New Buffy magazine: Interview with Amber

Ok, I havent read it all, its too depressing but 2 things are made clear

1)They do miss amber, and know the fans are pissed, they point it out in a variety of places, even in the adam busch interview and

2)she is no coming back...

The article is titled "goodbye to you", its billed as her last interview, its all past tense, and she says

"She has no Contract"..

I'm sure there is more, but I feel like shit now..

Crap Ok I'm going to go and look for this now although the Barnes and Noble seem to stop stocking it. Hopefully someone will post a transcript sometime. Thanks DrLloyd.

If this is a recent interview, I am interested in reading whether Amber now feels free to talk about her contract status, etc. She has been unfailingly polite to we Kittens. I don't see that what she has to say will hurt more than, say, all those comments by Joss, SDK, JE, et. al.

No problem. Well given that JE was doing the amber not Tara thing the day after Grave aired, I would guess it would be after that time. I find it unlikely it was before then. To me this means Joss saying "Amber will be back" is just another lie..

Tyche I'd vote yay on the transcript I had no luck finding the magazine this morning. You know on the whole Joss saying Amber would be back etc...I always wondered if he was sick enough to mean that the actress that played Dawn's friend would be back this season, as her name's Amber as well.

I also would like to know when this interview took place..it makes me wonder why she told the Kitten with whom she exchanges e-mails with that she was coming back and why DrLlloyd's sources were saying 1-2 episodes..I hope Kittens will be asking her to clarify this once and for all next weekend.....I'm angry right now, very angry..What they have intentionally doen to their lesbian fans is appalling and there is no excuse for it..They could have ended this over the summer, but they were too busy being cute with their little Amber/ Tara comments.I hope their ratings end up in hell this season and I for one will be doing everything I can on my end to assure it...

Tyche I would be very grateful if you type up the transcript. God I feel like I been punched in the gut, which is so strange considering I really had no hope of Amber coming back. I guess reading about this being her last interview kinda tells me deep down I did hope, but at least I can find some closure now. However, I would love to see the spin ME/Joss puts on this latest interview (or in other words, what lies he tells us now)!
