Amber being funny @ 'Heeb Storytelling'

While I see Adam Busch listed as a story teller, I do not see Amber listed, so am I not understanding your comment, or were you simply wondering what it would be like if Amber were to speak there? Does she identify as Jewish (I know her dad is, but I never got any real spark one way or another on her religious beliefs, except her grandparents- mom's side, obviously- were fundamentalist).

To quote Musky Muskrat, "it's possibool" she's identifying as Jewish now; in a little interview a while abck she was pondering how kosher seal meat , which she tried up in alaska, could be.

Thanks for the correect link. Well, I suppose you have to have some Jewish identification if you are going to give a talk at a Jewish story-telling program, put on by Heeb. Now, I be Jewish myself, but in the midwest- though my step-son-in-law is a rabbi in Oregon, where if weather permits I am going tomorrow.

As to seals, it is not clear to me. Kosher law says that for animals that live in water, only those with fins and scales are clean, but I am not sure if seals "live" in the water. But for sure, for an animal to be kosher it has to be slaughtered properly, and if by a hunter using a bullet, that would not qualify. Generally, it means by having the neck slit under proper supervision. Not to get gory or anything.... or too specific on kosher or even halal laws...

No word on videos, but apparently Monday night's performance sold out - I'm sure it was entirely due to Amber's lovely presence...

According to this link, Heeb Storytelling will be back in January - so local kitties may wish to keep an eye on the site for details.

Personally, I'm betting that Amber's stories will be full of raunch and potty-mouth, delivered with butter-wouldn't-melt-in-her-mouth sweetness and light. Any takers? :-)
