We all know people can burn DVDs, so if they want they burn their own copy and sell the original or whatever, it isn't illegal but maybe it's wrong. Maybe it's not the kind of thing as a fan I would want to do to Amber, as a fan.
I do buy from ebay. If I purchase a new item from ebay is so that the maker won't make money off me. I think many of us here know how that works with certain dvds from a certain show.
I also buy from ebay when an item is not available through any other means, cd is out of print or whatever.
I also buy trading cards from ebay because I could spend hundreds of dollars looking for a certain card, and I can spend less than that on ebay. I still buy the main set, but I don't take a chance on individual cards.
It's how I like to be fair, especially if I want the person who made it to get my money.
It's like going to amber and getting a picture signed, I ask her to sign it to me, because it means something to me. I don't ask her to just sign it without a name so I can make money off her on ebay. That doesn't seem right to me and I am not gonna do that, just like I wouldn't buy a DVD from her just to profit on it from ebay. Or worse, in the case of these people, they are getting a DVD that is being replaced by Benson Entertainment and are now selling the faulty dvd. It's not the behavior of a fan.
But it isn't illegal and they're free to do it, it's all about making money anyway. But personally, I'd rather take the high ground.
