Little moments that crack you up. Every. Single. Time.

Anything about Willow & Tara, Alyson Hannigan and Amber Benson.

I loved in Triangle the look Willow gets when Anya states she can't drive. It's this weird mix of anger/frustration. Gets me every time. I also love in the same episode when Willow tries to cast a spell on Olaf and fails, she gives out the cutest "damn!". I love AH's delivery there...

Favourite Tara Moment:

In the episode "Older and Far Away" When Tara comments on the guy that Anya and Xander try to set Buffy up with. " I think he was cute, I mean Im not a very got judge, but he was cute", She also gives a little giggle when saying it.

Favourite Willow moment:

Too many to write down, Willow's just too funny.

Favourite Tara and Willow Moment:

Lots. But one of them has to be when Anya is trying to get them to curse Xander in the coffee shop. "It's more about the girl on girl action". :applause

Something which I only remember because I was rewatching some of the older episodes.

Near the very beginning of the episode 'Ted' (season 2), when Ted offers Willow upgrades for her computer, the little squeal! I crack up every time.

And, of course, the "geeker joy" line explanation isn't dead.

There's loads! I like it in Checkpoint where they get interviewed by the Watchers, and in Entropy when Anya is trying to get them to curse Xander, the "She likes it when I....stop explaining things" and lots more. <- Okay, that thing has bnothing to do with anything but it's still cute.

I liked that one scene in Doppelgangland where Vamp Willow licks Willow's neck... mmm... Vamp Willow is so sexy... I don't care that she's evil.

Willow: Hey Buff. One more thing. Buffy: Yeah? Willow: I’m gay. Buffy: Okay, Will. Xander owes me ten bucks.

Hi guys!

I just gotta add this one in as a new favorite Tara line for me. It's a shame they didn't give Amber more humorous lines because I think she really has a comic gift, aside from all of her other wonderful attributes and talents.

In Tabula Rasa, after they have all lost their memory, the big bads are outside yelling at them "Slayer!"

Tara says "Slay her! That's just what they said before."

It's the way she delivers that really cracks me up.

Oh yeah, also in Once More With Feeling, just saw when she backed up Buffy and bounced off the pole, then hid behind it laughing. Gotta love that girl!

okay. Season Two - Lie To Me

After Buffy confesses to listening to "I Touch Myself" and walks off after saying that she didn't know what it meant. Then a few moments later Willows face lights up slightly and she says "Oh! So that's what that song was about"

Same ep, morning after Angel asks WIllow to look up info on Ford. Buffy accuses her of drinking coffee and Willow laughs nervously and just slightly too loud.

Same ep again. Xander and Willow's conversation about sore thumbs and if they really do stick out.

Sorry..I just got Season Two for my birthday and I just happened to be on that episode. :)

The one moment that I will laugh at for the rest of my life is in OMWF. When Tara asks Willow what the boys are looking at and Willow responds "The hott-ness of you, doofus!"

Something about the doofus just makes me laugh hysterically every time! :lmao

I also love in "Under your spell" a.) Tara's back-up dancers, and b.) all the innuendos in that song!

I can't remember which episode it's in but when Riley goes patrolling with Willow and Xander. Willow and Xander are casually walking along eating and talking while Riley is being the big covert army dude with the stealthy moves and hiding behind things.

It just cracks me up every time, especially the way Willow and Xander keep looking at each other as if to say what the hell is he doing.

It just highlights the fact that Aly can say so much just with her facial expressions without having to say a word. I think it was Willows "is Riley completely insane" look that made me laugh so much the first time I saw it.

crack-up moment

Postby AquarianSky » Thu Jan 20, 2005 6:06 pm

What a great thread! I just discovered it today, and have been laughing my head off for the past hour or so.

All my favorite littlle crack-up moments have been mentioned except for ONE, that I happened to see again the other night. I often forget about this one in light of all the hilarious other moments, because it's SO quick.....but it had me LMAO all over again. From "Where The Wild Things Are":

Willow, Tara, Buffy, Riley & Giles are all sitting in the student lounge talking about how odd it was that a vampire & demon were working together, and it must be the result of Adam. Buffy says, "Who better to bring together a bunch of demon-types than a guy who's made from a bunch of demon-types?" Tara nods and comments: "So, he's, um... bridging the gap between the races." Willow who has turned to look at Tara, replies in complete seriousness, "Huh. Like Martin Luther King." Tara turns toward Willow and starts to furrow her brow a bit.....It gets cut off by a quick switch to Giles who is looking at Willow disapprovingly, as if to say, "You didn't really just say that."

The expression on Willow's face when the camera cuts back to her just puts me on the floor EVERY time. A quick slightly-guilty glance down, and then up and around, and the camera just *holds* on her for a couple seconds....like she's waiting for someone else to say something about it (??), but praying they don't. IT KILLS ME! Alyson's facial expressions are just TOO funny for words!!

There's also a really cute little Willow moment at the end of that scene, when Buffy & Riley bolt because they have "that thing to squeeze in" before class. Willow & Tara are both smirking knowlingly as Buffy & Riley stand to leave, but then Willow looks at Giles and sorta becomes embarrassed -- she shifts in her seat, and stretches her arms, chuckles slightly, trying to be nonchallant "Uh, they're probably just going to...." It is SO adorable! (and so is the way Tara is smiling at her) Followed by a great Giles line, cutting her off: "Yes, thank you Willow! I did attend University during the mesozoic era. I do remember what it was like."

Ok, not sure if this has been mentioned, and it's not exactly a crack-up moment, but it would be if it occurred during a different episode. I was watching The Body today, and I just had to smile and chuckle a bit at the part where Willow "puts up her dukes" and offers to fight Xander. It's soooo adorable, but unfortunately the humor is to lighten the otherwise somber mood.

mmmm..when buffy brings home fried chicken and all the others have already eaten. buffy looks hurt so tara says she can always go for some chicken...everyone starts asking for different pieces and willow says...."I'm a breast woman"...then gives tara a quick glance and says..."but you know that"...but it was so understanted, not played up at all

This has probably been mentioned, but I loved the part in "Faith, Hope, and Trick." Where they are all sitting in the laround the table in the libaray, Giles is meeting Faith, and all of a sudden Willow yells "ah ha!" And sticks her hand up, everyone goes quiet and looks at her, then she says, "Sorry I just meant, ah ha!" Then with the hand again, cracks me up all the time! :rofl

The scene in Tabula Rasa when Spike realizes that he, like Giles, is also British, and the facial expression that he gives is priceless.:lol

When Tara finds Willow and Xander in the woods and he asks Willow how long she's known that her girlfriend is Tinkerbell.:rofl

Last but not least, Anya asking Tara if she's ever played Shiver Me Timbers before. And Taras dead pan response of not being much for the timber.:lmao

Okay. Season 5, I Was Made To Love You, has the greatest WT scene at the spring break party when robot April is looking for Warren, Xander says something like, "a girl who looks like that won't be lonely for long."

We see Willow smiling, checking out April and saying, "Definitely not!"

Whoops!

Tara crosses her arms and gives Willow a look. Willow tries to talk herself out of the hole she's just dug herself, "oh not me," while Tara looks back and forth between April and Willow.

The scene ends with Tara looking towards April and Willow with an adorable "busted" look on her face.

It's such a cute little jealous moment that cracks me up every time, AND Aly and Amber are both so gorgeous throughout the entire episode.

I love that moment in "where the wild things are" where Buffy is staring at Riley and Willow goes:

"Hey, Buffy, this might be a good time to mention that someone,

so not me, spilled something purple-y on your new peasant top which I

would never borrow without asking. Still love me?

BUFFY

Ah-huh.

Willow and Tara share a look.

BUFFY

Huh? What about my peasant top?

WILLOW

Nothing."

I love the way Willow says 'nothing' and the look she gives when she says it. A classic Willow moment. Hilarious!!!!:lmao :lmao
