Amber's tv movie Gryphon

i was looking around and found that amber is making a tv movie called Attack of the Gryphon does anyone know if it will be on american tv and if so what cable channel and also anyone have any information about the movie?

The Move was made by the Sci-Fi Channel so it will be shown on that station only. As far as I am aware it should be on some time during the Autumn so look out for it.

I just hoping this gets shown in the UK and eventually released on DVD, but I suppose being a TV movie it might not get a DVD release. Of all the movies Amber's been working on recently this is the one I'm looking forward to the most.

Well, it's late August now...I am a regular Sci-Fi channel watcher and I have not seen any advertising on it at all...they have been having a new original movie every month pretty much and August has been dragons...I heard Amber's movie will be out in the fall but nothing specific...I'm anxious to see it too

There's a nice little ad/bumper up on the Sci-Fi Channel website for Attack of the Gryphon in the movies section...a nice pic of our girl Amber...if you have ever fantasized about seeing her in chainmail, here's your chance...Wow, a Christmas movie with Amber coming up on Christmas eve and Christmas day (the only prezzie I'll be getting) and then kick-ass Amber in January...it may not be a half bad winter after all

OK...I took a look at the pic on scifi.com.

Amber's there, wearing chainmail, her face covered in dirt and sweat and all that...

Something tells me this is the role Amber had been waiting for, for a while. Getting to ride a horse, swing a sword, slog through the mud, fight-to-the-death...I'll bet it was the most fun, and the hardest work she's done. I'm really looking forward to this.

She has somehow captured a look of strength, weariness, and just a touch of innocence (or is that innocence lost?). Nice mix; can't wait to see the movie.

OK, centered now. I can't wait to see this. I just hope it's not all cheesy like some of the dragon flicks I saw on SciFi last week. But, then again, she's going to be in it, so I will love every second of it. Either that, or I'll just remind myself that it can't possibly be as bad as Intermedio, and I watched every horrific second of that with a really stupid grin on my face. Actually, umgaynow, it's not such a far-out idea: consider the fact that Ingrid Bergman was in her thirties when she played Joan of Arc back in the 1948 film based on Maxwell Anderson's play!

While being bored and searching threads I came across an interestering interview under Amber Q&A transcript from Vulkon. I am surprised that CaptMurdock didn't bring this up sooner seeing as how he started that thread.

So see she totally wants to play Joan of Arc, not so sure about the too old thing though, I think she is just perfect.

I think the dirt smudges on Amber's face draw even more attention to her piercing azure stare and those enticing moist lips.
That Gryphon doesn't stand a bloody chance against her but it'd be a short movie otherwise so let's get as many closeups a we can of Amber in fighting stance talking trash against the timorous beastie

Life is again good.... got the DVD recorder for my birthday, so I am truly ready for Gryphon. Can't wait!

Also, is anyone else curious as to the lack of any kind of publicity regarding this flick? SciFi magazine (currently the February issue) has nothing about it. Has anyone seen anything else? Hmmm.....

I watched the clip and ooohhhh, she looks soooo goood. WOW!
There were only 2 brief shots of her in the clip, but hoo boy!!!:thud:
This should be quite fun.
I think this is really different from anything Amber has done before. I hope it does well and Sci Fi (or whoever is responsible) decides to do another film with her.
