Aly appears in TV Guide

TV Guide has a short feature on Aly in the new issue, on page 34, I think. She even gets her name on the spine--misspelled.

I haven't read the whole article yet (dang! I keep getting in the fast-moving late at the supermarket check-out ), but is anyone else a little peeved by the first two sentences (taken together)?

From memory:

"Alyson Hannigan isn't your typical sex symbol. She played a lesbian witch on . . . "

So, you're saying "lesbian" (and/or witch) doesn't equate to "sex symbol"? Is that a load, or what?

On the one hand, "typical" might be the operative word here, albeit that still makes your reaction appropriate so no hope for the writer there. Aly is a bit out-of-the-ordinary in that she (like Amber) looks like a real person instead of somoeone out of a textbook chapter on "official" definitions of beauty, but not having seen the piece yet I don't know if the writer is *that* discerning.
