i have many faves... especially the ones that everyone posted already, but i don't wanna repeat them.... so here's Willow's little speech from 'Choices'



Willow: It's way too late. You know, it didn't have to be this way. But you made your choice. I know you had a tough life. I know that some people think you had a lot of bad breaks. Well, boo hoo! Poor you. You know, you had a lot more in your life than some people. I mean, you had friends in your life like Buffy. Now you have no one. You were a Slayer and now you're nothing. Ive always been a fan of the part in All the Way with the whole Mickey Mouse Fantasia thing, where Willow says she's "a little more adept than a cartoon mouse" and Tara replies something like:

"and you have more fingers, which is good 'cos then you dont have to overcompensate by wearing those big, white gloves."



It's just one of those moments where you say something totally odd and people either just stare at you or else look puzzled and smile and nod politely. Been there, done that!

You guys have all mentioned so many cool scenes/quotes...



I am going back to Season 4 for three lighter moments. . .



Even though in interviews, AB has said Joss didn't tell her about the direction of the W/T storyline until her 3rd or 4th appearance; there were some amazing subtleties in her acting.



I mean Tara was so completely adorable in the W/T scene from "The I In Team":



Willow: This is so cool. Wow. I've been trying to find the dolls-eye crystal my entire life. Well, since June, anyway. Where'd you get it?

Tara: It-it was my grandma's, I think. I found it a long time ago in my attic. I-I want you to have it.

Willow: Oh, no, Tara. Th-that's really sweet. I can't. It's like a family heirloom. I-I just wouldn't feel comfortable. But i-if you wanted to try out some spells with it some time, I wouldn't say no.

Tara: Maybe tonight. I mean, if you're not doing something you could . . come over and we could do something.

Willow: Tonight . . . That sounds really nice. But tonight I, uh, already have plans with people. Other.

Tara: Oh. Um, that's okay. Another . . time.

Willow: Absolutely. It's just tonight, it-it's kind of a specific crowd. You might feel out of place.

Tara: I better get to class.



Even though Tara was so bashful, she always took the risks and put herself out there. The above 'bolded' line, AB delivered it perfectly for her character.



Secondly. . .



Tara: I am you know...

Willow: What?

Tara: Yours...



Obviously this is a fave scene for W/T shippers a IMO this is the sweetest W/T moment of Season 4. And at the same time, I found it frustrating because they just end the scene with Willow smiling at Tara as she is picking up the phone.



I SOO want to fill in the missing scene of what ensued between W/T after Tara's brave admission. I think that Tara is taking a big chance telling Willow that she feels more than friendship. It's such a HUGE moment!



And finally from "The Yoko Factor":



Willow: Look, I'm not the one being judgmental here. I'll leave that territory to you and Buffy.

Buffy: Judgmental? If I was anymore open-minded about the choices you two make my whole brain would fall out!

Xander: Oh! And superior. Don't forget that. (to Buffy) Just because you're better than us doesn't mean that you can be all superior!

Buffy: You guys, stop this! What happened to you today?

Willow: It's not today! Buffy, things have been wrong for a while! Don't you see that?

Buffy: What do you mean wrong?

Willow: Well, they certainly haven't been right, since Tara. We have to face it. You can't handle Tara being my girlfriend.

Xander: No! It was bad before that! Since you two went off to college and forgot about me! Just left me in the basement to-- Tara's your girlfriend?

Giles: Bloody hell!



AH played the earlier scene well where Spike mentioned "phase"-- Tara knew it didn't sound like Buffy and suggested that Willow talk to her about it.



Willow was hurt that her friends would talk behind her back. Also, it was a clever way for the writers to address some of the homophobic responses to W/T. So when Xander has to stop his diatribe and turns around with the "Tara's your girlfriend?" his surprise look was hilarious and her return look was just vintage Aly.



But I gotta say that ASH off-camera with the "Bloody Hell!" was great example of the humor that we are sorely lacking in Season 6.

Willow and Tara are sitting on the couch, watching the History Channel. Willow looks upset.

WILLOW: (re: the program) Those darn Salem judges! With their less-Satanic-than-thou attitudes…

TARA: Oh. Honey. Let me change it. The Discovery channel has koala bears.



Though, to concur with many, my all-time favorite is from “Who Are You.”

TARA: I am you know...Yours.

God it melts my hearts. It’s so brave and honest and just… *sigh*

Willow: "You're right. The magics I've used are very powerful. I'M very powerful. And maybe it's not a good idea for you to piss me off."



Willow: "Try to drive him toward the the Van Elton crypt."

Tara: "Is that the one with the cute little gargoyle?"



Willow: "I'm Willow Rosenberg. Huh, Willow. Funny name."

Tara: "I think it's pretty."



Willow: "I'm all sweaty and trapped. No memory. Hiding in a pipe from a vampire......and I think I'm kinda gay."



Tara: "Good God, that's alot of shake."



Willow: "Hey...Clothes."

Tara: "Don't get too used to 'em."

Willow: "Yes, ma'am."



Tara: "Can't we just skip it? Can't you just be kissing me now?"



Willow: "Thats fine. I don't need to be snuggled."

Tara: "Vixen."



Willow: "We're lesbian, gay type lovers."



Tara: "I got so lost."

Willow: "I found you. I will always find you."



Tara: "I like sunrise better when I'm getting up early then when I'm staying up late, ya know? It's like I'm seeing it from the wrong side."

(*)The shooting script says "Don't get too used to them" , but Tara says "Better not get used to 'em." , and that sound much better than the shooting script I think.

At the moment, I can not even listen to Amber say

"Things fall apart, they fall so hard" from Entropy. It's become my favourite Tara quote.



My favourite Willow quote is "Over? How can it be over? I just found her!" from Tough Love.



Both are really sad but everyone else pretty much covered the best comedic lines.

I have no plans to send Tara anywhere. Amber and Alyson have such great chemistry; they're so great together, and they're very romantic together. We have terrible, terrible things to do to them because they're on my show, so needless to say, horrible things will happen--but as a couple, I think they work really well. As for Amber, even if she weren't going out with Willow, I think she's become a big part of the heart of the show. – Joss "Master of Hurtful Lies" Whedon

I love how she says it And the smile afterwards*swoon* Also, when she says "I go on line sometimes, but, everyone's spelling is really bad. Its depressing"

And in the same eppy, Xander realizes hes the grown-up the world through the his job, and he must be shunned. The way Willow says "Okay" makes me giggle

Have you noticed whenever the Scoobies are doing research and Willow has to find clues on her computer someone, usually Buffy or Tara, will ask what she's found and Will always says, "Encrypted codes, blueprints and schematics", then frowns as if it's very complicated and no-one should ask exactly what the bloody hell she's going on about.

That always cracks me up.
