I'm in the uk.

I sent the order using the form on the chance site then paid using paypal. I got a confirmation about a couple of days later.

Hope that helps

Thanks for that justin, I've got the form but not a paypal account, has anyone paid using the money order method, if so, how do you go about it?

Money Order cannot be done from the UK as there is no way other than PayPal to send US funds to the US. It is frustrating for myself too.

Can't you send an International Money Order drawn in US dollars? You can buy these from banks in the UK, but I know they are expensive. I'm not sure quite HOW expensive, it's years since I had to get one. I know it's cheaper if you use your own bank.

Hopefully there is some sort of money order that can be used form the UK, it does say on the Chance site that money orders have to be drawn in US dollars and since I don't have a Visa or Mastercard (or other card accepted by PayPal), it's my only option.

Out of interest, Loki, you can set up a PayPal account to draw funds from your bank account. If you have one then you will be able to use PayPal to order "Chance".

hi,

if your really having trouble with the other ways to pay another (a bit risky) option would be to go to a travel agent change pounds into u.s dollars and with your order form send that off to them

if you ask at the post office they will make it a special delivery (so someone has to sign for it at the other end) and you can also get it insured so if it does go missing you can get some of the money (you sent) back

that's what i did and i had no problems oh i also asked for an email confirmation from Benson ent when they had received the cash and they kindly sent one,

it didn't cost me much for the insurance, but again it is not the safest option, but another option if you can't pay the other ways.

hope that helps :)

Thanks for the info Lilac:) , yay, another option, probably the easiest way to do it infact, if I can't get PayPal to work then I may just go with that. Thanks again.

Loki if you want i could order it for you as i have a paypal account! I live in northern ireland so you could just send a postal order or cheque, or even cash, whatever is handiest for you! I realise you don't know me so you may not want to trust me, I understand! But just thought i would offer! I got it myself through paypal way at the start when it was first available and i loved it! Obviously! Anyway, if you're interested you can e-mail me at flo1@hotmail.com

Hi. I'm new to the board but I love Amber!!

I just ordered Chance and I was wondering if anyone knew how long it might take to get it. I know it says 4-6 weeks but I figured that might be different now that they have made it and others have received it. Any idea?

Thanks a lot!!!

A belated thanks to Jimmi for reposting that info. I am curious how many copies of Chance they have sold so far. Any info on that? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I'm also curious about that...

And, as silly as it can be, I wish someone who's doing an interview with Amber would ask if she was expecting the amount of orders they got or if she was surprised by it.

Well, I asked "Benson Entertainment" (I was curious too ;) ), and they said they'd sold about 1800 copies so far, and still had about 4000 copies left (that was a month ago) :)

Oh thanks BFR. So there are only like 6000 copies in total. Damn, we got ourselves a collectors item then, kind of like the first print of the first Harry Potter. :p

My replacement copy of the DVD just arrived this morning. I haven't had time to watch it all yet, but I've watched the first few minutes and the picture is fine now.

Oh goodie, then mine may be arriving soon as well. If they were all sent out at the same time, it should not be more than a few days or so. :grin

I still haven't seen this. :sob But my best friend brought it for me for Christmas, so now I've just got to be patient and wait for it to be delivered. I can do that. I have the best best friend in the world!!!!! :bow I love you Ben!!!!!

I have, however, read the script, and it seems really cool. Just out of interest, roughly what is the run time? The script doesn't really seem that long, but that could just be me misinterpreting it, because it's split into sections, not all in one.

I got my DVD, poster, and picture yesterday. It only took two wks.

I wasn't really sure what to expect from the film. I knew that I would like it strictly for the Amber aspect, but I really loved it. It was funny, and a bit thought provoking.

Forbidden Planet are advertising "Chance" in an email they send out to folk. Looks like they get to sell it here in the UK and they credit Benson Entertainment for that. From what I can see, you only get the chance of the poster with it. I'm chuffed I got the photo!
