pages.
