Hi beanie. Basically, it went down like this:
1. Ferguson started out by showing the now famous "cab scene" from HIMYM, which ends with her delicious "Let me have it, ya pansy!", which cracked everyone up.
2. When she walked out, she got a
STANDING OVATION.
3. They proceeded to some general remarks about, for instance, that she always gets in touch with ASH when she and Alexis visit London (which they do, she explained, at least twice a year). Ferguson got a big laugh by asking, "Why would you go there? For the food??"
4. They then talked about "Hollywood Life" and its corrupting influences, which Alyson seems to have so clearly escaped (CF called her "charming"--duuuuuuhhhh!). She then went on to describe how growing up in the South (Georgia) grounded her, and made her less susceptible to "believing your own hype". [It should be noted that CF tried to trip her up by implying that SMG was like that, by she
expertly sidestepped the question].
All in all, AH was as great we all expected her to be--she is truly "cuteness on a stick, adorableness on the hoof"
