I just bought the Chaos Bleeds comic book based on the video game and it is pretty good it has Willow and Tara hugging and some other good stuff. Also, evil AU vamp Tara climbs in bed with Willow and wants to vamp her or sleep with her or somthing. But, Willow magically knocks her out of the window.

Just read the comic. Loved it and want to see the game now more than ever.

I just read the comic and wasn't wild about it to be honest. While I understand what they were trying to do with the vampTara (since she was the only character with a previously unexplored dark side) I still wish they could have picked someone else to vamp out. Vamp Giles anyone? Although I wouldn't have minded seeing vamp Willow and vamp Tara get all steamy ... but that's for another time and another smutfic. Having Willow think Tara dead for even a moment is something I didn't need to relive. But I love Chris Golden's work and know he loves Willow and Tara (has anyone given him his official kitten badge yet?) so I will support this project. Or at least I will bug my friend to buy it when it comes out so I can spend insane amounts of time at his house trying to defeat it.



Oh, and did anyone else miss feel the comic was lacking in the classic Buffy humor of the Wilderness series and The Wisdom of War?

I read the Chaos Bleeds comic and thought that Chris Golden did a superb job with W/T and even with vamp Tara. It is not as if this is the real Tara, who is present, and what we do see of vamp Tara shows that she still loves Willow, and that all she wants is to be with her again as the Willow in her world is dead. Again this just goes to reinforce the whole soulmates meant to be with each other thing. It was nicely done and the reactions by Willow and Tara to her were interesting. If I have any complaint is that this is too short and should have had about 12 more pages of material, but for a one shot I thought it was very well handled.

So I guess you can play one of the "secret" charcters by the name of "Whedon".



So here is a vidcap challenge to all.



Load up that character and vidcap Vamp Tara kicking his fat pixelated ass. It will be good for your soul.



I guess there is an X-Box emulator being developed for the PC. I'll keep you all informed.

She seems to look much more like herself than Anya, but maybe that's just because I haven't been obsessing over Anya. . . It's an interesting angle, though, that shot.

I got it on Saturday and boy does Tara disappear fast!



Although this line has to be one of the most chilling/great lines:

Q: Willow is another playable character. And we're told she uses magic. Can you give us an idea of how this will work?



A: Willow utilizes a combat magic system, and like the Slayers, carries a handbook that instructs the player how to cast each spell. In Willow's case however, she will gain skills and magic abilities as the game progresses. Willow starts the game with a basic shockwave attack (a punch infused with magical energy) and a fireball spell for ranged combat. In the first level of the game Willow also learns the Sun-spell, which is quite powerful but depletes most of her magical energy when cast.



Willow is very cool to play. Eurocom just finished development on the recent Harry Potter game so they had a lot to pull from in terms of combat magic (what worked and what didn't work). Willow definitely "works" and it's quite fun to see her tearing through the baddies like butter with her sun-spell or her sonic blast. Willow also possesses defensive spells such as a shield spell, as well. One of her coolest spells is her 'possess enemy' spell that allows her to "convince" would be attackers to fight on her behalf. Like I said, it's quite cool to play Willow. Especially in multiplayer.



I have a feeling that many fans will enjoy teaming Willow and Tara together in the Team Survival multiplayer mode.

Saw this review in the Washington Post today: Grade--B; What You'll Love--The series wit lives on in the game's spot-on dialogue; What You Won't--Alyson Hannigan's absence (the voice stand-in doesn't come close to her lovable lilt); a glitchy fighting engine that can leave you open to attack.



I'm glad her 'lovable lilt' was missed.
