Little moments that crack you up. Every. Single. Time.

Anything about Willow & Tara, Alyson Hannigan and Amber Benson.

I totally have to agree with Tara "swimming" ... that seriously cracks me up every time.

Gotta' add, though, Tara trying out a little "spicy talk" in IWMTLY and the looks she gets from everyone else there. Ahhhh... I swear, first time I saw that episode, I went back and watched that about seven times before I went on.

I know it not a w/t moment but it gets me every time, in the ep Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, i just love the little rant giles gives amy, it not so much the words but the looks and the way he knocks on the table as he is saying it.

Amy: (looks back into her pocket mirror) You have no idea what I'm

going through.

Giles: (gets up) (to Amy, sternly) I know it's not love. It's

obsession. Selfish, banal obsession. (Jenny starts out of the library)

Now, Xander has put himself in very great danger. If you cared at all

about him, you'd help me save him, rather than wittering on about your

feelings.

Amy looks away from him. Jenny goes out the door. Giles pokes his

fingers into the book in front of Amy.

Giles: Now, let's get on with some work. (turns to Jenny) Now, Jenny...

(sees she's gone) Great!

Well, there are sooo many i could mention but I'll try to just say a few that I don't think have been mentioned.

1) The part in "Earshot" when Buffy is freaking out about growing a demon part and then Willow gets this really serious look on her face and says "was it a boy demon?"... He he he he he he. Gets me every time.

2) There's that really cute bit in "Killed By Death", where buffy is in her hospital bed and the gang come to visit her and Willow hands her her homework.

Buffy: Homework.

Willow: It's my way of saying get well soon.

Buffy: You know, chocolate says that even better.

Willow: I did all your assignments. All you have to do is sign your name.

Buffy: Chocolate means nothing to me.

MAN! I wish Willow was my friend.

3) Dopplegangland in its entirety

4) And this from "Fear Itself"

Buffy: "Conjuring? Will, let's be realistic here, okay? Your basic spells are usually only about 50-50."

Willow: "Oh yeah?! Well... so's your face. :rollin

Oh Lord that was classic!

tidbits

Postby little bit » Sat Apr 27, 2002 9:25 am

Tara's 'spirit fingers' in OMWF were a giggle, and the leg hugging in the sewer in TR, was just a little too much help. :)

Also the scene in TR where Xander and Willow (apparently a couple) are going to leave the Magic Box and they each offer each other their arms by habit, and Willow looks all confused, and takes Xanders arm.

It was just cute and subtle.

Tara’s “Horsies!” line from Spiral

Willow’s “Gosh, look at those.” line from Dopplegangland

I crack up at the part in All the Way when the gang is at the Magic Box and Tara says “and you have more fingers, which is good, 'cause there's no need to wear those big white gloves to overcompensate”

Not having to do with W/T but gut busting none the less…

Anya’s “ It's like communism.” line from Tough Love. Oooh I forgot, Anya's line from Checkpoint when they are sitting in the loft and she says "Willow's a demon?!?"

Every time I watch the scene with Buffy in the Magic Box trying to sell the mummy hand… “And you get the dagger of Lex for free with it! See the inlaid mother-of-pearl ... underneath the black oozing goo?” and “Oh, it's just playing dead. Little scamp.”

I can not stop laughing. Ok for me, Life Serial is a frickin’ laugh riot. Except the geeks, screw their tediously unfunny existence.

Tara in Intervention when they are explaining the whole Buffy boinking Spike thing. The look on her face is brilliant. And then the "Are you kidding she's nuts" and the "Your not going to slap her are you?" line later.

Oh and I can't believe no one has mentioned the Lord of the dance line in OMWF that cracks me up everytime :D

Okay first, shame on me as I only ever remember the funny bits out of the very last episode I watched. In this case it was OMWF. Got to be the lame excuse/we want to shag NOW scene. With the Mrrphrmmwhatever report. Both actresses were superb here. I was close to cracking all the way through but when Tara ever so subtly, not, stared at Willow's clevage I was a goner. I laugh at this scene every, single, time.

Then the excited tone Tara uses when she says,

"This could blow the whole thing wide open." followed by dragging Willow hurriedly out with her. Must be some book is all I can say.

What a great thread! Okay, I just thought of a few that haven't been mentioned.

In the beginning of Bargaining, when they're chasing the big vamp, and Tara says the whatever root was "supposed to confuse him, but it just made him peppy. Do you think he was taking prescription medication?" *giggle*

In Flooded, the whole "Dawn dong research scene". I love how Tara is being all maternal and facing off with Dawn's teenage logic. Tara's tone of voice when she hands Dawn the book and says "knock yourself out" and then her expression when Dawn says "That's a weird place for a horn....Oh, that's not a horn." Just perfect! *snicker*

In Tabula Rasa, when they all first wake up, Willow asks Xander why, if he doesn't know anyone, he was all "Ooo, hey". He says, "well I thought you were a girl and I'd remember." Before Willow says "I am a girl" she checks her breasts just to make sure. :lol

And I know it's a) not W/T and b) so junior high of me, but, in Bargaining when Xander comes into the Summers house announcing "Not to worry house of chicks, I am a man, and I have a tool!"

I totally agree with the "Willow's a demon?!" line. That makes me giggle every time I see it. Also Willow's exchange with Spike when he finds out he can't bite her.

OK. Here's another one. In Anne when we think we may be seeing Buffy at the beginning but it is really Willow saying "That's right big boy. Come and get it."

For me its the scene in OMWF where Tara said 'I am cure'd' then laughs. Its the sound of her laughter that gets me. It strong and sexy. Every time I hear her laugh (which is only the once - too bad) I just have to smile...of course all her different ways of smiling.

For Willow it have to be the checking out the 'Bot' in 'I was made to love you'. Her expressions and the use of her eyes in expressing herself is priceless.

Tara in WTWTA: "Most horses don't like arm...much."

This cracks me up because I have been afraid of horses ever since one bit me on the arm when I was 8. Don't believe her!

Yeah,I love them in IWMTLY when Willow said " Definately not." and Tara gave that look and Willow tried to get away with that.Tara was just like " Hmm,look, she's trying to get away with that? "

And the dance in Crush.Ha! I'm the one who dance like that.Very goofy. :o

and all of it in OMWF ( the looks at Xander, the spirit fingers and the back up ) Actually the lyric of I Got a Theory is pretty much insane and goofy.

Anya is the one who crack me up everytime. The bunnies song in OMWF is the best one for me.Like she had Alanis possessed!!! and look at Willow's face when Anya finished her singing! like " ooookayyy " :lol

Any part in Dopplegangland. That episode is hillarious. And In ALTW when Willow is scolding someone about their witches costume and than goes all gushy over the little girls stereotypical outfit cause she's just so adorable:grin

Yup Yup! All of 'Dopplegangerland'... especially Willow's "Hey! You all didn't happen to do a bunch of drugs today didja?"

And in OMWF during 'I've got a theory' (though this is more of an Anya thing) at the very end...

SCOOBIES: What can't we face?

ANYA: Except for bunnies.

That cracks me up every time.

I think all the other WT moments have already been mentioned for me.

Postby Sparky » Sun Apr 28, 2002 6:07 pm

Let's see, majority of Tara's facial expressions, like in Older and Far Away when she catches Buffy and Spike..."Muscle cramp..." She's got the cutest face...anyhow,

With Willow also in Older and Far Away, when Anya and Xander are fighting over going on a beer run, she says "Okay."

Just the way she says it makes me giggle.

Another Willow one would be in Normal Again when she's rehearsing before Tara gets out of class "Gay love" and when she's explaining to Buffy after, on how she kisses all of her friends.

It was sweet :)

Tara: See those stars over there? "Short man looking uncomfortable." (Both laugh) "Moose getting a sponge bath." Mmm.. "Little pile o' crackers."

At the end of S3, when Willow's feeling nostalgic for everything high school--she walks up to the soda machine and says, "Trusty old soda machine. I press the button for root beer and you give me a Coke." And then she sort of pets it affectionately. That's *so* Willow.

Triangle & Checkpoint

Postby duellistjc » Mon Apr 29, 2002 12:22 pm

There is a small bit between W/T in Triangle that I absolutely loved, even before I actually saw it onscreen! (I read the shooting script on Psyche's site first.)

W: We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens, but it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know, insane.

T: I said "quirky."

Heehee! ^_^ I just thought their interaction was too cute! Willow gives Tara a not-too-subtle sidelong glances as she's speaking and Tara raises an eyebrow at Willow's comments before quickly responding with "I said 'quirky.'"

Oh, and I definitely agree with everyone who mentioned the "interview" scene in Checkpoint. That one's just priceless.

Older and Far Away

Postby PandoraSpocks » Mon Apr 29, 2002 12:38 pm

I crack-up everytime, when I see the scene where Willow and Tara come face to face at the door and then Tara excuses herself; walks into the kitchen; buffy hands her a drink and before she can finish her sentence (how did it go), Tara says "yes please". I laugh everytime, just the way she says it. :lol

I was sick over the weekend so had a BTVS marathon watching session.

Two moments in Family make me go "aw", and they're teeny tiny things really, but, one is just before Spike bops Tara on the nose Willow is very subtly holding Tara's hand. And later in the Bronze Tara misses a shot in pool, and Willow just rubs her arm in consolation. So cute!

you've gotta love the professionalism of Ms Benson - OMWF yes she backs into a pillar, hides behind it to cover the laughter then for the rest of the scene has her arms folded trying to control herself - BUT - she didn't blow the take!!!
