I read this update when you first posted it, but I've had such a crazy life the past few months, I've fallen seriously behind on my fic-reading.

So, here I am, a day late and a dollar short. But here.

Very sweet update. I LOVED the bus ride. Seriously.

Favorite line? The description of Tara's feelings when the music started up. I know exactly how that feels. It was... perfect.

Oh, and thank you for Tara's realization that Xander is just a friend! That couldn't have been better. I'm loving how comfortable they're getting with each other. It really is like we're living their relationship in real time.

Hey Heather, this fic is awesome! Normally I hate long drawn out angst because of the urge to hit the characters over the head with a blunt object. But this is just so well done and believable, that although I want to grab them and shake them while yelling 'HAPPINESS ISN'T THAT HARD, JUST TELL HER YOU LOVE HER DAMMIT!!!', I still HAVE to find out what happens next. And they feel so real that you just want to hug them and say that everything is going to be alright in the end.. or at least I assume it will be...
So pleaseeeeeeeeeee please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please update soon!!! Sooner than soon. Like tomorrow. Or now.. Or a little later maybe. But it will be soon right?

Sorry for being late again with my reply, I enjoyed so much these two updates, everything was magical, I could imagine every scene so clearly, the concert, their glances, light touches, and teasing were the sweetest torture. This story really stays up to the “it’s about the journey not the destination”. I can’t wait for what’s coming, Morgan’s visit, the party, I know plenty of angst, but can’t help it, I love it. I hope Tara is able to finish all her work, after such a wonderful evening I’m sure she’ll feel inspired, I bet confused too,

Well, I'm going to use this chance to reply without having to needlessly bump...

I only came over to this site because of this fic, but now I'm hooked on many others. Thank you soooo much for that! This is my favorite fanfic. And I've been reading fanfiction for years, so that's a real compliment. I usually don't even bother with unfinished stuff, unless it just started. And I won't read an unfinished fic more than once-but I've read this eight times already! I'm even on my way to nine.

Your writing style is amazing. I've never seen anything like it. It's the perfect mixture between reality and fantasy! There's so much depth where you easily could have gotten away without it, but stuck to it anyway.

On to the music. I generally don't listen to music authors mention in their fics. I used to try, but I gave up after a while. Sometimes bad music kinda ruins a great fic, so yay for that not happening this time! I saw a few bands that I normally listen to, so I decided to lift my ban and try a few others. Wow! You have fantastic taste in everything, it seems. So thanks for the music too!

Back to the fic; I can't wait for the next update! I'm anxious to get to their conversation after such an intense night. I'm excited about the new direction of their feelings. I love that they've both consciously chosen to focus on the 'now'.

I am sorry it is taken me so long to give feedback for the last 3 updates but I literally have been away from the board for a few years now. I know, shame on me. Hope things are well with you! And as always I hope you will update this fic when you have a chance

First; Willow's dream, some how I fall for that every time. Except this time I clued in on the snooze alarm, so I am catching on a little quicker Your dream sequences are always so nicely (did I really say nicely?) written. I should have said extremely hot Hee-hee. You know when they finally get together it will be mind blowing. I for one will have a cold shower ready... ha-ha.

I loved the "date"! All of the light touches, caresses at the concert and the bus ride home with the "no words" needed. I think Tara is really figuring out the Xander issue, it was great to see her work through that in her head. Xander = Friend

If Morgan would just move to Siberia I would be thrilled. You know I have said that before, hee-hee. Okay I know that has to be worked out too, and I have the utmost faith in you that it will be soon

I have a theory that because we got two updates in such quick succession 9 months ago, we might have to wait double the time for another (which, by my calculations will be some time in May). I know it isn't good news, but it keeps me from slipping into a despair by giving me something Neverlandish to look forward to.


In the meantime, anyone wanna talk about their favourite scene from this fic? I know it is super hard to choose but one that comes to me right off the bat is when Tara finds out what Willow does for a living and why she had kept it from her. The realisation was so cataclysmic and relationship-altering and I loved the vulnerability of both of them then. It woulda made me fall in love with Willow (if I wasn't in love with her already!).
